The bacon temptation has temptated me. Ever since I saw death itself on my hospital cancer bed, I have had a sudden urge to consume bacon in a temptation omelette. The service serves me well. The ambience was tempting. Hell could not remove me from this ihop if it tried, I must have a temptation... a bacon temptation. The bacon calls to me like the sirens on the rocks, like the harpies in the sky, and a succubus upon the bed. I feel myself giving in to the temptation... I must have a temptation. Came to this IHOP knowing it would be the only time I would be able to afford to eat out for the next 2 weeks. The food was delicious but genuinely the service was god awful. This was at 7:15pm there was only 2 other tables in the restaurant yet the server (Jazara) was so much in a rush to leave the table. We would ask for 3 things and she was so inconvinced that she would start running off by the second thing we ask for. Then she seemed bothered that we asked for 2 checks, when mind you she should've asked in the beginning. No small talk no emotion just pure there to work the shift and quickly serve us so she could do her closing duties and go home. I waited 15+ minutes just to be able to ask for a refill on our water. We were nothing but kind and considerate towards this woman but instead we got the cold shoulder. I Hop Had breakfast with my family. The place was clean and inviting. The staff was friendly and attentive. It's a nice restaurant with lots of seating. I had the * Spicy Poblano Omelet - Fire-roasted Poblano peppers, red bell peppers, onions, shredded beef, Jack & Cheddar cheese, avocado, Poblano cream & chopped Serrano peppers. Very good and Very Spicy! My Daughter had Big Steak Omelette - Steak, hash browns, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, tomat & Cheddar and a Strawberry Shortcake Biscuit. My son in law had the Pancake Combo 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 bacon & hash browns. Everything was served fresh and hot. We all had coffee and it was good. Me and my boyfriend were craving breakfast foods and pancakes specifically. Since iHop has been in Razor Ranch we have yet to try it out, well today was the day. I didn't expect much since I see that out of 51 reviews it's a 1.5 stars, but honestly I enjoyed my visit. We walked in and we're instantly greeted by the hostess and seated in a booth. Our waitress Honielyn was quick and friendly and got our drink orders, which gave us time to look over the menu real fast. We both went with the Pancake Combo which gives you a choice of 2 same flavor pancakes, I went with the Mexican Tres Leches and my boyfriend went with Original Buttermilk Pancakes. After we ordered our food came about less than 10 minutes after. Which was nice, since the place started filling up. I chose the scrambled eggs which all I had to add to it was pepper were not too dry or too runny, I also chose bacon which was the right kind of crispy, and the hash-browns were cooked to my liking. My boyfriend got over medium eggs and he said they were tasty, he also added pepper, he chose sausage links and also got hash-browns. He said his hash-browns weren't as crispy as he's prefer but he said the flavor was spot on. Now for the pancakes, the Tres Leches pancakes take the cake, they were delightful and the perfect amount of sauce on the top were all I needed was a small amount of syrup to dip the pancake in. My boyfriend said he enjoyed his buttermilk pancakes but nothing special. Overall I was actually fairly impressed, quick service, exceptionally clean building, and a very nice waitress. I just finished up breakfast on Veterans day at the Frisco IHOP. The food was great, the service was amazing. I have gone to other places that offer Veterans day items, but often deal with a bit of attitude. The server Joselyn was supper kind and friendly. Food here is great. The biggest issue is how many members of the staff ignore the new incoming customers at the front. Even when we place an order online to make it quicker, you come in and still spend forever waiting and no one comes by to help you. If any server comes up to use the POS system at the entrance, they don't acknowledge anyone waiting at the front. read more

I'm bumping up my review rating. Went early last Saturday morning. It was busier than the first time but plenty of seating. We went in about 6am. Our server from the first time named "Sweet T" was there. Also someone I presume is the manager was helping. This staff was absolutely great and attentive. Again good coffee. I got the chicken fried steak and eggs and it was really good. My son got an omelette and it was massive. Food came out fresh and tasty. Coffee stayed full and again the service was really good. Arrived and was seated within a few minutes, it then took over 30 min of waiting before WE had to ask for service. Apparently we were given the wrong menus at the front as well. Order was taken and 30 minutes later our food came out. Food overall was pretty good, so they get a little bump for that but overall service was incredibly slow. Drinks weren't refilled, took like 10 minutes to get warm syrup, 10 minutes to get checks, etc etc. didn't notice any issues with the cleanliness/sanitation. Table and restroom were clean and well stocked spent 2 hours at this location and I would much rather have went anywhere else and been done with my meal in half the time. We had no idea before today that IHOP had moved to Rayzor Ranch. As far as I can tell, the entire staff is new. I saw there were 2 reviews in the last 4 days (1 star) and thought surely they can't be that bad. We thought we would see someone from the old location. Alas, not meant to be. I should have read the reviews before entering, I know better. The hostess *mumbled* a hello at us and then turned around without confirming how many, asking table or booth or even telling us to come with her. Ok, not my first rodeo so we followed her to a table. I asked if we could please be seated in a booth and glanced at the one I was standing next to. She said sure and led us across the room to the only booth in the sun with trash on it, which she removed. True story. At this point it was just funny so we decided to get an appetizer and bail. Our server was very sweet and came with our drinks quickly. We asked a question about a substitution and she was gone for a while. When she came back she said she couldn't figure it out. That's really ok, I get she's new and the substitution wasn't a big deal. However, by this point I had noticed a huge staff and that she didn't mention a manager, so I wonder if employees are encouraged to ask questions. We placed an order for an appetizer sampler for $8.49. Since we were seated by the window I had a clear view into the server station where they were rolling silverware and taking phone orders. I wasn't actively paying attention until I heard a clatter and glanced over. A knife (or possibly a fork) had scattered across the floor almost to where the dining room begins. I saw an employee bend down to pick it up and then put it into the clean bin of loose silverware. I could tell by the sound that it was full. There is no way they would put dirty silverware into the same 5 part bin as clean silverware- too risky and unsanitary. Even if they did, it wouldn't matter because she continued rolling silverware from that bin into napkins without washing her hands. At this point, I was sure I was being punked. I wasn't sure I wanted to eat there and wanted to leave. My husband pointed out the appetizer was finger food that was on it's way, and that we should stay but close out our bill ASAP. I looked for management to report the situation to but saw none during the remainder of our stay. The food came out and was hot and fresh. The mozzarella sticks were decent, the chicken average and the onion rings were meh. This is on par with my expectation of an IHOP. The ranch and honey mustard were good. I also liked my sweet tea. Overall, the food was a little better than other locations. We ate about half and were ready to get out of there (because I was uncomfortable, not because of the food). Our server didn't ask about the food, offer a refill or ask if we wanted anything else. She brought our bill and ran off. She honestly seemed overwhelmed. I sympathize, the first serving job can be hard. When she finally returned for the bill, I asked to speak to a manager and assured her it wasn't related to service. I calmly told the manager (who didn't introduce herself) that I didn't want to make a big deal in the dining room, but specified which bins of silverware (rolled and unrolled) needed to be washed right away. I didn't point out an employee, just the contamination. She looked like a deer in headlights, maybe she was horrified (she should be), maybe she thought I would start yelling or ask for a comp despite already paying. She told me she would handle it. In the time it took me to put my card in my wallet and stand up, she was out of sight but the bins were still there. Either she's too new to her position to know you remove the health hazard before viewing cameras or she didn't believe me. Whatever. I guess it's possible she removed it moments after I left. This was a nightmare. The cook was clueless! James I think his name was. He had no idea what her was doing . Told the waitress she should cook my omelette because he would definitely screw its up. Had all the food one thing at a time. Took him forever to open a frozen t-bone. Raw bacon . Trying to flip eggs in pan and they fly out of pan. They first gave him a small Patty to his burger that was little not even a patty it looked like they all took a bite out of it and passed it around the kitchen before putting it on the burger that's how pathetic the first one looked so we nicely asked for a bigger patty . So we got a second one & I was honestly irritated & didn't even notice the second one because I would ASSUME that the second one would be good but half way through my meal I see my little cousin eating a RAW ass patty like come on this is horrible & the girl still had the nerve to charge us for the second patty . There ain't a damn thing wrong with this IHOP. The 1 1/2 star review almost kept me away this morning. But I woke up at 4am and for some reason I needed blueberry pancakes. Got here at 5:30am. Was greeted in less than a minute. Took a seat. Dining room is very clean. My waitress, Sweet Tiara, was nice and cheery. She brought me a water and took my order. I got my pancakes in about 15-20 minutes. Everything was good. Tiara even made a whipped-cream happy face on my pancakes for me. I rarely post anything to Yelp anymore. But I feel like this IHOP has been unjustly slandered by some overdemanding, unsympathetic, and unreasonable customers. read more

This place is along the interstate and is VERY BRAND NEW so while driving to west Texas we decided to pull over and have a meal at this place and we regret it to the core. The place wasn't busy at all but it looked like they where closed for business because it was all messy the floors where littered most of the tables were unclean and the one we sat on smelled so bad and there were some flies roaming around. The food was no where close to what ihop is known for. Please fix everything about the food. It's a 24 hrs spot and that means a lot in regards to food. This is the email I sent to IHOP on May 14th of 2019. I am yet to get a reply from them... "On Mother's Day, my mom decided she wanted breakfast. She picked IHOP. She wanted to try the new store you opened in Denton. So off we go. We were greeted by a less than friendly hostess; Jackie I believe was her name. After waiting for a few minutes (not too long), we were taken to our table. As expected of any restaurant on Mother's Day, it was busy. We had arrived about 12:20; however, the restaurant was not at full capacity. There were four empty tables near us. Tyler was our server. He was a nice guy but a bit overwhelmed. He took our order, and it took about 30 minutes to finally get our food. That I could have just moved past. The problem was the food was cold. I don't know about you, but I am not going to eat cold scrambled eggs. Once Tyler finally came back to the table, he asked if we'd just like our plates reheated or would we like fresh orders. Seriously? So we waited again. It was quite obvious our food was not expedited in any way. Here is what really irritates me. A manager never once came to our table. No one other than the waiter even apologized for the inconvenience. If there was even a manger in the restaurant, he/she was not noticeable. Our check wasn't even discounted. Absolutely nothing. On my way out, I stopped to take a picture of the sign near the hostess stand about contacting IHOP. The rude hostess and two servers were standing there and watched me take the picture. I stopped at this IHOP with my father after a late flight. The place was filled with half drunk and fully drunk people on a Friday night at 1am. I doubt it is like that in the morning but to the credit of the staff they held it together. They controlled the situation and they had a security guard. The food was above average for an IHOP. My omelette was well made and the hash browns were just crunchy. My dads bacon was crispy and he said his eggs we right. The coffee was weak but we did just come back from the Dominican. The table was still damp from being wiped down, not a bad thing because it was wiped down. First I want to preface this with saying the young boy was doing everything tonight did great but he definitely wasn't of age maybe 11 since school let out but no older, he and his other sibling who ran around without shoes on belonged to the supposed manager. Besides him in the building it was a total of five staff members who actually look employed. I saw one of them twice when she took the order and brought it to us. The Young boy was talking to the tables and sitting them and getting refills. He also started USING the Chemicals to wipe down tables. The food itself wasn't that bad the onion rings tasted a little off but no complaints on the rest of the food. I'm still blown away by the young man he told us he made quite a bit in tips.
