I ordered french toast (no sides just the toast) 45 minutes in advance and upon arrival (at the time they said it would be ready) I was told it would be another 20 minutes.. 20 minutes pass and nothing!! also they were standing in a huddle talking for the entire duration of the wait hopefully they were discussing a game plan to fix the staff here. I'm currently waiting for my refund because STILL! NO TOAST! UPDATE: after waiting 45 minutes i tried for a refund but they "don't know how to do that" so i tried to be understanding and said "okay so i need the toast i paid for" which LEO "manager" informed me was ready and bagged up... so i said okay can i have it? to which he responded "that's what i'm trying to tell u. i have to go back there to get it" so i said okay?? can i please just have it then?? we went back and forth like this in front of 4 other customers until i finally offered to go to the back and get it myself since he clearly only wanted to argue (for no reason) and wasnt going to... he followed me back and went into the kitchen and yelled something out to me (didn't make it out but it was something about "helping me") turns out it was on the counter ready to go!! with a ticket printed out w the time stamp 10:46 (AN HOUR AGO) read more

My self and my wife live in Burnet, Tx and were in Cedar Park mid morning doing shopping. Decided that we treat ourselves to breakfast at I'Hop, since we have never visited this location. We were very disappointed and probably never visit again. The Woman's restroom was filthy and the food was not great. The hash browns were over cooked chewy and hard, the bacon was also very chewy and hard, the eggs were good, but the waffle was undercooked and felt like I was eating paper. I didn't complain to the server because I don't like making a scene in public, but I do have to say that the entire staff that we made contact with was very friendly and courteous. read more

Waited over 35 mins for a order that was ordered! Get in car check my order , no toast or gravy for biscuits! Went back in for them to tell me they didn't have anymore gravy or towards! Disgusting. My family got to IHOP before me and they were already at a table when I walked in, as soon as I approached the table I could tell they were trying to hide something. Turns out a bug crawled across the table right before I got there. My kids really wanted pancakes so they were determined to stay, I was ready to leave. The silverware was filthy, it looked like it was left on the table from the patrons before. We asked for new silverware and that was dirty, too! So now I'm completely skeeved out and so ready to leave but I know the kids really want their pancakes so we wait, and wait. Finally the food came out but the server who brought it had an old dirty Band-Aid on his thumb, the same thumb that was touching our food as he served it. At this point I literally felt nauseated, almost nothing bothers my husband but he was completely grossed out, too. We decided to leave and on the way out he stopped stopped to talk to the manager. The manager didn't care, didn't apologize, just shrugged. One of these things would have been bad but put them all together, just horrible. This was the nice IHOP in town, now it's just dirty and everybody who works there seems absolutely miserable. read more

I know, its a chain. I get it. Actually, we had gone here twice a few years back but there was a waitress who would instantly decide if she liked you or not and we, were not among the favored . Anyhow, one of our daughters chose this location for a birthday breakfast for one of the grandkids so last Sunday morning, 10 of us went there . We were told that the wait was 45 minutes but it wasn't that long. We got a table that was perfect for our family and were promptly provided with two pots of good, hot coffee. We had a delightful server who was attentive but not intrusive. All of our food was served together and was hot and looked exactly like the menu pictures. Requests for water and extra napkins were acted upon immediately. Therefore, on this day, this establishment earned five stars. read more

Slow service and took about 10 mins for a cup of water. At the end, I still gave a tip and the waitress comes back to me and says, "You know, I only make $2 an hour and sometimes $0 on my paycheck" with attitude. Instead of saying thank you for the $7 you made for 30 mins of service, you're trying to guilt trip me? Sorry you're expecting a $35 tip at IHOP. This isn't a steakhouse. For what it's worth, minimum wage is guaranteed in Texas so she should be contacting the US labor department if she's making $2 per hour. Will not be returning or recommending the location to anyone. read more

We tried again. Order was 40 mins late. Got home, half the order was missing. Seriously WTF is wrong with IHOP. I called to try to talk to a manager about my order and was on hold for 1 hour. Going to drive further for crackle barrel. read more

The waitress serving me was extremely rude. She had really short hair (practically bald) and it was gray. She was also a little on the chubby side. Her name is Jossette (or something along those lines) She does NOT get along with anyone who looks younger than 20. I ordered my order specifically a buttermilk pancake with no bananas and THEY GAVE ME A CHOCOLATE CHIP PANCAKE. She also messed up my dear friends potatoes. She doesn't give back exact change, she pockets a little for herself. Her assistant, name is unknown, was getting yelled at and pushed around by Jossette. She kept bossing my table around, talking about we need all the menus to be closed and all the checks now. It was not a pleasant time. She also threw and mop and it hit my leg. Do NOT go there because the service is terrible. Also rumor has it that they pee and spit in food and drinks. read more

IHOP 1431 used to be good. Not anymore. Service was slow. Took 15 minutes just for waitress to bring us the pot of coffee and nearly 30 minutes to get our food after that. Never was asked how was our food was. Food was fair (omelettes) but the hollandaise sauce was broken. The Poblano omelette might have been better if there was actually a visible amount of Poblano in it. And this was on a Monday! Worse the floor was filthy. One table took 40 minutes to be bussed with a napkin on the floor aisle for the entire time we sat there. We could see the kitchen where a red broom was lying on the floor--amazing no one tripped on it. Because of the broom we noticed that the kitchen floor was dirty with onion and other greasy food under the stoves. It will be a long time before we try them again. read more

Same as usual for IHOP but I'm a sucker for the beef tips and eggs. I know I know The service was EXCELLENT from Jossette! I ask for a little privacy to do some email and computer catching up. She sat me in the back to be able to talk on phone. She knows how to not interrupt or bother. Absolutely took advantage of the times I wasn't crazy multi tasking already by asking if things were ok and taking away dishes. It's the little stuff like that that will make me come back. read more

This store has a giant sign inside the lobby that says 24/7. The website accepted my order and took my money. Surprise when I drove here they are closed! Our waitress Vicki V was disrespectful and very short when we asked for frosting for my daughters pancakes that should have came hot and melted on the top. Brought her a ramikin of cold frosting. My wife's eggs were cold on the edges. My fajita chicken was over cooked tasted like it was cooked the day before and we have been here almost an hour ready to go and she just put the check on our table without saying a word to us. No refills and the cups have been on the table the whole time. People waiting to be seated and empty tables. Horrible service and customer care. Never ever coming back. I should have turned around and walked out the moment I was greeted by the hostess. Looked miserable and sounded miserable-er when asking how many people were in our party. She walks away without saying a word and then someone else shows up sat us at a table a few minutes later. Server was pleasant, about what you would expect at an iHOP. Food- burnt bacon, over cooked scramble eggs, hash browns were crunchy on the outside and raw in the middle, biscuit so hard you can have used them as a weapon. Tres Le Che pancakes- a rip off. Barely any of the tres le ches whipped cream on the top pancake and when asking for more the waitress was going to charge us. At one point my son tried to scoot his chair to get closer to the table and the entire top part of the chair came off and he ended up smashing all of the fingers on his right hand TO THE POINT OF BEING IN TEARS. We asked to speak to a manager- it took her 12:37 seconds for her to come out from wherever she was hiding. She looked even more miserable than the hostess did (I didn't think that was possible) to do nothing but say sorry that her dishwasher would fix the chair and then walk away from us. Overall, such a horrible experience that we will never go to a iHOP again- read more

My fondest memories of IHOP are all-nighters with a bottomless cup of coffee while in college. I'm sure the waitress appreciated the 50-cent tip back then.... I haven't been to this location for weekend breakfast, but I'll just assume it's a madhouse. I have had the pancakes, just at dinnertime. Yes, everyone knows that pancakes for dinner, or late at night, is somehow much better than pancakes for breakfast. Not sure why. My wife insists I tell my therapist that I somehow find the pictures on the IHOP menu, what with the placement of sausages, sunny side up eggs, cheese sticks and onion rings, and the like, to be somewhat Freudian. But I digress. My main problem with the menu is just how broad it tries to be. I'm pretty sure you're not going find the "Philly Cheese Steak Stacker", "Tilapia Florentine", or "Buttermilk Battered Fish and Chips" to be mind-blowing. Especially when we went the other night there was only one cook working (though the food didn't take terribly long). Our server was on it, though, seemingly very concerned about a delay that didn't really exist. I will say that my bacon cheeseburger was good for my diet (in that the patty was so meh that I didn't even want to finish it). So, I should probably just stick to the basics... Breakfast items, no matter what time I come. It'll just take more workout to make up for carby cakes covered with even more carby syrup. But I'm sure the jitters from evening coffee will help burn some of the calories. My daughter seems to be enamored of their crepes, with some sort of fruit and cream filling. So, I'll bump it a half-star or so if it's a place I can occasionally dine with my lovely offspring. 3.01 stars read more

From Austin to Huntsville, even Anaheim to Atlanta, the one thing I could count on from IHOP used to be consistency. To know that no matter where the location, the plate of food you got would be the same. Tonight we came as an ultimate last resort and could not have had a more uncomfortable experience. With no more than three other occupied tables in the place, we waited to be seated nearly five minutes before we were acknowledged while numerous servers passed us by. We each ordered waters and decaf coffee and were brought only one mug with the coffee carafe. It took another ten minutes to flag down the waitress to ask for one for my husband. Meanwhile, two off duty waitresses in their street clothes were going in and out of the kitchen being loud and deciding to sit at the table directly across from ours while waiting for their friend to get off work. When I waitressed at IHOP there was a break table in the back for that, and no one in street clothes without their hair pulled back was allowed into the kitchen for sanitary reasons. This doesn't give me a lot of confidence as to how clean the areas are where the food is prepared. As for the food, never in my life have I actually felt sick to my stomach to fork over $20 for such a disappointing meal. I got the French toast and it was okay, but my husband's plate was a hot mess. He asked for scrambled eggs and instead got fried eggs that were cut up, his hashbrowns were barely browned, and the double battered French toast he got which is their current new feature was plain awful. He picked the lemon strawberry ones which came doused in a syrup that tasted a lot like Kool Aid. For something that's supposed to be double battered they were awfully soggy as well. I'm sorry but none of what we ate was worth $5 let alone $20. I don't know what happened to IHOP, but I won't be returning anytime soon. read more

Would give zero stars if possible. My husband and I were hungry for breakfast and made our way over to a local iHop. The wait to get a table wasn't too crazy, about 5 minutes. We were brought to our table and this is where things went down hill. We quickly looked through the menu and decided what we were going to get pretty quickly. While waiting for a server another table of 5 was seated next to ours. We were waiting and waiting, several severs passed our table. The hostess who sat us also passed a couple times. No one stopped to great us and take our order or check on us. However the table of 5 next to us got waited ahead of us and even had their drinks brought out and we still didn't have anyone come to us. After about 15/20 minutes of waiting with no one coming to get our order we finally had enough and walked out. One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. It was pretty clear that iHop didn't care about my business so I did and will bring my business elsewhere. read more

Honestly I don't even know how we ended up here. This place is absolutely disgusting!!! The bathrooms reek! The restaurant smells so bad and dirty! They are so so nasty. The whole restaurant is literally disgusting! Managers and wait staff just walk over the trash on the floors or around it while looking at it. They have these nasty stickers on the table for the menus to be scanned...but aren't staying stuck on. They just look brown and soaked with bacteria. I had to send back 3 cups filthy with food stuck on. The server brought out two coffee cups that literally had dried coffee all over the outside....my husband's coffee cup had red lipstick all around it...no exaggeration at all, along with what appeared to be dried detergent powder caked all around the outside. Then he brought us silverware and I had to return 4 of those because they were caked with stick goop and food and some rolls of crumbled wet paper pieces inside as well. Then the server gave us straws that looked as though they had been living in his pocket for months because there was ink marks all around and the paper covering to the straws were all coming off and worn out. The straws were exposed through the worn, nasty written on paper....I had to request new straws. The service was horrible as well. I don't even know what we were thinking going here read more

Made the mistake of ordering takeout from here. They didn't include any of the sauces so we just had plain pancakes and crepes. We got there right on time but had to wait about five minutes. I went on a Saturday morning after an appointment that I had. I had about a ten minute wait. I moved to the wait area closer to the register. The host (older man) called my name and there was so much going on - I waited a few seconds and then spoke up. He replied with - oh that was your table. I said well I'm here and then he said you should have spoke up sooner. (I was trying to be patient and courteous (unlike him) because there was a lot going on at the time. I guess next time I need to yell. : (. I didn't say anything - thought about it but just decided to have my breakfast. Luckily, I had a great server. I don't remember his name but he was great. Food was good as well. I gave it three stars merely because of the first impression of the place - the host. : ( read more

Perfect as always! I got the spicy chicken ranch sandwich, and chose the chicken noodle soup for a side. I do wish there were more noodles in the soup but the chicken was definitely amazing and surprisingly filling for only 170 calories. The sandwich is definitely spicy, so that's something to watch out for! I ordered a water to drink which did nothing to quench the fire on my tongue! I also ordered a side of scrambled eggs because I was feeling a little breakfast-y, and they were exactly the way I like them cooked. My friend got fried chicken with honey mustard and ranch. She asked for an extra of both dipping sauces, we didn't realize the containers for the sauces were basically the same cup the fruit salads go in!! Plentiful amount of food especially for the cost. My bill was only 10.80 before tip, for a delicious and filling meal. My server Jo (which is short for something) was also amazing! She's just the right balance of silly and respectful. She seems to know just when to joke around and when to give you and your company some space. Without her the nice wouldn't have been the same. Thanks for another great experience IHOP! read more

Horrible let me tell you why it's was Saturday evening about 930 and The restaurant was not busy so really no excuse for any of the following issues , and with all the playing around we could hear in the kitchen they should have been cleaning or practicing their cooking skills! The floor was so sticky your feet stuck as you walked to your table. My menu had leftover food sticking the pages together , at this point we should have walked out ,but we ordered anyway , ended up having to return one of the dinners like it had been sitting all day and then they just stuck it in the microwave I mean how can you mess up chicken fried steak everything was cold and old The boys had ordered the pancakes and they were so flat I had to ask did you think we ordered crapes ! wow this restaurant has really gone down hill fast. Sad to say but We will not be back anytime soon read more

I usually don't come to IHOP, but this was the only place that was still open at 2Am on a Saturday. First impression.. The SMELL in this restaurant was terrible. The whole one hour we spent there, I felt like I was eating in a mobile restroom. I was dreaded to finish my meals. We ordered chicken strips + fries, waffle, mozzarella sticks, and French toasts. Mozzarella sticks had very thick breading, cheese to breading ratio was 1:1, shouldn't it be 10000:1? Fried chicken strips were good surprisingly, crunchy with juicy chicken tender inside. Nothing special with their waffle nor French toasts. Except extremely pricy. A waffle for $7??? You gotta be kidding with me. Chicken and waffle is $7.99. And French toasts were $6.80? My goodness. Total ripped off. I wouldn't come back here unless i had a lot of drinks or in the middle of the night when there were no where to go to.
