Sticky floors, I went just by myself just to treat myself after working on my car for almost the entire day without eating, when I got sat down the waitress acted almost like she was making fun of me (and I just looked like a regular guy my hair wasn't messy nor was my sweatshirt or pants or anything, I just looked normal) for just going alone, making me feel unwelcome and eat fast as hell and I still tipped. The absolute worst when it comes to IHOPs. Never again, absolutely never again... My bf and I thought having a late breakfast/pretty much lunch around 12pm wouldn't result in too long of a wait for food, but boy were we wrong. The girl at the front checking customers in/handling the waitlist had a friendly demeanor and was probably the only good part about our visit. We were seated within 10-15 minutes, as she said. Our booth was dirty, so she was able to clean off the table as we seat down. Our waiter on the other hand, was quite interesting... Since we were waiting before being seated, we had plenty of time to look over the menu and were ready to order right away. However our waiter made up a weird excuse in only being able to get our beverage orders to start since he still had to get food for another table. Um, ever heard of writing it down? After another 20 minutes, he came back around with our drinks. I ordered a coffee and he just brought one mug, and I had to ask for creamer as the waiter didn't think to bring it proactively (as one usually does at most diners...). My bf ordered a cold foam brew that was supposed to come with a whipped topping, but he was served a dark brown drink that apparently had an odd taste not like the cold brew he was expecting. The waiter then told us that the machine used to make the whipped topping was broken...okay, why did you not tell us this before? We finally put in our food orders, and our waiter did not write anything down. We were super hungry at this point, and waited a good 40 minutes before we received our IHOP. IMO, this is ridiculous for an IHOP---where one would expect cheap and fast diner-style food. I had ordered the veggie pesto benedict with a side of crispy side potatoes. Not hashbrowns. I said this twice to the waiter. Similarly, my bf also ordered a benedict dish with a side of fruit. We both got a side of...HASHBROWNS with our orders *insert palm face emoji here*. We also ordered a plate of Tres Leches pancakes because the picture on the menu had us sold. We were almost given a mini stack of plain buttermilk pancakes, and had to remind our waiter what we ordered. What came out was the sloppiest, messiest, soggiest, stack of pancakes we had ever seen. Needless to say, we did not finish it. When it came time to pay, even that was a struggle and took a good 15 minutes before the waiter came back with the receipt. We left a little after 2pm...seriously? I normally don't give 1 star reviews, so when I do, it is absolutely because it was a disaster of an experience. IHOP Cedar Park, do better. read more

My dad's favorite spot. he loves the pancakes and bonus points for having sugar-free maple syrup. For a couple of minutes we were the only ones in the restaurant 1:30P. We have never had a bad experience, sometimes it's busier and the wait times are a little longer but again today was great. Our waitress was fabulous. I had the chicken and waffles off of their new spring summer menu. The restaurant is well maintained. My diet soda was flat and I immediately brought it to the attention of our waitress. This place has the WORST customer service! The only good service we received was from the hostess who became our waitress because the server assigned to our table refused to serve us due to this being a young student that apparently didn't like my daughter at school! She disappeared for 15 minutes and left me standing at the counter. The ambiance is casual but IHOP's just feel dirty, dingy, n sticky. This one feels that way and they need someone sweeping at all times. One mom and daughter asked to move after being seated due to food and trash under the table, just gross. What is not so enjoyable was there were many young kids running around and screaming nearby- which is not the restaurants issue it's a parental problem!!! However, I can understand why it's a solid choice for families! The menu is extensive and surely everyone would be able to find some thing that they liked. nothing is inexpensive these days, but in terms of quality and volume of food for the money again IHOP meets the needs. Leo was very busy as they did appear short staffed. He wasn't able to make it back to offer coffee or drink refills but but Our food arrived hot and fresh & was good! My oldest grandson actually ordered two breakfasts. One was eggs Benedict with hashbrowns. The other was a cinnamon chocolate crêpe. He shared an order of sausages with my youngest grand. It was a huge plate full of food , both of them ate every bite .....I ordered a senior breakfast that came with two eggs, small piece of ham, a piece of sausage, and a piece of bacon and hashbrowns and a buttermilk pancake. I gave away the ham and the bacon. My eggs and hashbrowns filled me up but that pancake looked so good that I ended up eating half of it and it was indeed light and fluffy. As far as late-night takeout goes, this particular IHOP has been my go-to for a while. They're open considerably past any other restaurant, and the night shift does a solid job with the menu. I'm giving them 4 stars due to convenience, but if you're ordering during daylight walker hours there are better options out there if you prefer quality over availability, price, and quantity. I'd particularly recommend trying the Breakfast Biscuit Sandwich - it's a craving-satisfying combination of all the things I love about breakfast. I have to give them a major shout-out on how they package their delivery options, as pretty much everyone else puts it all in the same container, but since IHOP separates out the items they rarely get soggy or dry. Pro-tip: Make sure to get cheese with the sandwich and don't forget you can open it up and stack the hash browns inside for a nice added crunch! If you're ordering at the restaurant, one other tip is to ask for real or whole eggs with your order. I feel bad for not writing a review for here sooner. We order from here often. I really love ihops to-go packaging. It comes it a double box to keep things hot but not soggy. Getting to go can be very hit or miss, but not here. Here I always know that it will arrive at my house in the best possible condition. I had surgery last week and this is our second time ordering from here in the last 4 days. Their pancakes have become a comfort food. I've never been crazy for pancakes. I've always liked them but it never my go-to for breakfast foods. I think this week I'm just needing something delicious and reliable and IHOP has been perfect. Thanks y'all read more

Look I know iHops aren't the fanciest but I thought I would take my boys to get a treat and have pancakes for dinner which they love. It took 33 minutes just to get water to the table. This IHOP location in Cedar Park was terribly dirty. The first indication I had was the sparsely occupied parking lot. Upon walking up to the building, you could see how dirty the doors and windows were. If it had not been for my elderly parent who desperately needed a restroom we would have left immediately. The restaurant reeked of a vinegar smell. The waitresses looked miserable, absolutely lacking in smiles or greetings. The only positive thing I have to say is about the nice young man who waited on us, Jarek. Walked in to this ihop on a Friday eve, seeing more than half tables empty on the entrance side, and expecting nothing more than a usual 24-hr diner experience. Lileana greeted us (and the kids) with a big smile and from then on it was a different experience for us. All the staff here were so friendly and accommodating to all requests. They let us change seats to the more lively side(so kids will be entertained), gave free blueberries till the kids food was ready. We had the chicken fried steak, chocolate pancakes mac n cheese and coffee(I love their black coffee) - all had a fresh taste. (Not a big fan of their turkey bacon, though!). Food arrived at a reasonable time and the bill was very reasonable too. This ihop truly has a WOW factor.. kudos to the amazing staff!! Will surely visit them again :) read more

I hate doing this but need to update my review after the last 5 visits. My patience has worn thin after defending IHOP many times. My loyalty was based on having a hot pot of coffee on my table to refill my cup when needed. Since COVID the pots are gone. So are the sugar and sweetener packs not to mention the syrup choices. These have been some of my experiences in the last 5 visits. I had order a French toast combo which included eggs, bacon and hash browns. Finishing up my eggs and one piece of bacon and a few bites of the hash, I left to go to the restroom. Upon returning my food and coffee were gone. My waitress apologized and said she'd get more a new breakfast. After ten minutes a plate of French toast arrived and she said the rest were being made. Well, I finished the French toast and nothing else arrived. Waitress dropped off my check and said she gave me a discount for my troubles. The discount was .97 cents. So no 2nd piece of bacon nor hash browns but a .97 discount which won't even get you a piece of bacon. Another time I come in and wait ten minutes for someone to seat me. I only see one waitress handling six tables. Finally from the back comes a boy. He says follow him, we take the long way around for a bit and seats me in same section as the one waitress. Drops off the menu and leaves. I wait again. I understand staffing shortages so I am patience. That is until, I spot the seater boy and a young girl waitress just inside the dining area chatting up a storm while the one waitress is running around. After a 15 wait, my order is taken and another 10 minutes until I get my food. That boy and girl were still chatting. Today was the final straw. I order the 55+ French toast. Everything is going well and I handed the waitress $20.00 for a $9.29 check. My change given was $10.00. What about the other 71 cents. If it was below 20 cents I would let it ride but not 71 cents. This was the first time since COVID that I gave less than 20% tip. Their dishwasher needs replacing or cleaning. The silverware is always filth. The tables are usually sticky. My son and I had the best experience at a recent lunch outing. Our server Angelle was so friendly and helped us navigate the new menu format so that we got exactly the food we wanted. She checked in on us frequently and accommodated our somewhat quirky requests (separate plates so we could share our food, different dipping sauces, removal of ingredients, etc). The prices have gone up since we last visited, but with the use of the loyalty program "Pan Coins" I have accumulated, we got a lot of food for a fair price after the discount (you get 5 Pan Coins on your birthday, which is enough for a full stack of pancakes). My spinach mushroom omelet was very tasty, fresh and hot. My son enjoyed his chicken tenders. We had enough food left over for a second meal. The lights were on and delivery was available on doordash so I presumed it would be open. I get there and the door is locked but I noticed the lights were on and there were workers inside.
