So we stopped by MorninGlory the other day and it was a good experience. Seems like a lot of people come and go, and they've clearly got a steady flow of business. So they must be doing something right. The food was good, the atmosphere was good, and the service was good. I ordered a burger and a latte. Odd combination, I know. But I couldn't come to a place like this and not try the coffee. They do the little latte art thing, which is always a nice touch. I also really appreciate that they serve drinks in actual glassware. I'm just not into drinking hot coffee out of plastic lids and paper cups if I can avoid it. Everything came out great. The latte was smooth and flavorful. The burger hit the spot. Nothing over the top, just fresh and well put together. The place was clean, bright, and had a relaxed vibe. Definitely felt welcoming without trying too hard. No complaints. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll for sure stop by.

A great place to have brunch if you are ever in Lakeway! Beware of crowds, as with any brunch specialty cafe on a Sunday morning---especially on a holiday weekend! When I came by this morning, my bf and I were able to get seats right away, since we were fine with bar seating...though it was a tight squeeze and we were face-to-face with the WALL! We were served pretty quickly, and I started off with the beetroot latte. Unlike other lattes I have had in the past, it had a very strong beet taste, which was a distraction from the latte flavor profile as a whole. I was able to customize the breakfast platter so it was vegetarian-friendly, and it was well put-together with poached eggs, rye bread, potatoes, and marinated tofu---so got my protein in! They also had a plethora of sweet treats and pastries. Overall, I would definitely come here again next time I'm in Lakeway during brunch hours!

The food was ok.I ordered the chicken and waffles. The service was good, and didn't have to wait long for the food.

Today we decided to have a brunch date here! I had heard such great things about this place and I'm happy to say they were right! The place has a great vibe and service was super friendly! We didn't feel rushed and we hung out for a bit to enjoy our coffee. We ordered breakfast first, finished it and then ordered coffee. My vegetarian quiche breakfast special was very fluffy not dense with a nice flaky crust. The side arugula salad was a bit overdressed with the dressing but still tasted good. Next time I would just say light on the dressing. The hubby said his tacos were the perfect amount of taco meaning he wasn't overly full. He had pico, chorizo and potato tacos. The salsa had a nice flavor. My lavender latte was very good. Lavender was not overpowering so I could still taste the coffee which I enjoyed. The hubby enjoyed his iced latte.

My girlfriends and I came from out of town, we were looking for coffee and we found this gem. We returned a few days later for breakfast and it did not disappoint. The lavender latte is the best weather is iced or hot. The ambience and vibe is so nice and welcoming. I hope to come to Austin soon and visit this place again!

I really wanted this to be 5 stars because it's a cute restaurant and cute idea but it fell way short on quality and price. The presentation and ambiance was a great vibe but when you think about what you are paying for you'd expect more from brunch. The food lacked flavor and substance. It reminded me of cafeteria food. Eggs were lacking in flavor, pancakes were dull, flimsy bacon, burnt sausage. We had to ask for a lot of things. Salt, sweetener, butter, utensils, napkins, ice for water. Luckily the waitress was friendly. But you'd think that all these things would be thought of with the price you are paying. I'm sorry to say- we won't be back, which is unfortunate.

This place was true to its name and was positively Glorious! Avery took such wonderful care of us and we loved the Pulled Pork Benedict with the apple slaw. The Tres Leches French Toast was hands-down the best French toast I've ever had! We drove in from San Antonio and it was absolutely worth the hour and 40 minute drive and look to do it again in the future.

This place was great for breakfast! We were a party of 8 and they did fantastic accommodating all of us. I tried the pancakes and the ube latte all of which were tasty and delicious.

Pumpkin spice hotcake

Visited the cutest breakfast spot for some delicious coffee and brunch. I was surprised at how cute the space was. Servers were attentive and helpful. I ordered the seasonal pumpkin spice latte and pumpkin spice hotcakes which surprised me! Super fluffy and chewy with a nice little bit of sweetness. Not pictured is the adobo bowl which blew me and my bf away. Very tangy vinegary and deliciously flavorful! If we weren't visiting from out of state I think this would be my go to brunch!

Quiche Lorraine (special)

Super popular weekend brunch spot - be prepared to wait! Drinks, food, and service were good. The only downer was that sitting near the entrance meant it was pretty chilly with the door constantly opening/closing. I was happy to see a few specials offered - quiche Lorraine and shepherds pie. I opted for the quiche and it was super flavorful with a side of dressed arugula. The breakfast burrito looked great too. They also offer to go options/coffee bar and some yummy looking pastries!

Food was delicious and we sat on the patio so we were able to enjoy a relaxing valentines brunch! Good sized portions and unique flavor combinations with the chicken and waffles that was delightful! Our service was great and we will definitely visit MorninGlory again soon!

Review: VIVEL - Lakeway…read more VIVEL in Lakeway never fails me. Every single time I come in, the food is perfect. It truly feels like a neighborhood restaurant that everyone loves--locals constantly gathering here for coffee, great food, and good company. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, making it a place people naturally return to again and again. This visit, I ordered the classic hamburger with French fries, and it was excellent--simple, fresh, and cooked just right. I also had their Moon Latte, which was absolutely delicious. Everything was spot-on. VIVEL is a wonderful place to enjoy time with friends, family, and even children. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for incredible cuisine, great coffee, and a warm neighborhood vibe.

The food is consistently good, and most of the staff have always been incredibly sweet, welcoming, and helpful. That said, we had a really disappointing experience during our last visit that felt worth sharing. A younger female employee with a long dark ponytail brought our food over, I think she was a food runner - but she wasn't wearing the Vivel branded t shirt like the other employees. When my husband politely asked for ketchup, she visibly rolled her eyes before bringing it. When I then asked if I could please have a knife (I'm seven months pregnant, for context), she started to walk to get one, took two steps, turned back and said "you can go get it yourself". It felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive, especially given how quiet the café was at the time. We stayed for a while after and watched her standing by the counter organizing utensils, so it wasn't a matter of being too busy. We really like this place and will continue coming back, but this interaction stood out in a negative way and didn't reflect the level of service we've experienced before.

Everything was hot and delicious. Service was great. They were pretty busy. All the tables were taken inside, and a lot of the outside seating was full too. My small latte, with only 1/2 shot of espresso was $5.95 that I purchased one week ago. Yes, the prices have steadily increased over the year, but I accepted that due to inflation and competition. What I cannot tolerate is that in one week my drink went from $5.95 to $7.33. I wish my salary followed Winston's unbelievable increase in one week. P.S. Winston's reached out to me and following up on several emails, I now understand why the latte charge had increased. Apparently, I hit the button for tip, not realizing it, and when I questioned the server, she just said that was the price of the latte. All is good. I will get my latte from Winston's again.

This may officially be the best kids restaurant/coffee/bar spot in all of Austin. I'm talking playground, swing, climbing gym, massive green yard, and plenty of shaded tables. To top it all off, there is an additional bar right along side. It's brand new, so they are still working out the kinks/trying to expand. A few things to call out. 1. They only have the one kitchen, so it can get pretty backed up. 2. No additional bathrooms, but they are working with the city to allow it. 3. Parking can get tight, curious how they will try and tackle this.
