The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I ordered the turkey sandwich. It tasted great. I will back, Great ,Abigail.

Food ok once my order was right. Glenda my server had to be on drugs. looked like she hadn't slept or showered for days. messed up my order.

Pretty standard IHOP if you ask me. The reviews here say it was the worst ever but we didn't experience any of that. We walked right in on Sunday morning (during Church hours) and got a table easily for six of us. Service was fast and good. Food was exactly how we expected it to be. My pancakes were crispy and delicious. Eggs were cooked correctly. My kids loved their crepes and waffles. We ended up taking home a few leftovers so that was nice. Coffee was better than what I got at the hotel nearby. As far as the inside goes, it's setup, decorated, and feels exactly like every other IHOP, maybe a little bit dirtier than some in fancier locations, but it wasn't disgusting or anything. read more

Went to IHOP for breakfast, went right to a table waitress came over and took our order, well she comes back and says I am sorry don't be mad we are out out the cheesecake cream for your waffle, well lately this is a regular occurance at this restaurant. It is always something they are out of and then my husband got cold pancakes they had to be ordered again. Long story short the experience SUCKED THE PRICES ARE TOO HIGH FOR THE FOOD QUALITY AND WE WON'T BE GOING BACK FOR A REALLY LONG TIME. read more

Im surprised to see the low Star rating. We have experienced nothing but good food and the waitresses were wonderful and personable.

I had the most pleasant experience at ihop the other day. The waitresses were on fire! Fast, efficient and the hardest working gals I've seen in awhile. Glenda was the kindest waitress I've had in some time. She can hustle! It reminded me of old summer vacations with my parents. Can't go wrong with a good cup of joe and scrambled eggs. read more

Have been here one hour and 20 minutes and do not have our breakfast yet. Service is so bad waitress has horrible attitude Not looking good can't rate food haven't seen it read more

Went to IHOP in Arden Nc yesterday. A very bad experience. My wife and I wanted a good hot IHOP breakfast. Well did not work out well. Got a bad IHOP breakfast. When pancakes don't melt butter not good. Her toast cold. The eggs were cold, hashbrowns cold, sausage cold, beef tips cold. Might need more than 1 waitress in early morning. Will never go back. read more

Not sure why but I always get some bad waitresses here. Maybe because it's morning and everyone is usually grumpy in the morning before their coffee;) but the food is good! I had to say one time when we went as a group to eat here, one guy got hair in his food and he only took one bite! And he didn't eat anything at ihop, and he was shy to tell the waitress. So he just ended up paying for his food that he only took 1 bite off. read more

I guess for ihop it was good. Total time from sitting down to food was 12 minutes. Amazingly fast service after reading others reviews. Restaurant floor was being cleaned right be out table while we were eating, but then again...it's ihop. read more

Delightful experience. Amber, our server, was kind and patient. The food was solid. Would definitely come back.

Well once again another restaurant that doesn't get shot right obviously if my husband is calling an hour and a half head of time don't you think he wants it got me ready when he gets there duh stupid people learn how to have better customer service at this point it should not have took two hours to make my food and wait for it so my food should have been free so fucking better Ihop it's not that fucking hard read more

Went to Ihop too eat. waited 5 mins to be seated. got sat and no one ever came to get drink orders or anything. gave them 10 minutes then got up and left. had workers walking around helping other people there but no one ever helped. won't go back. never had that problem before read more

My son & I went to ihop to catch up! Our food was okay. My sons eggs tasted like rubber & the waffles was hard it looked overcooked but on the bright side my jolly pancakes were delicious!! Our waitress took our order quickly! On the downside of this visit we were sitting almost at a view of the kitchen where the ladies wait for the food to come out for the customers!! A lot of the workers was just piled there gossiping about another coworker which is never a good thing that you want your customers to hear or see!! There was plenty of work to be done but, there was just a large group of co workers there using profanity & being loud. I probably won't go back!!! read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. They have messed up several times on my orders through Uber. My only guess is that they don't do quality checks before the order leaves the restaurant. Who wants flavored pancakes without any syrup or fruit? Did they think I wanted 1 strawberry and syrup that lacked a lid so what little there was would spill out? That I want to eat it dry? If I wanted plain pancakes, I would have ordered them that way. Who wants a burrito without the tortilla? Who wants double blueberry pancakes without the blueberry compote that you put on top? You get it right for dine in, why can't you get it right for to go/delivery?! I will not be ordering or dining in at this location again. So ridiculous!! read more

Terrible policy to not take another customer because of understaffing, but refused to close down. This sore was picking and choosing who they wanted to serve. My family and I were turned away but was told they were holding a table for a particular customer to come. read more

Highly disappointed and most definitely unsatisfied. I wouldn't give them a penny if I had to and if I could I would give 0 stars. I walked in with my REGISTERED service dog and put in my name and everything and wait 15 minutes then they call us to be seated and then tell me that my service dog can't be there. AFTER I WAITED. The same lady who put us down for the wait. I explained she's a service dog and what she does and "what action she performs" as the lady asked. And then the lady says "we don't support that and laws don't cover her". As I have her card in my had says she's protected and that she is needed. Might I add that is a VERY quiet 3.2lb Pomeranian that just sits in my bag. I will not and never will be coming back. Period. read more

Every time I go in this place I have to stand at the counter for a good 5- 10 mins before anyone will acknowledge I'm there. Delivery is even worse. They use DoorDash for their deliveries and I would highly recommend that if you dare to get delivery, order through the door dash app. If there is a mess up, which there always is, you have no recourse with DoorDash because you didn't order directly through them. That being said, I just paid $50 for cold crappy food, $3.50 of that was for an orange juice I never received (for the 3rd time). Well I have finally learned my lesson about this place and will never order again or step foot in those doors. The only reason I would even leave one star is because the fact the door dasher didn't use a hot bag and couldn't even make it up the steps of my porch, isn't the fault of IHOP. read more

I'm writing this more so that hopefully the management checks in and does something to fix the problem. The problem isn't the staff, who are friendly and working hard...something easily seen. Here was my problem, it seemed to be the staffing. Last night, I made an online order 2 hours in advance, since I was planning on picking up after work. I arrived promptly at 7:30. There was a line of people wanting to make orders or be seated. Unfortunately it seemed there was 1 cook, 1 waitress, and 1 shift lead...a total of three people. The restaurant was busy, and the staff was obviously overworked. Even though I ordered so early, I walked in and waited 10 minutes just to be seen. It was another 15 minutes before I got the food I had ordered 2 hours prior. It is my strongest opinion that the owners need to HIRE MORE PEOPLE. The food was as good as was expected (we have never had complaints about this place before) and the people working were amazing under very stressed conditions. They just need some help. read more

My family and i use ihop as one of the go to breakfast places. Usually they are ok. But today we sat for over an hour from the time we put our order in to when we got our food. MY food looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for about 20 min, and they didnt even get the tight order out to my mom. So an hour of waiting for the WRONG order. And my dad ordered the sirloin tips and eggs and said that it tasted weird. I understand being understaffed. But i had a little one (5) with me and he kept saying when tables around us would get their food and how long was our food going to be. He even started clapping when our waitress brought out our food because he was so ready to eat. Its the last time in a long time we will be back to ihop. read more

Service was incredibly slow. We got seated fairly quickly on a weekend morning. But it took about 10 minutes before a waitress took our drink order, another 10 minutes for simple glasses of water to arrive and then 45 minutes for our food to arrive. I was rushing to get to the airport and this didn't help. The food itself was OK, pretty standard for IHOP. Nothing to rave about. read more

Don't try to use the Yelp waitlist for this restaurant. The waitlist said we'd be seated within 15 minutes of our arrival and when we arrived we were told it would be 1.5 hrs for 2 people even though we had joined the waitlist and were told 15 minutes. They said the times aren't accurate on the yelp waitlist. We haven't ever had this trouble using yelp waitlists with any other restaurant. Don't waste your time. read more

Possibly the worst Ihop I've been to. Was seated promptly, server took our order. Food came out rather quickly, too quickly. My wife got the Danish crapes with raspberries, very little filling and extremely sweet. I ordered the country omlette, was cold and nothing like the menu description as it was ALL potato, no cheese and SIX small cubes of ham (yes, I was able to count the ham). While our server took my meal off, no manager came out to address the issue. We will NOT be back. read more

I can't say anything extremely bad about this IHOP. Even though they DID forget about my order of (if I remember right) a steak melt, TWICE. We were seated fairly quick. I got my drink in decent order along with the rest of my family. And then we all placed our order. This is when I waited. And waited. Was reassured at least once they would get mine ready. It was another 15 minutes or so before I in fact did get my meal. I was on the verge of asking to see a manager after my meal, despite it being good, because it wasn't like the place was exactly slammed. They acted proactively, and my meal was free because of the fact I was almost forgotten for 15+ minutes. The service to the rest of our party went a lot better, and so I'm going to give them a 3/5. Just do better next time, please. read more

This place is just ok. It seems pretty clean. I really dont like hearing all the servers conversations that happen at their window waiting on their food to come up. Or while they are standing at the POS. The food is just ok. Sugar overdoses. If you're looking for ok food and ok service then go here. But I know much better places for breakfast. read more

We went there for dinner just now, January 5 , my husband got his usual ,country fried steak and I ordered the turkey and dressing with gravy. First of all , the dressing was like mush, the gravy was thin as water and the color of tea, I tried to eat it as best l could ,until l felt something in my mouth and immediately knew it was a hair. When we told the waitress, she looked at us like we had 6 heads and should eat it anyway. She finally picked up the plate and took it to the kitchen and told us they were fixing another one. I said NO,THANK YOU AND I'M NOT PAYING FOR THAT PLATE EITHER. I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THE DOOR AGAIN, THAT'S JUST NASTY. read more

Food was good and hot. Coffee was brought to our table but...had nothing to stir it with. Asked server for silverware and she mumbled something on the idea that she would have to roll some - of there was any clean. I saw clean silverware come out of the kitchen. Finally, my husband got up and got some silverware.terrible service of you ask me. read more

I sure wish I had checked Yelp before visiting IHOP today! Let me start by saying that there were many waitresses working there and they were working hard and the food was good. However, had I not been so hungry, I would have left. First of all, we got a seat next to the kitchen area and granted, there are many things we don't see in restaurants and I'm certainly aware of that, but when you are close enough to see what's happening behind the scenes....ewwwww.....I'm not a mask debater, but one waitress in particular was not wearing a mask and she was sweating profusely and wiping her sweat with her bare hands and picking up plates and clean glasses taking them straight to the customers. Others were yelling outside their masks spitting on plates they were holding in their hands. I'm impressed that these ladies were there working when so many people refuse to work, but yuck!! Wash your hands!! read more

Some of the food was very good, but bacon was greasy and not cooked well. They were busy, but service was not good. Main complaint is manager was abrasive and condescending and insulting. Instead of trying to solve the problem I had (the waitress had lost the coupon we had give her worth a few bucks, but it was a coupon). Anyway, left such a bad taste in our mouth from his venomous handling of us, that we will not be going back. read more

OMG!!!! Do not go to #iHop on 229 Airport Rd #1, Arden, NC 28704 location. They absolutely are the worst. We have been 40 mins and people came, ate and left around us. Unreal. The waitress is rude and clueless. The manager came over to our table finally with the food. We asked her why it took so long. She was going on and on how she had other things to do. I asked her was it because my date was Korean. She flipped out. Grabbed my cold food back from my hands and said she will buy our breakfast and dont ever come back to her store as if she was the owner. #Racism #Discrimination read more
