I been craving a sandwich from Jersey Mikes and since they had free delivery this weekend I decided to try this location for the first time. I placed the order online and it was pretty simple. I managed to get the order set up and there a section with special instructions so I asked for oil and vinegar on the side. As I finished placing the order I forgot to add pickles and called the store and asked the customer service rep for a side of pickles. The sandwich was done very quickly as I was surprised. The driver for to the store rather quickly and delivered it with no problem. As I opened the bag I saw the sandwich and pickles but they forgot to give me the oil and vinegar I had put down but its ok. The sandwich was excellent. The bread was soft and fresh and the toppings were tasting fresh as well. Even the lettuce was crisp. Perfect! I m very happy to try this and will be back again. Food was really good and the manager behind the counter seemed to be very positive. We bought two sandwiches, chips and ice waters. Didn't pay attention to total until I was eating. Got charged for three fountain sodas to the tune of 7 bucks plus the drinks weren't paired with the chips for additional savings. People have many options of where to spend their hard earned money. Yay, I'm a fan because their subs are better than Subway's. This worked well in a pinch for dinner in a hurry one night. Jersey Mike's bread is better and the subs don't taste quite so...manufactured. Yeah, they're made the same way -- right in front of you, with you telling them what you want, but these taste just a little better. After a miserable experience on my first visit (see below) the manager reached out to me. He apologized, restored my points, and even sent me a free sub card! What a nice guy. I told him I would give it another shot, which I did today, and everything was great. I got the grilled chicken with hot sauce sandwich and it was delicious. Well prepared and quick as well. Everyone was nice and much more jovial than last time. Looks like the manager whipped his staff into shape because this visit was much better. Initial review: I can confidently declare this "The Worsest Jersey Mike's In The World". Perusing the other reviews, it appears that subpar sandwiches are more the rule than they are the exception. I checked my points balance and saw that I had a free sub, so I strolled in and got the pastrami Reuben. It wasn't very good. After ordering, I waited patiently for my sandwich. I gave two stars because it arrived fairly quickly, but that isn't always a good thing. As the guy was putting the sandwich in the bag, he said "I accidentally made this on white bread. Do you want me to remake it?" What he should have done is just remade the damn sandwich in the first place. If you know you made a mistake, fix the mistake! It's different if you don't realize it. Thats like telling a customer at a steakhouse "I know you ordered your filet minon medium rare, but here it is well done. Do you want us to remake it?" I accepted the white bread because A) I have never had heir white bread B) I was kind of in a hurry. Bad choice. The bread was hard and super dry. The toppings were haphazardly thrown on The sub so that one end had 75% of everything, leaving a limp, flaccid, empty end. What am I supposed to do with that? I don't expect people to be Break dancing or flipping cartwheels due to enthusiasm, but maybe you could pretend like you don't work in a morgue? After posting I was quickly messaged by the manager to let me know their policy is to use 99% fat free turkey, and to wash it before slicing. It is reassuring that they do have protocol in place to ensure this doesn't happen, and I think I just went on an off day when things may have been overlooked. Me and my Boyfriend decided to drop in for some dinner tonight and it was so good! Not only was the food good we walk in the guy who was the manger already knew what we wanted mind you we are not regulars but we sure are now! The manger and the employees really were working together as a team and the atmosphere was the best and this jerseys mikes was by far the best one I have been to. We got to see first hand how this manger and the employees worked together and it was amazing some of them it was even their first day and they were perfect i would definitely recommend working here if you are looking for a job! read more

This Jersey Mike's location is below average compared to other locations around WNC. I call in lunch orders a lot to have them ready at a certain time, multiple times I have arrived just to wait in normal line, then I tell them I called my order in, twice they have not made the food yet. Real lack of urgency by employees during the lunch rush....each time they had someone in the back doing prep rather than helping the line move quickly... ***Note, this location is very very heavy handed on use of oil & vinegar if you get it mikes way...the older gentleman who is always at this location literally soaks everything in low quality blended oil...be sure to get a bunch of extra napkins!!*** I had a coupon from the on-line club and after I handed it to the sandwich artist(older gentleman), he told me my total and I handed them my card...I asked if I could scan my card to get the points for my purchase and the man says "Your suppose to do that before you pay..." in a rude tone! I was very nice and said I'm sorry can we do it after... This guy should not be dealing with customers...he has zero people skills and a bad attitude...you should be asking people if they have the rewards card or would they like to join the email club, not be short with someone who already gives business to your company! When I preorder (online) with specific instructions on sandwich prep and the employees do not bother to follow those instructions, I find myself more than a little preturbed. When I walk into a location that is empty of customers and the 2 employees are sitting down relaxing and they get the order wrong I get a bit pissed. Ok I finally found a Jersey mikes that was safe by my standards. We love this place all 3 employees had on their masks and gloves and they were very polite! I stopped in this Jersey Mikes while in Arden working on a project. The day of my visit there were a good number of customers in the shop, but the employees were pretty efficient & got us in and out quickly. One small complaint is that the booths could have been a little cleaner... however with as busy as they were right at noon, I am not surprised that they didn't have time to clean them between customers. Just moved to the area so I dont have everything unpacked and wanted a sanwhich. I went up to Jersey Mikes and ordered my sub. When I got to where they were gonna dress my sub Instarted rattling off what I wanted. The girl there was really cold and both of the workers acted like they hated being there. When we got done with what I wanted the girl said "next time, ask for it Mike's way, it'll be easier for the both of us." Pft..First off I haven't been to a Jersey Mikes because I am a Lenny's fan. I don't know what to ask for. And secondly, there isn't gonna be a next time. I'll make the drive into Asheville to get my sub from Lenny's just to be treated with respect. Apparently masks are optional at this location. Was waiting outside for around ten minutes and these folks never wrote a mask inside the store. They were still inside when I drove off. This is a good location and also extremely busy during the month of December due to its proximity to shopping centers. Honestly there's no reason to even venture to this area in December unless your wife drags you. Even though the place was packed the employees were working incredibly hard. I don't think I've ever seen someone slice meat that fast lol. And they all still had a pretty friendly demeanor despite the amount of crazed and hungry holiday shoppers in line. Where is the adult at this location?! It's a bunch of slovenly dressed emo kids with no supervision. The store is always dirty and at least once a month the store smells of rotten food. There is no sense of urgency during rush times, no teamwork or communication either. Just FYI the hat is not supposed to be a fashion statement. It's to help hold hair in place and off the food so when your messed up hair dangles into the food, it kinda defeats the purpose. No wonder people are leaving reviews of food poisoning, not surprising in the least. read more

My daughter ordered her first (and last) Philly Cheese Steak sub last week. 40 minutes after she ate it, she was vomiting. Became feverish and fainted. Later that evening she started to have bloody stools. Obviously FOOD POISONING! That sub cost her a trip to the urgent clinic. She is still trying to recover. This was the sorriest sub I have ever gotten. Went there with my husband and friend and the bread was so hard we couldn't bite it much less chew it. I got the tuna and I think they dragged the bread through the tuna and forgot to leave any on there. We spent over $40.00 for the 3 of us and it ended up in the trash. Will NEVER go back there again. Worst Jersey Mikes I've ever experienced. Out of convenience, I come to this location expecting a better experience and that never happens. On 4/8/21 I visit yes this location and order the Big Kahuna, I was very clear about what I wanted on my sub and what I absolutely could not have. The manager, bearded male working was the one taking my order and dressing my sandwich. He basically disregarded my allergy for jalapeños because their were a lot on my sub. When I took my sub back in to explain to someone working that it had jalapeños on it and I can't have them because of an allergy they asked me what else I wanted and never apologized, never said hey let me get my manager nothing and then I waited another 20 minutes inside of the store for my sandwich to be remade. No one acknowledged me and addressed the issue. Also, the front door is open all day and I feel that may be a health code violation, not sure. This manager has to do better! This isn't the first time I've had to ask for my sandwich to be remade. I won't be back at this location but will drive further to another one. read more

Big Kahuna Philly Cheese Steak sub is to die for. I only eat there a few times a year, otherwise I'd be big as a bear. I usually have a email coupon when I go, so the price isn't too much, especially for how good the sub is. That BKPCS sub is the only one I ever eaten, so I can't review any other on the menu. WTF I paid almost 8 bucks for what looked like a 6 inch sub, whatever their middle size is. Driving home I was angry at myself, for like 4 bucks more I could have gotten the big one, I felt stupid. I also though I just paid ridicules money for a tiny sub that was going to leave me wanting more food. I arrived home and angrily opened my new purchase along with a beer and everything changed with the first bite. The combination of flavors, the quality of the meats, cheese, vegies and seasonings was perfect.
