Ordered a Margherita Pizza, Cheesy Pi Bread and The Supremes pizza. My daughter's Margherita Pizza arrived... and then nothing. Everyone who came in after us received their food, meanwhile we were still waiting. Almost an hour after ordering we had to advise an employee about our missing food. The person checked on our order and was extremely apologetic, refunded our bill and had our order remade. While waiting a second time for our order, the entire dining area could hear someone addressing issue with staff, who deserved to be reprimanded as it appeared staff were not meeting expectations (my husband was told staff "accidentally" gave our food away?). We didn't have an issue with the food--it was hot, delicious and fairly good representation of Detroit style--however, we were disappointed on length of the time it took to get to enjoy a small taste of home. read more

Service and ambiance worked out overall. I got my hands on the Cheeseburger Pi on a GF crust and DF cheese instead of cheddar, along with ground beef, bacon, white onions, pickles, ketchup, mustard, and mayo. It was enjoyable flavor-wise, but if there was anything I would have changed, the crust could have been a bit crisper and the ketchup, mustard and mayo could have been stirred into a burger sauce, which would have improved the flavor and made the whole thing taste like a good old smash burger with bacon. My mother and I got a recommendation to go here so we went and arrived around 7 o'clock. We ordered and the cashier didn't know how work the register and took about 10 minutes to put our order in. We go sit down and where waiting about 10 minutes (normal time for a slow night) there where only my mother and I and another couple in the restaurant at the time. A young man running the register came to our table to tell us an update on our food "It will be about 10 more minutes" we said okay sounds good. All of the sudden a women in red-ish hair brings out someone's food and another women with black hair come running out screaming at her. We didn't think anything of it. We waited over an hour on a night that was not busy at all for our food. We decided to get up and leave. As we get up to leave a sheriff comes walking in demanding to see the manger. We ordered delivery with Uber eats. They didn't give us the soda we ordered with the special and didn't bother to contact us to say they were out of coke. I would've taken sprite but anyway we ordered 2 square pizza's. One pizza was a make your own and the other was in a special with wings and soda. The pineapple and ham pizza didn't have enough toppings on it so it tasted like a cheese pizza. The pepperoni pizza was ok but I wouldn't order a square one again too much bread. I don't know why they put a glop of tomato paste on them cause it's not something we enjoyed. I got takeout/pick-up from them this weekend. Granted, I ordered a small "Boozy BBQ" pizza (it's just for me), the box looked sadly small and contained four rectangular slices. At over $20 + tip, that's more than $5 per slice. It was good; but not THAT good. Plus it wasn't even delivered; I spent over 25 mins of my life picking it up and it was barely warm once it finally made it to my kitchen. Well this our second order and our second review. Took the first review down because the owner said they were dealing with employee issues. Well, the second order was NO better than the first. Ordered the Supremes the first time around, with almost no toppings . Owner said it was employee issues. That was over a month ago. Tonight ordered the 'meat pie'. Not sure it qualified as advertised as having all the meats. Anyway, we gave this place and owner the respect to order again. No better product than the first time. So I would say buyer beware. I love the location in Hendersonville!! This location in Arden is not nearly as good. I'm not sure of their dough proofing process but my deep dish wasn't very deep dish and it was very chewy. Possibly not proofed long enough for the yeast to allow the dough to rise? Same with the pi bread. Hubby got a hand tossed round and I ended up eating part of his because mine was inedible. I think I'll just keep driving the extra distance from here on out. I ordered off Uber eats and with the inflated prices and a tip it cost me $65 for 1 edible pizza and 2 drinks. What a lovely surprise. Discovered purely by accident on 13 June 2023, when other places for a multi-family get-together in the area were closed. This location is in the same parking lot as the 'planet fitness' on Hendersonville Road. The entire staff could not have been more friendly and treated all of the customers the same. At least one of them came out and checked on every table every 10 minutes or so, depending on the number of to-go orders. The food was full of flavor, not too spicy, and the cheese bread sticks and custard were good too. If you leave hungry -- it's your own fault! Definitely going to visit them again. read more
