We ordered takeout.. it was okay. We ordered a cheese pizza and a lasagna meal that came with a extremely small salad. Order was ready when they said it would be but nothing was stand out. The cheese pizza was just okay and the lasagna was pretty much just noodles with some sauce very little cheese except on top. Really solid pizza spot with fantastic service and no problems with special orders like Gluten Free and Dairy Free. My family was visiting and called ahead to our traditionL pizza spot and what the heck, they were out of pizza dough. No problem, Pepperoni's had all the pizza we wanted. It is located in a partially filled strip mall on the West side of Black mountain, with about a dozen tables and some mighty fine and friendly service. Our group ordered a Greek Salad with amazing homemade Greek dressing, a Hawaiian pizza which got raves, a pepperoni pizza which my son loved and a Gluten Free, Dairy Free Kitchen Sink (kind of like an everything bagel pizza). The accommodations for dairy were not a problem and the GF crust was thin and tasty if not a tad dry. We get pizza here every year when we go up for a weekend get away with our kids, typically 8 of us. Nothing super high end here but for good pizza, wings, and salads that are better than dominos, etc., this is the place. About anywhere I get takeout for 8 people, they mess something up. Not this place, always spot on and on top of their game. Makes for a great evening dinner when the family just wants to stay in. They have options for everyone including vegetarian and such. Only complaint I would have is they offer mild wings and stupid hot (their words, not mine). Wish they had a normal hot, the stupid hot is too hot and the mild is just too bland. A hop, skip, and a jump from the KOA East Asheville in Swannanoa. The restaurant is short staffed these days, like just about everywhere else. Still, the Veggie pizza was chock full of veggies and a great quick take-out dinner to eat while holed up in the RV in a storm. But the true winner of the night was the small Apple Cinnamon dessert pizza we ordered. Warm soft baked apples topped with streusel, drizzled with icing, and generously dressed in cinnamon from crust to crust. It's like the dessert pizza you may have had at a chain pizza place (Cici's, Mr Gatti's, etc) except dialed up to 11. So. Freaking. Good. So if you're in the Swannanoa / Black Mountain area (whether it be on vacay like I was, or as a fortunate local), I think you have a great pizza option in Pepperoni's. One word to describe Pepperoni's......DELICIOUS!! My family and I were visiting Black Mountain and stumbled upon Pepperoni's. My children split a cheese pizza, while I had the Pig and Cow pizza and wings. The food was so good! The only thing that could be improved was the amount of time it took to get our food finished. We arrived when we were told it would be ready and had to wait an additional 10-15 minutes for the order to finish. This was an excellent experience and we can't wait to eat here again! read more

We usually go to a different pizza place in town but they were closed. The pizza was just okay not horrible but not great. The sauce is quite bland and the staff was not super friendly although they seemed to be happy to be there. They were very friendly to each other just not to customers. They had personal pizzas thats great since we were traveling. Our waitress was great , I ordered the Hawaiian pizza an fried pickles . My friend ordered the cheese pizza an garlic knots. We both agreed the pizzas were great good crust an perfect portion for toppings. My fried pickles were so good it was almost like they were double battered so good. Now the garlic knots we didn't like ,they were very dry for some reason. If your in the mood for pizza stop here an visit their friendly staff an great pizza. We were driving home from Asheville to the Raleigh area and wanted a place to eat along the way that wasn't fast food. My husband came across this place while searching for some options. Although it isn't right off of the highway - it is worth the few extra minutes out of your way. We ordered the Teriyaki Pizza and the fruit and nut salad. I LOVE the crust of the pizza. The chicken and broccoli were good but the teriyaki sauce was a little too salty for me. I think if the chicken was grilled in Teriyaki instead of it being poured over the crust it might be better. However, they had excellent choices of specialty pizzas. But save room for dessert. They have custom dessert pizzas - I had to try the Pineapple Upside Down Pizza and it did not disappoint! It was delicious! One of the best parts about this place was all the positive messages posted on the walls even in the restrooms. Our server did a great job and you could tell by her demeanor with other customers that this is a place that draws some "regulars". As far as pizza goes it is decent, although nothing to write home about. We ordered the kitchen sink. It was alright but towards the center was pretty soggy. We wouldn't order it again because we didn't care for the flavor or the sogginess. We also got a meatball pizza which was not good at all. The meatballs were awful tasting and honestly smelled a lot like dog food. A plain cheese pizza was very good. Where this pizza place stood out was their wings. They were meaty, well cooked and delicious. We did get skimped by one wing though that looked like it was a broken off piece of bone, with no meat that they must have counted as a wing. Also out of our 12 wings we only got 3 flats, which was a bummer for me because I prefer flats. Overall, I'd come here again for cheese pizza or wings. read more

2/15/2022 We were staying at the KOA in one of the cabins. We called this place for dinner because they deliver. We ordered the chicken parmigiana, chicken wings, and a pizza ($31.01). I was told an hour, but it was only 30 minutes. I signed the credit card receipt and tipped the delivery driver $5. Low and behold... when we opened up the bags, there wasn't one napkin or fork! The only thing I have is a plastic knife to scrap the dog food can... we have nothing on us but dog food and sleeping bags! I called back and said they forgot the utensils and napkins. The girl (who turned out to be the manager) stated they only supply them when the customer asks. How am I supposed to know that?... It's an order to go! She stated she would send the delivery guy back with them. After 30 minutes, I called back and asked where utensils were? That when things turned nasty! She acted like it my fault my food is cold because I didn't ask for utensils! She acted like an immature 8th grader and her sh!t doesn't stink! She hung up on me. I called back and now requested a refund on the basis of cold food and nothing to eat it with! She hung up on me again! A few minutes later, the delivery guy shows up with 2 little packs of plastic knife/fork/ and a single napkin? I looked at him and asked where the rest of it was... I have chicken wings and I'm supposed to use "this?" He just turned away without saying anything and drove off! Well the bottom line was the chicken parmigiana was good, the pizza was so-so, and the wings were grossly over cooked! This place may have good reviews, but their service, manners, and mutual respect sure fall short of any standard! I'll never eat that food again! We were staying nearby and stopped in for a quick meal. The place was clean. I ordered the garlic knots for my appetizer... they seemed fresh baked and not overly garlicky. Good amount of butter and the marinara was tasty! For my main I ordered the wings... 1/2 buffalo and 1/2 lemon pepper. They were delicious! The lemon pepper was a dry rub and they had just the right amount. For the buffalo I got medium because when I asked about their stupid hot option I was warned. I got some of that sauce on the side and it was pretty darn hot. I would have regretted getting all my wings dipped in that pain sauce. Others at my table got the BBQ wings which were good, and the pepperoni pizza which was also good. Service was alittle slow but not terrible. The major disappointment this night was that upon check in on Yelp I was offered a free appetizer but the waitress would not accept it. She claimed that they had no affiliation with Yelp and they had no idea where that came from. As of today I can see the "Claimed" logo at the top of the page but I'm not sure if it was claimed at the time of my visit. One star removed. read more
