My family and I stopped at Culver's while traveling, and it was such a great experience from start to finish! The staff were incredibly friendly, the food came out quickly, and everything was absolutely delicious. Because of how wonderful our first visit was, we made it a point to stop again on our way back home. It did not disappoint! Consistency like that really stands out. We especially want to recognize Joseph for making the ordering process so easy, answering all of our questions, and providing such a warm, friendly experience. I have been reading a lot of online fast food reviews, and Culver's always seems to end up in the top two or three, so I've been anxious to give them a try. Today I found myself near the one local store we hvae in Asheville, so I headed over there for a late lunch. For getting there at 2pm I was surprised the parking lot was so full - usually a good sign. There was a very short line, my wait to order was less than 3 minutes. the store was exceedingly clean and the staff was very friendly. I ordered a bacon deluxe, onion rings, and a caramel shake, then found a booth in a quiet corner. My lunch was delivered surprisingly quickly for having been cooked to order. My burger was great. The meat was tasty and well cooked, the bacon still had a bit of chew to it rather than being overly crisped, the tomato was good, the lettuce had some crunch. Best true fast food burger I've had in some time. A definite 5. The onion rings were good but not great. Crispy outside, but not much onion inside. The shake was very good, tasty, and about as thick as you can yet without needing a spoon. If it was closer to my house than a 30 minute drive I would be a regular customer. I'll certainly keep my eyes open for their restaurants in my travels. Wish I could give 4 1/2 stars, it was definitely better than a 4, but not quite a 5. read more

I'm pretty upset. Culvers is known for good food and good customer service. Well this wasn't true. I spent a little over $17 bucks for a fried cod meal. I ordered the 2 piece and what I got was a small piece and the other wasn't even a piece. I have ordered this before and got 2 nice big pieces and for $17 bucks I expected the same. As you can see in the picture it was so different than advertised. The fish was a little dry and overcooked. As if it had been there for some time. The bread roll was dry and the mashed potatoes dry as well. For that price I was expecting more. Culvers you are definitely failing and I'm not coming here again. read more

Awful parking lot setup. The drive through (Sunday around 2pm) was so hectic and moving super slow. The worker on drive was super friendly, took out order speedy and then was very kind at the window, but we did wait quite a while for our food! They forgot our forks for our salads so make sure you check your bags before you drive off! My cheeseburger was cold after the 10 minute drive home, and it honestly was very bland despite adding "everything" for my condiments. Custard was good as always! read more

This was my first time eating at a Culver's. We have one where I live in Panama City Beach , Florida but I never ate there. Don't know why... just never happened. This place is great. After you order you pick your drink. They give you a numbered placard for your table and It's so crowded I don't know how they find you to bring you your lunch. My Mom and I really enjoyed the burgers and fries here. I'm a dedicated In n Out fan when I'm out west. But, this was great. The lady that served us was so nice and friendly. She made me want to come back agAin. She seemed to know other patrons that were all eating across from me. There must be a lot of regulars there. Last night my grandson and i went out after the rodeo and he wanted to go to Culver's so we went and it was the second time this week and i was very disappointed for the second time this week. Their menu use to be about burgers but know they are all over the place and don't know who they are as far as the menu . We waited over 25 min for our food and when i went back to the counter it was lime they didn't care. The order was on the screen but they just skipped over it. They didn't apologize or offer any compensation for the mistake and ten min later we received our food! So a total of 35min we waited. So again i don't like to do bad reviews but the food was not up to par for what I expect from Culver's each time i went this week also . The TV should be on March Madness during this time of the year also! I suggest not to order anything but the ice cream! read more

During the last few months of eating at this Culver's location I've experienced different kinds of turtle sundaes. Please make sure all of the ingredients are in these sundaes; tonight I was served a one scoop turtle sundae with only the vanilla and chocolate custard and nothing else. Mostly good food (though last time I got an inedible bone-like structure in my spicy chicken sandwich), but the curbside pickup is awful. I have never gotten my order by the indicated pickup time when I place a pickup order. Tonight, it took half an hour past the indicated pickup time, and it was only brought out when I called the store about the order, when it then magically immediately came out. I understand it's busy, but don't indicate a pickup time that is never correct. When the guy brought the order out to me, there was no apology, just excuses ("it just now came out"). Truly wish it could be zero stars. Had a curbside pickup order that still hasn't been delivered to me (over 20 minutes past pick up time now). In addition to the ridiculous wait time, the pick up spots and drive-thru parking spaces are right as you turn in (which is right in front of the drive-thru). It turns the entire area into a nightmare situation for coming and going and it's NOT worth the wait or the stress. Edit: went inside following 30 minutes of waiting outside and the worker at the counter acted like it was my fault our order had been sitting there. Unbelievable. One of my favorite fast food restaurants while on the road. The burgers are consistent. The crinkled cut fries are great if you ask for them extra crispy. The food was hot. That's the best that can be said about this experience. The lackluster, apathetic teen working the counter for carry out was as slow as Christmas and about as customer friendly as a cardboard cut out. He gave us 2 napkins for 3 burgers, fries, and a concrete mixer. Two napkins. My burgers were supposed to come with ketchup. They didn't. There was also no ketchup in the bag. The burger was so bland and flavorless that I wished I'd gone to Wendy's. Seriously - I've had better burgers at concert venues. The concrete mixer was watery and devoid of requested toppings. I definitely forgot to get a picture of my food! BUT let me start off by saying i LOVED walking into this Culver's and being greeted with a nice loud "Welcome to Culver's" LOVED IT! The young man who took my order was new and i was his 6th order and he was extremely excited and was like "I'm doing good!" It was great to see young people excited about working. Have been to this location many times to pick up the lunch order from work. Food is always great and service was always really good before. Last visit the service was terrible. The cashier was extremely rude, completely condescending and down right hateful. I had like 10 orders and she wouldn't help with getting the drinks ready. Just handed me the cups. Here I thought coming inside would be easier than doing it through the drive through. I was met with the poorest service and attitude I've ever experienced. Called the corporate number to let them know how it went. They didn't seem to really care. Left my number if the franchisee or manager wanted to reach out. Never heard anything else. Okay so after waiting 30 min in the drive thru, an employee came up to my car with the wrong order. When I told her that it was the wrong order, she rolled her eyes at me. I felt very strange. Most of the time, I really like this place. I like the burgers a lot. Driving through, I often don't get what I ask for (for instance, requested extra mayo will be left out) and since the drive through is almost always crowded and slow -- would be a pain to go through just for that. Our local store has a horrible parking setup. If the store is busy the drive through lane blocks people (who eat in) from being able to move their cars and it's just a mess. Man a lot of good things to be said about this place; Starting off, came in on a busy Saturday afternoon, was hard to find parking, massive line in the drive thru but we were able to park and make our way in. I've known this location to be here for a few years; to say I was impressed with how clean things were behind the counter was an understatement. I've been a chef/short order cook for 10 years and know exactly how difficult it is to keep a restaurant clean; it's a team effort front to back; kudos to the staff here, you guys have done a great job at keeping things clean. Next thing I noticed, you have about 12-15 employees that are Safe-Serve certified!!! Congrats!!! This is wonderful knowing I can come here and safe food handling practice is being taken care of; I eat out a lot and you can honestly tell who's doing the right things and who isn't; you guys are. Definitely a step above typical fast food. The restaurant is kept perfectly clean and has a plenty of seating. While ordering is done at the counter, meals are served at the tables.
