The men and women working at five guys were courteous to myself as well as my kiddo we ordered and we're in and out in less than seven minutes. I understand it was a little after the dinner rush, but I could not have dealt with nicer servers or people. The one thing I will say that has changed as they put fries in a bag as opposed to putting them in a cup and I find that to be a little bizarre. I'm sure it saves the money, but there's nothing Like getting a cup of fries and knowing that there's a whole bunch of fries at the bottom of the bag, but now a mini bag of fries inside bag, the magic seems to dwindle. Went there again! I Got a cheese hotdog with grilled onions ! Pure perfection! So good! My fiancée got himself a fully loaded cheeseburger with bacon! We also got original & Cajun fries!! The fries were really fresh and what we love is they cook everything made to order! We know the fries aren't always but this time they were fresh!!! The service is good because they do cook and take orders so no issues at all! If eating in, it's a good private dining experience and you get refills on your drinks and free condiments! I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with mustard and jalapeno. The burger doesn't come with and never has come with barbecue sauce or lettuce . Somehow my burger has both items I never asked for. I know times are hard, but I really wish people would take their jobs more seriously. Regardless of what you're doing, it's what you're getting paid to do. So you should be giving it your 100%. The staff at this location (at least the staff today) are exceptionally unprofessional and just present a very dirty and careless demeanor. First impressions are important, and this isn't a good one. The team is yelling nonsense slurs to each other, putting their gloved hands in their mouth, eating off the counter, being exceptionally loud. One associate's personal hygiene is questionable, based on his presentation. I really don't want him near my food. He's openly and LOUDLY talking about his criminal record and is OBVIOUSLY a sketchy individual. There is a younger gentleman who is following health guidelines and not participating in the unprofessional and immature behavior of the majority of the staff. (Curly blueish hair.) I'm grateful for him! I've noticed as I've been sitting here waiting that some of the other staff seems as though they might be uncomfortable with this man's poor behavior. He does not need to be working with the public. He is the one who took my order. I cannot imagine this is the actual name of the farm where the potatoes were sourced from today, but I could be wrong. Each visit, it's difficult to decide which is better; the fresh hot fries or the burger, made to order. This trip they both hit the spot. Coke products, brewed iced tea and don't forget the complimentary peanuts! This location has tight parking, but worth the wait. Or choose to park outside their realm. Some larger vehicles should consider that option. Friendly staff, one of the few dining spots that genuinely cares about service in these chaotic times. read more

Stopped into this Five Guys location on the way from Asheville to Atlanta. Not necessarily in a burger mood at the time of the visit, but Five Guys is always pretty solid and this was no exception. Due to the holiday there was no lunch rush so we ordered pretty instantly. The decor was standard Five Guys with that red and white checkered 50's-style diner-esque styling. What I thought was cool is the beer they sold on tap had those cups withe the magnets on them that you stick to the tap and it pours it from the bottom up and somehow doesn't leak out the bottom. I ordered a cheeseburger and small fries- remember, a small fry isn't really a small because they dump 15 pounds of extra spuds in the bag. The cheeseburger was cooked well done which is the only way they cook their burgers. The orders were coming out of the kitchen one right after the other. They were on it. And did it with a smile. This particular burger was messier than normal. It completely fell apart so became something I picked through by the end of it, still tasty, but really messy. Overall a good representation of the Five Guys brand. Pleasant experience and yes, they have those peanut shells here too. read more

Stopped by today for a quick hamburger and fries. The hamburgers are always good and beware of the french fries - the sizes fool you - a small is big enough to share. But the fries are great - like home made fries. I found this Five Guys to have great customer service - inside the place was clean. The outside tables could have defiantly been cleaner - I guess no one cleans them - not bad but it would have left a better impression if I had not had to clean the table. I have been to several different 5 Guys Burgers and Fries and they are all consistently good. We went with a group of 6 and they did made mistakes on 2 of the orders as far as the toppings requested on the burgers, but they corrected the problems right away. The order was filled pretty quickly and the free self-serve peanuts are always a nice touch. The burgers were all hot and juicy. I personally got grilled onions on mine and they were divine! The fries were fresh and hot. Actually, we had to let them cool down a bit before we could eat them. The employees were friendly and greeted us as soon as we walked in. It's a fast food place but they were not just bored kids behind a counter. The prices are inline with other fast food places but the burgers are a step above most. It's funny how you stumble upon things unexpectedly. I got a little turned around over by Merrimon after doing a good deed for someone, and as I was driving noticed a Five Guys sign. My stepdad has told me about the wonders of Five Guys, and one actually opened up on island before I moved, but I had never gotten to experience it myself. I gratefully accept your offer. Now, in Hawaii before I left, the line for the grand opening WAS INSANE. The price of the burgers, equally insane (cuz secluded paradise). I walked in around 1pm and had two people in front of me, and plenty of open seating. Nice red, black, and white diner theme with peanuts everywhere that you can help yourself to. All the faces behind the counter were smiling and it was just a great energy that I hope has continued on past opening day. If you haven't been to a five guys, you order either a burger or a little burger, difference being a double or single patty. Little cheeseburger for me, thaaank you. Then you get to decide from quite an array of toppings- I chose lettuce and jalapeños. Which were fresh and HOT. Good thing I got a shake with that too- chocolate banana, no whip. And finally the fries! I ordered the "little" fries which were still overflowing and enough for 2 people. I can't imagine how much come in a regular order! It did not disappoint- this meal was friggen delicious! Those fries were cooked perfectly and the shake a great consistency. I left completely satisfied. Some may think it's a little pricey, but I feel like it's worth the price.
