AMAZING!!! Today I had the purifying facial with Lindsey and it was wonderful! It started with a relaxing foot soak with fruits, kelp and turmeric. Some of the things that made this a really stand-out experience were that Lindsey makes her own masks that she uses. She uses seasonal, organic and local (when available) ingredients - it smelled so delicious! One of the 2 masks she used on me today was Starfruit, Papaya, Turmeric and Yogurt. She also takes the time to explain WHY this is the right one for you. I opted for the hand massage and for that she used another in-salon made concoction (she called it Andrew's blend). I know it had cocoa butter and vanilla in it, and again - it smelled so good! During the massage, she also used aromatherapy and pressure points - it was divine. I really can't think of anything else I would've wanted done during our appointment. Since I was going in for the facial, I also decided to have her wax my brows. They've been quite neglected lately and she gave me a great consultation and we came up with a "brow-plan"! She was exacting and definitely had a plan that she explained to me as we went along. Idunn Salon and Spa is a gem. It is easy to get to from almost anywhere in the city and there is always free parking close by. I love getting facials from Lindsey. She takes her time and is extremely thorough. Her voice is always so calm and I love that she explains what she is doing. She is very knowledgeable and I always leave there feeing like I know my skin better. I also just got eyelash extensions from her. They have lasted for about three weeks now and I love that I have the option of getting them filled every 1-3 weeks for a very reasonable price. Andrew has cut and colored my hair for about six years now. Sometimes I know exactly what I want and Andrew is really good at listening and has always been able to create exactly what I had in mind. I have also gone in craving a change and I have trusted Andrew to use his skills to give me a new look (and I have never been disappointed). The space is also very relaxing and clean. I used to go to Erin when she worked at Radar Hair and Records and followed her to Idunn. She's THAT amazing! (Just check out the Yelp reviews she received from Radar, that's how I found her). Super talented (check!), personable, friendly, down-to-earth (check, check, check.) My hair always looks great; she's up on all the cool stuff and has a way of knowing what I want when I don't know what I want. She's done my hair for years now and all sorts of ways. I always love my hair & I also love talking to her. Last time I went to her, she gave me really pretty highlights and bangs, which are getting rave reviews from my most stylish friends. This place is small and friendly, non-descript, in a really scenic part of Queen Anne. There's street parking right outside. Erin informed me that they also do waxing and facials and stuff, so you can go in and get it all done. In short, I love it and so will you. read more

I got a haircut with Andrew and a facial with Lindsey and both services were amazing! Andrew was so great, he took my outgrown mess of hair and made it gorgeous! This is easily the best haircut I have ever had. The facial with Lindsey was my very first facial, and it was so wonderful. The room was very clean and private, and the bed was super comfortable. She was thorough and relaxing the entire time, and I felt like completely rejuvenated afterwards. My face felt amazing! I will be going back for more services, for sure. Parking was easy (and this is coming from someone who lives on the Eastside, haha) and the salon/spa was beautifully decorated. I would highly recommend! read more

I had an appointment with Erin and she did a FANTASTIC job. She is so precise when it comes to cutting fine hair, she checks every strand to be certain it's ALL even. Erin's other AMAZING specialty is color/highlights. She's easy to talk to, pleasant and she's an excellent hair stylist. I've been going to Erin for a few months and I used to go to Ulta. Recently, I've been going to Idunn Salon and I LOVE the place. It's inviting, homey and really comfortable and located in Queen Anne which is a very quaint town. I've been to Idunn twice now to see Lindsey for a brow wax, lash extensions, and a facial. I couldn't be more thrilled with my services. The Salon looks great and parking is a breeze. My first visit was for lash extensions and they looked great -upon completion she suggested a brow wax which was a great idea, don't want to show people you're beautiful lashes if your brows are a mess. My second visit was today for a facial. She makes a weekly mask in house, this week's was a pear and thistle, it felt and smelled amazing. This salon is wonderful! I went to Lindsey for brow waxing, brow tinting and a facial. First, my brows have never looked better. Lindsey matched my hair color perfectly, and the shaping was superb. I had never had a facial before and was always a little hesitant because I have rosacea. Lindsey was amazing. She used methods that didn't aggravate my rosacea while helping to clear out my problem spots. The room was calm and relaxing and the quince basil mask was wonderful. I have fine hair that I color now that I am on the road to grey hair. I have tried many different stylists and never could find one that could help me find the right color for my pale skin. Megan helped me figure out the perfect color for my pale complexion that looks fabulous. I have been getting compliments from everyone at work! Also, she is really sweet and a pleasure to deal with. I go to Idunn Salon to see The Pink Haired Lady, Aka Megan. If you're the type of person who knows nothing about hair and just want to feel pretty, you must go see her! She has an eye for great hair and makes you feel amazing while doing it. If you're the type of person who knows what they want, even better. Andrew has been managing my thin, fine hair since 2008 and I am so thankful! He also cuts my two boys' hair. I came to Idunn salon To see Lindsey for eyelash extensions. The salon/spa Had a great atmosphere and was very comfortable. Lindsey greeted me with a smile and we went to a separate room that was comfy and clean!!! My lashes look great and I've gotten many compliments! After two weeks my eyelashes are still completely in tact and I fall more in love with them everyday! I will def go back to see Lindsey. What an amazing experience! I recently went to the spa and had a massage from Lindsey. She greeted me in the serene and relaxing spa area. I sat back in a cushy chair where I started my spa treatment with an herbal foot soak. I moved on to my 90 minute massage. Talk about magic fingers.
