Huge improvements! I had been here when it was a big room filled with people getting foot massages in the open, and was not a fan. My wife convinced me to come back and try it again, and when we arrived, they had the whole place partitioned off into private (heavy curtain walls) rooms - that was the first upgrade. Enter the store quietly, and you won't disturb anyone getting massages - they can hear you a little bit through the soft walls. The kicker is that they now do full body massage for $70/hour, and they're great! Be specific about the pressure, because the techniques they use can hurt where you have bone. It's nice to have a different technique sometimes, which is why I have two places I go. They will find where you are tense and hurting and spend the time to work it out. My neck and back are a mess, and they work out the knots and kinks - I leave feeling great. This place and Urban Calm are my two go-to's in downtown Seattle, and I've lived here 20 years. read more

Not what it used to be. Gone are the days of affordable foot massages. Prices are now $70/hour for either the clothed foot massage or a full body massage. I'd be happy to pay this price if the quality matched. It doesn't. While it had some good moments, the massage overall was not worth it. He spent maybe 10 minutes on my back, which is where I needed it most. At the end, the guy just left the room. Usually they say "Thank you. Finished." He'd left 3 times during the massage to get a hot towel and some hot water for the foot soak, so I thought maybe he'd come back. We weren't even at the 60 minute mark yet. So after awkwardly laying there for 5 minutes, I finally got up and got dressed. The only positive thing about this place is that they are open late and you can go in last minute. First of all, apparently finding a good massage spot in Seattle is hard. I read reviews, called around for an hour and everyone was overpriced, didn't have private rooms, crazy mixed reviews or just didn't pick up their phones. I booked an appointment for my brother and I about 45 minutes before and they attended us right on time. Service and massage quality: They had good communication throughout and asked us the type of pressure we wanted and were attentive to our body language to adjust. They gave my brother some special ointment because he had an injury (I think it was tiger balm or something similar) and he felt a million times better. The pressure was perfect for me too. I'm petite and usually masseuses think I can't handle pressure and when I tell them I want more, they do too much and they don't know how to adjust to medium pressure. We tipped well bc we were very satisfied, but they didn't seem to expect it, which was nice. Hate feeling pressured when you're signing the bill. Atmosphere: It's not a luxury spa, but definitely still has a warm and dim vibe that is very relaxing and they have bins and a rack for you to leave your clothes. I used to go here every couple of months pre-pandemic. It was an amazing deal- $35 before tip for an hour long massage with lots of foot stuff. The downside was that there was no privacy, and it was usually 4 or 5 other people in the room getting a massage. But still, it was totally worth it- can't afford regular massages unless they are this inexpensive. I went back for the first time in several years, and immediately saw that the prices are now $70, before mandatory tip. I would not have gone if I had known this, but since I was already there and really needed a massage, I went for it. They now only have private rooms, which is much nicer, and you don't soak your feet in hot water- they use hot towels. I had the best massage I've ever had at this place- a very strong medium strength as requested. In the past you never knew how good the massage was going to be, but you would only be out $40 and a bad massage is still better than no massage. So I can't totally recommend anymore as it has gotten so expensive. I mean, I always felt bad and tipped well before, because it seemed pretty exploitive to pay so little. And when a Chinese massage is done well (lots of heat, rubbing, percussion), it can be incredibly restorative if you can tolerate it. I think if I was sure I would get an excellent Chinese massage I would pay these higher prices again, so maybe I will give them another try. I knew the $35 massage was too good to last, and for health reasons they can't crowd the place anymore and have high volume to keep prices down. read more

My friend and I had a wonderful experience at Two Smiling Feet. Everything was clean and all the staff were incredibly courteous. The ambiance and music were great, and they put me and my friend in a curtained area so we had privacy. Lucas was my masseuse really made sure to thoroughly work the muscles and pressure points that needed massaging the most, while still taking care of the rest of my body. I have chronic back and neck issues and felt that he relieved almost all of the tension by the end of the hour, a tough thing to do! An intense 60-minute massage for $35? Yes, please. Once you enter, they show you to a cot where you remove your shoes, coat, purse, whatever. Lie down on your back while they soak your feet in a tub of extremely hot water. They start with your face (mostly forehead), head, ears, then move to your hands, fingers, arms, then feet, toes, legs, then you flip over and they work on your upper back, lower back, back of your legs, then neck, then voila, you're done! I find the back and neck massage to be the most painful but at that point, you're laying face down with your head in the hole in the massage table, facing the ground, so you can make any kind of horrible grimace you want and they won't be able to see you. At the end, they nudge you awake, hand you a Dixie cup of water, rush you to the register, and then you're outside in daylight, still trying to put on your shoes. They only have about 300 signs telling you that they prefer to be paid and tipped in cash, so keep that in mind. read more

The price of this place has increased *300%* post-pandemic, which is unreasonable. This is taking into account the mandatory tip of 20-30%, which is boldly posted at the front desk. Mandatory "tipping" is an unacceptable practice because it is actually a surcharge. They should state what the price actually is and let tipping be discretionary. The foot massage was decent but my practitioner understood zero english so there was no way to communicate during the massage, a serious drawback! We got the point across. . Various menu items let you choose different massage preferences. We opted for an hour each and paid $35 and $45 for our massages. There were maybe 9 beds. Keep clothes on so dress comfortably but they did have my teenager take off his shirt and they undid my bra when they worked on my back. Very professional though. We all enjoyed our massages. . Unfortunately I did not have the best experience here. 95% of the massage was good but there was a time when the therapist was squeezing the tops of my shoulders extremely hard. I had asked for medium pressure and this was extreme. I've had hundreds of massages and never had pain that lasted more than a few days (usually no pain) but something about the extremely hard squeezing on the tops of my shoulders and holding my arms behind my back was too much and I'm dealing with very painful muscle spasms a week later and seeing a chiropractor for it. I wish I would have said something in the moment but I didn't. I had a massage from them a few years ago and the pressure was just as I asked. Also, they didn't thank me which is a small detail but it's unprofessional not to thank the customer for their business. read more

How good your experience is here will really depend on your expectations. Here is what to expect: 1. This is not a substitute for a massage by a licensed massage practitioner. But their massages feel good and they're a great way to relax. 2. The massage is the same amount of time on each body part on every person. While you have a choice of which kind of massage to book, once you choose and you're on the table you can't really ask for them to spend more time on one body part even if you realize you need it. They have a set massage routine they do to finish within the time limit and they stick to it. They asked me in the beginning if I wanted a hard or soft massage. I started with soft and they accommodated me when I asked them to change it to harder pressure massage after they started. So they get bonus points for that. I recommend this place for relaxation and stress relief but if you have pain somewhere in your body I recommend a licensed massage practitioner who can customize the massage based on the pain relief you need. read more

This place is decent for a basic chinese massage. They don't ask you to sign a waiver or even circle or indicate what places to focus on during the massage so I don't think they're formally trained. I got the A package which had a 60 min massage for $35 + 20% tip. They prefer payment in cash, but they do have a credit card machine.
