I booked at 60 minutes massage for $60 so the price was decent. What really bothered me was how absolutely noisy it was. I can hear people giggling, shouting, loud bangs and sudden loud noises that made me jump. I could barely think or relax. I thought the window was open to some alleyway but it's just paper thin walls I guess. The massage itself was mediocre and I would rate at 3 stars. The first 15 minutes was her stepping all over me with her feet and using her knees to dig in to my back and legs while she wiggle her legs. This was not comfortable and hurt in all the wrong areas. She then proceeded to use some oil and finally massaged me with her hands and sometimes her elbows. Her style of massage was quick and rapid pulse pushes with her hands and fingers and I really dislike that style. I prefer long deep presses which is more soothing and relieving to me. At times she would receive a phone call and talk to her customers while massaging me at the same time (this happened twice). Or she would sort of shout out behind the curtain when new customers who walked in. This is very unprofessional in my opinion. She was very attentive and with a super nice personality but the massage experience at this place is not for me. I walked out of this place stressed and not at all feeling relaxed. read more

I visited this location on Monday for two 60-minute massages. We were put in separate rooms, and my experience was disappointing from the start. My masseuse kept stopping to answer the phone(with the ringer on, near my ear) and was clearly sick -- coughing, sneezing, and noticeably congested throughout the session. Two days later, I came down with an illness and have since missed work. The massage itself was average at best, and the timing was poorly managed. Shortly after I was turned over, the session ended. Considering the high rating, I expected a professional and relaxing experience, but this was not worth the time or money. I won't be returning. Connie the owner is a very nice lady and is concerned with good customer service . my wife and I got a massage today for 90 minutes and she was gracious enough to extend mine for 30 minutes when I complained about a six dollar charge for using Apple Pay she graciously removed the charge and when I gave her a nice tip, I said I'll go ahead and pay the six dollars because you're customer service is so good and the massage was excellent.. Please call ahead to make a reservation if you can; I did walk-in since I was in the neighbourhood and ended up getting lucky since I wanted a 20 minute head, scalp, & upper body massage. The facility is simple and really clean. It's an extremely small space; upon waking you, you can see the entire layout - there are three private-ish rooms (with curtain dividers), two chairs for foot passage, and two (or three) massage chair spots towards the back. The service I got from the lady I had was amazing and the price is great. She really gave a quality deep tissue massage and she was very nice. Would definitely come back! My scalp felt so much better, as did the knots in my back, particularly my upper shoulderes. My price for the 20 minute head & upper body massage was somehwere between $20-25. Since I was paying by card, I was asked to pay before my service - I didn't have an issue with that as I understood that perhaps folks were getting a service but not paying for it; it was a gamble I was willing to take. I did include a tip on the card on top of that, so the total came out to about ~$35. There is a $2 fee for credit/debit usage but this place is absolutely worth it; bring cash if you can. read more

I walked in on Friday afternoon and waited 20 min for my massage. I didn't get to pick gender of my masseuse and I got a man. I don't usually mind a male masseuse for Chinese massage where I get to keep my clothes on but this place they have you take your shirt off and rub oil on your back so I was a little worried about being exposed. The massage was good. He got all my knots out! The part where I got walked on was a little weird because I don't like the fleshy flat feeling of the bottom of someone's feet on my back. Also the creaky noises of the masseuse hanging from the ceiling gave me anxiety. I may be back because my masseuse was professional but I felt a little miffed when the lady asked me to pay $3 instead of $2 for a credit card transaction. I got a $75 massage. I'm not sure why I was asked to pay $1 more compared to everyone else. Maybe it's based on rough estimate of the percentage? Next time I'll just bring cash. read more

YELP... you've let me down. I'm so disappointed. I've gone to a LOT of these chinese foot massage places. YELP reviews usually help weed out the bad ones. (Nothing less than 4*) I give a lot of leeway to these places because the prices are so inexpensive. I put up with the ringing phone, the talk between the masseuses, the less than relaxing environment. Places like this use to be a great deal: $25, $35 even $40 for an hour. This places charged $90 for 90 minutes... but with all the great reviews I figured it was worth the splurge. BOY OH BOY WAS I DUPED! This place is NOISY NOISY NOISY. Did I say NOISY? omg.... so loud. Bumps and bangs from whatever is above, loud, disruptive talking from the hallway and whatever the business is behind them. Chinese Muzak plays the entire time, and its not spa-like music. Its annoying. The bathroom was in desperate need of attention. No soap, no Toilet paper, every single trash can full and overflowing. Several people walked into the place while I was getting massaged and all the workers/owner greeted them with Hello, loudly, from behind a curtain no less, while massaging me. The phone was ringing constantly and the person who answered the phone answered with a loud voice, talked to potential customers on the phone and in person while working on someone. You could hear their phones dinging with texts and snap chats the whole time. And the massage was mediocre at best. I could have forgiven most of this if the massage was decent... The woman who massaged me kept digging her nails into me on the rare occasion she used her hands. 90% of the massage was her elbow. SAVE YOUR MONEY DON'T BOTHER 15 minutes into the massage I would have walked out, yes, it was that bad... but they make you pay up front. Not a good sign... read more

They mostly focused on my back side when massaging and my massage person knew some pretty good spots and recognized my knots in my back Clearing up the sexual thing: This massage parlor is far from that and they're very professional, kind, and most importantly ASK TO KEEP YOUR UNDERWEAR ON! I have been battling shoulder pain for a few months now, and I decided to give an Asian Massage a try. All three of my shoulder tendons are seriously inflamed, and I had shoulder surgery 20 years ago. The 4 cortisone shots wore off over the last two months, while performing PT. I was desperate, and I gave them a call. Connie said come on down, and I'm so glad I did. Connie is who performed my massage, and I could move my shoulder again, and I literally felt as I did after the shots. I find her services very professional, kind, and well done. I asked how long she has been doing massage, and she has been doing it for over ten years. I have been back, and plan on going in conjunction with Physical Therapy. I have asked if they take insurance, but they don't. I still find value in it out of pocket. As far as the value of the massage, I'd say it is very reasonable at $60 an hour. I have friends who pay $35 as a copay, and they aren't getting the same level of care. If you can get a veteran massage therapist for less, I'd be very surprised. I'm not as well versed as others on this topic, but I'd say I found a great spot for sure. I have no reason to try any others. read more

Typical Asian massage place known for foot massages. They also have chair massage and other massage options like face and scalp massage, which my friends had and enjoyed. I did a 10 min chair massage and 30 min foot massage. Had aches and pains and the massage lady did a good job easing them, though for me, it didn't completely address everything. Couldn't really relax with two different songs being played on two different devices. Whhhhyyyyyyyy. The price was good. If you use card, you'll be charged $2. Spent about $38 for everything including tip. Call before coming in especially during weekends and evenings. We thought we could drop in but were told to come in an hour. They won't exactly start on time. We came on time, and they were still with customers so there was a wait. Also when I called to make reservations, they didn't bother to get my name. Things are run loosely. Parking is available on the street and the lot but they're pricey. Anyways it's decent for a massage pit stop but don't expect a relaxing spa day. read more

There are some pros and cons to this place, but at the end of the day if you have sore muscles and not much money this should do this trick. Pros are that it's cheap, you actually get the length of service you pay for and they don't make you pay for the time to get undressed/dressed, great if you need deep tissue massage. Cons are this is not for relaxation, I knew it wasn't a quiet space before going but it is another thing to experience it, I also didn't know it was deep tissue before she literally climbed on my back, I kept saying to go lighter but it never really got any lighter, wish they'd make that more clear, and last thing is before I left I tipped $5 which I know wasn't much but I didn't particularly enjoy my time there, the therapist stopped me and told me I had to tip more and it wasn't enough, so that was really awkward until I gave her $10. read more

I'd highly recommend this place. It was a great full body deep tissue massage for a reasonable price. My masseuse was very friendly, asked which areas I'd like to focus on, and was great about asking about pressure and adjusting if too weak or strong. Place was clean and they were great about following covid safety measures. Best part was when she dug her knees into my back and the neck and scalp massage. I went here about a week ago and I still feel great. She was able to loosen up many tense muscles, many I didn't know were tense. It takes a lot for me to sit down and write a long review....but not doing so would be a disservice to others: to sum up my experience in the 10-15 mins I was in this place - ...disrespected, judged, demeaned, and poorly treated. If I could I would give it 'NO STAR'. In my attempt to have a relaxing afternoon, I called this place earlier in the day before a workout and secured my appointment. I had a pleasant phone conversation so I was really looking forward to the experience. I showed up right on time and was told to wait until they finished preparing the room. I sat in the waiting area and watched a man being ridiculed by a lady to whom he gave his credit card. She ran his card a few times and told him repeatedly 'no money'. He was extremely calm (at some point he even chuckled), told her the problem was the chip on the card and handed her another card. The second card worked and rather than apologizing and thanking him she handed him his card and disappeared to the back. This should have been a red flag but I waited patiently since I traveled a long way to get there. Once my room was ready a lady (I believe the owner) walked out and asked me to pay first. I asked her why ...and she said they've had bad experiences with people leaving without making payments after receiving services. Finding it rather strange, I did challenge her by asking how she can expect people to pay for something they haven't received and she replied by telling me that they don't provide 'free service' to which I then replied, I didn't intend to receive a free service and expected to pay after. After some back and forth, I handed over my cc. She then asked for my ID. I gave her my ID which she inspected front & back. The fact that she inspected the card wasn't the problem since it is an out-of-state id (different from what she may be used to seeing) but rather the fact that she also asked for my ID which to me was an insinuation that the card didn't belong to me. After charging the card, she said I could either sign or leave the receipt there. I told her that I didn't want to leave a blank/ unsigned receipt so I signed it and indicated $0 for the tip. She became extremely defensive and said that they also require a tip of at least $10. She then told me that if I wasn't intending to pay a tip I wouldn't be able to get a massage and proceeded to void my transaction and handed me a 'void' receipt. As she was doing that, I told her I had cash and I could use that to pay the tip but the amount would be based on my experience to which she replied "we don't take cash b/c people give fake paper'. It was at this point that it became clear to me that she did not want to provide her services to me. I was visibly upset, decided to collect my things, and left. She and her employees kept saying it's not just you. I don't want to pull the race card or assume the experience I had was b/c I am a 'minority' but whatever you want to call it...it was disgusting, disrespectful, unkind, and extremely stressful...rather than feeling stress-free...I left that place full of stress and highly disappointed that a place owned by a minority would treat another minority let alone another human being so poorly. It was demeaning and offensive. Save your money and go somewhere where all human beings are treated like human beings...and you are guaranteed to receive stress-free service. read more

The masseuse communicated well and made sure that I was doing well throughout the time. When the massage was almost up she asked if I wanted to do more time, I agreed since the massage was GREAT. I wanted to love this place, I really did. But I have to say, during the first 10 to 15 minutes of my massage my masseuse was answering her phone, jumping up and down, answering the door, talking to customers, making appointments. In the other massage places that I've been in the ID this happens to some extent, but not quite as much as last night. I guess I don't like the knee (she's crawls on your back) and deep elbow massage as much as someone actually using their hands and getting into those little places that are really tight. (My neck.) Using elbows and knees doesn't seem as "skilled" as hands, even though she's got the weight of her whole body on top of you and the pressure feels good. (Intense) It just isn't the same as having somebody work over you with their hands. She charges $60 an hour, and I did give her a $20 tip on top of that because I'm absolutely not going to cheat these folks that are working so hard. On the plus side: she had a warm blanket type of thing on the bed that was awesome, and it was actually a bed not a La-Z-Boy. She 'washes/massages' your back and legs with warm towels, that felt pretty good. So yeah,it was different and in some ways better than some of the other places in the ID. If you can handle that kind of heavy pressure on your back you should check it out. I am in my mid-60s so it was a little rough for me. read more

As soon as we walked in, Connie (the owner) greeted us (there was 3 of us) warmly and got us situated in the massage rooms. The massage was detailed, thorough and authentic! None of that foo foo massage that feels like you just got feather dusted! The therapist checked in to made sure that the pressure was okay and explained to me the pressure points and when it hurts, she explained to me what it means, such as drink more water, get more sleep and eat more veggies. Connie did spend a little to much time asking if the pressure is to much. Most people let you know when pressure to much. It was a little annoying especially when she wasn't even close to applying to much pressure. I did have to wait for a while, and she interrupted to answer the door, and say goodbye to other customers. I did recieve a little flack a 20% tip. This place has pretty decent prices if you're looking to get a relaxing massage. I thought the staff was really sweet and hard working. One thing unique about this place is that they have poles on the ceiling so they can walk on your back. For me, I liked this because they were easily able to apply a decent amount of pressure. I also like how they hopped on me and used their knees to apply an extra amount of pressure. Both of these made the experience unique. I was a little disappointed with the "routine-nature" of the massage. I had obvious knots and tension in my upper back, but as quickly as they were discovered was as quickly as she had moved on. So, you're not going to get a focused massage per-se. One other area that I felt a little slighted on, was that we paid for a 60 minute massage, but our massage went just under 50 minutes. In their defense, we were running a little behind on our scheduled appointment, so I completely understand how we backed up the schedule, but I thought it could have been communicated up front that we would be paying full price for a fraction of the 60 minutes. Relative to other massage places of like kind and quality, they give a lot of pressure on the back (which I liked), they don't really spend any time on the feet, front, face, hands, or head (which I think could be improved). I'd consider going back for a foot massage since that's a little more concentrated, but I probably wouldn't go for the 60 minute massage again. read more

This place is truly magical. I have been a regular to this place for the last 2 years twice a month and couldn't stop recommending it to my friends who loved it too. The massage is mostly deep tissue, high pressure and also includes back walking. I am truly impressed by all the people working there- Connie, Amy, Charles. All of them are better than each other and I have always left feeling light and relaxed. Walk-ins are mostly welcomed but its always better to give a call before hand for appointment even if it is 30mins in advance. They keep the massage timed hence never cut on your time and you get full time what you paid for. The prices are reasonable and competitive. It is not one of those luxury spas, but a nice little cozy place. Now I moved away from the Downtown area all the way to Columbia city and it is still totally worth it to come to ID/Chinatown just to get my massage. Also, Tip well ! read more
