Went to Mana massage and the rooms are tiny. The person who massaged me spent most of her time on the phone. I she massaged me with one hand most of the time and in the same place for 10 minutes or more. I would avoid this place, quality has gown down. read more

I had a very concerning experience at this massage place. I had a massage 10 days ago, and when I got off the table I fell as the floor was a little slippery. I hit my head on the table and had a noticeable bump at the back of my head. I had to go to urgent care immediately to make sure there was no serious injury. When I contacted the owner about the incident and asked about covering my medical expenses, I was told that they had insurance, but the next day the owner told me to contact a lawyer instead. There was no updates since then. I'm sharing this because I think other customers should be aware of the potential safety risk. I hope the business takes this seriously and improves safety measures for future customers. read more

No frills massage parlor. As other reviewers have mentioned, this is not the American "spa" treatment you might be looking for. Need a massage? Right now? Text them and be ready to get your knots taken out. They can accommodate same day appointments, and may even be able to take a walk-in. Prices are as advertised. Many people who understand this business model will keep coming back. If you need very specific care for very specific reasons, or want that luxury spa treatment with all the ambience of a retreat, this isn't it, and they don't pretend to be. read more

This is a no frills Asian run massage place. I paid $120 for 90 minutes and the massage was excellent. If you're looking for a luxury spa experience, this isn't going to be what you want but if you want a great massage for a reasonable price, this is it. read more

I really wanted to like this place, but it was the worst massage I've had. The location is great and so are the prices, but that's where the positives end. I get regular massages and have tried a lot of places in the area. This place is easily the worst I've had so far. My friend and I booked two massages for 11 on a sunday. When I showed up they insisted it was for 11:30 and the woman literally took my arm and guided me out the door. To be fair it was gently, but still weird to do. When my friend arrived a few minutes later we showed them the texts they sent confirming 11 was the time for the massage. We ended up waiting until 11:30 anyway, but that's fine. We were asked to fill out questionnaires, but both of our masseuses didn't mention them. The room for the massage is so tiny, I was surprised they can even maneuver around. The massage wasn't relaxing at all, you can hear everything happening in the location. The massage felt like very haphazard rubbing around my shoulders and then quickly did a lazy massage over the rest of my body the last 20 minutes. I also felt her stop massaging at random intervals to look at my nails. At one point when I was facing up I felt her stop again, when I opened my eyes she was just staring at my nails. A compliment I guess lol. During the payment process when it came to the tip she literally leaned over to watch how much I put in. My friend said similar things about her massage, some slight variations. I think the massage you get depends on who does it and how they feel that day. I would pass and go somewhere else for massages. It isn't worth the guessing game of who will give a half decent massage. read more

Hard to schedule. Used to really love this place. Hopefully they figure that out. Super affordable and only one masseuse climbed on top of me in a weird way. I wasn't given her a second time. read more

This place is solid for a walk-in massage. $80 for an hour. It's no frills, but the ladies work hard for their money. They will get in deep and get the knots out. Here for work and if I come again, I'd go back. read more

Mana massage was amazing Anna did a wonderful job. I came in with a lot of knots and very sore perifomas muscle. When I left mana I was able to hold my head up and no more sore muscles. Highly recommended this place and will surely return. read more

I got the most amazing massage here by Wendy! She was so nice and melted away all of my knots. I spent the last two days hiking so I was super sore. Wendy stepped on my back and was able to get super deep into all of the tight spots. I feel so much better and I hope to come back soon! read more

My boyfriend booked a same-day Swedish massage for both him and myself. Upon arriving, we were quickly ushered us to our rooms without asking any questions about what pressure we like, previous injuries, areas to avoid, etc. I've never had a massage where my therapist didn't check in with me either verbally or via questionnaire about these things, but I figured since it was a Swedish massage, it should be light to medium pressure anyways. Once she started to massage, I noticed that she was pushing quite hard, and with the repetitive motion, I would end up tensing up due to the pain. I also was flinching at points especially when she pushed on my spinal cord and behind my knees. It's generally not advised to massage these areas with much pressure as there is a lot of vasculature that you could damage, so I was pretty alarmed by this. She also pushed on my ribs, rubbed the outer corner of my eyes which was very unpleasant, and kept cutting me with her nails. I tried to communicate that I was in pain, but nothing changed. After the massage, I could not touch my back because of the pain, and the base of my neck has continued to hurt the next day. I've had many massages before, even deep tissue massages, and I have not experienced as much pain as I did at Mana. read more

We are in Seattle for an Alaskan cruise. After a long day of walking my husband found Mana on Yelp. They took 4 of us in with 30 mins. Each one of our massages was great. We had Bella, Wendy, CeCe and unfortunately my husband didn't get the name of his lady. read more

Good massage. Great price! And was able to accommodate a last minute appointment request. I would recommend for those who live in Seattle and traveling read more

I'm hesitating to leave a review because I low key want to keep this best kept secret to myself. I get hands down the highest quality, consistent, and satisfying 90 minute massages here. Location is convenient too. I refuse to go anywhere else! read more

Oh wow!! I love this place. I was fatigued from my long trip and feeling little weak and after the message, I feel so refreshed. All my tight muscles are loosen. I am definitely coming back on my next business trip to Seattle. read more

Great massage for the money. Nice deep tissue massage with all over relaxation and good reflexology on feet.

They were able to take my walk-in request and fit me in on a Sunday morning. They were very friendly and very accommodating. I was dealing with some lower back issues, and I came out feeling a lot better after my visit. The therapist worked on the entirety of my back for most of my visit. The massage itself was a mixture of both deep and soft pressure. I then got the entirety of my body worked on too. They know what they're doing here but they should also ask what other body parts they should focus on. The price was a bit higher than what I usually pay for my hour massages but with the short notice walk in I was happy to pay it. read more

This was one of the best massages I've ever had. I've had a lot of tension in my back and in both massages the women used a lot of strength and skill to loosen up my muscles. The hot stones were incredibly soothing after that. It feels like the women care a lot and they were so sweet and nice to my husband and I. Looking forward to coming back again! read more

Excellent to good depending on who you get. Eight rooms so likely there's an availability. read more

I love this place. Great relaxing vibe, excellent masseuses, and very reasonable prices (especially for the area). I live nearby and tried it on a whim, and it was such a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend. read more

I am so happy to find Mana Massage Therapy! I had terrible back pain from overdoing it in my workout and they made time for me on a Saturday afternoon. Coco was amazing, literally best massage I've ever had. She knew exactly what was needed to alleviate my pain. Pricing was much less than you'd find anywhere else in Seattle for the same service. Rooms were very clean and private, I'll be making regular visits here and highly recommend. read more

Came twice the first time was acceptable. The place is nice and clean. Location is very convenient for me, very close to work. However, the second time, the masseur seemed to have had a long, hard and tiring day before the appointment and gave the most half-hearted, flimsy massage I have ever had. Can't make myself coming back. read more

Another great massage today to take care of some painful injuries. I would recommend this place for a relaxing and therapeutic massage.

Ambiance feels okay.. they have you fill up a questionnaire that basically useless because when you get to the room and massage starts.. she don't even acknowledge the area where the tension is. Massage feels more like rubbing, you pay for 80$ to be upset in this place. Whats the point of answering that piece of shit when it wont even acknowledge? And the place is mad freezing. 15mins before the massage ends, she turned on the heated blanket on the table. And i told her twice that i am freezing. I need my money back for this horrible service. read more

I only write reviews when service is exceptionally bad. This was the case at Mana. After making an appointment, I showed up about 5 mins early. I was hopeful at first, but then I was told that massage would be "Full Body with a focus on lower back." The masseuse proceeded to walk on my back, which wasn't a huge issue, but it was a hard massage with a lot of weight. She also jumped down twice to answer the front door and came back without cleaning her feet off. Eventually, she used her hands to continue the massage. After a heavy squirting of oil, she did a terrible version of a massage with her hands. She used her nails to do some scratching. Then, she did a weird semi-touch on the legs. It seemed as if she was texting with one hand and using the other to give a half-a** massage. After turning over, she oddly zoned in on a pressure point and pinched it on and off for the remainder of the time. Once it was over, she insisted on cash, but all I had was a credit card. I still tipped her well because I'm not a monster, but she proceeded to literally grab me by the arm and lead me out the door. Worst massage I ever had. read more

Booking: manager returned my intro email in only 45mins on a Sunday, and had the same day availability that I requested. I called to reply to her email and get costs, and she declined call but sent an immediate text to confirm the details, which I appreciated since texting makes it all easier. She also preemptively texted me a video of street parking and the way the entrance looked from the street - so helpful! Ambiance: room is small and bed + headrest not super padded. My masseuse named Shi Shi was able to provide me a different type of pillow and that fixed things. The bed didn't cause any discomfort or take away from the massage, it's just something you'll notice as less padded compared to other places. From inside the room you can hear light conversation at the front desk, and maybe twice during my 90min session there was a random single tone beep sound coming from outside my room , kind of odd but not at all stressful or distracting. Massage: Shi Shi was amazing, she doesn't talk much but understood when I said I need to adjust or something hurt. She did massage techniques I never experienced like walking on my body, and she does it well! Massage very comprehensive, includes the more movement oriented Asian massage techniques, as well as traditional relaxing massage techniques and face massage. She's great at trigger point and addressing knots. She also massages glutes!!! I feel fulfilled in my desire to get deep body relief following my weekend work shift where I also am a bodywork practitioner. This was in my top five of massages over my decade enjoying massage therapy services. I selected the 90min deep tissue option and they offered hot stones during massage which I accepted. read more

I went in for my first massage today. It was great! It's very conveniently located and my massage therapist Sunny was just too good. I'd definitely recommend this place! read more

I was a walk-in customer while visiting Seattle for the weekend. Got a mid-afternoon appointment almost immediately at their place near Citizen M hotel/Westlake where we were staying. This small, no-frills, but very clean space really delivers: super friendly staff, the masseuse was extremely well trained and an expert at deep tissue massage. She found all my tight spots and I walked out feeling refreshed. The hot stones were a nice touch. And the price was more than reasonable! read more

Absolutely horrible experience.... . I called a few times and I was sent text messages stating they were busy but to text what I needed. I did that a few times but never got a message back. I decided to do a walk-in the following day and as soon as I walked in a lady told me that I called and cancelled a few times ...so funny she has no idea who I am and I if I am the same person. Never even got my info to know if I am the same person that was texting. I guess we all look alike. Horrible service. Then when I asked who the manager is she gave me a number of a man who never bothered to respond back so yea....horrible service and horrible treatment of possible new client. Please don't support these businesses that are discriminating and picking and choosing who they want to serve based on appearances and biases, PLEASE! read more

I was desiring a relaxing massage as I was here for a conference. It met all my expectations and I have no complaints. Yes there was noise at times but I could understand based on the set up of the establishment and location of the front door. The addition of hot stones was great as well as the foot rub. read more

Best massage ever! Jam or Jan, sorry, was very professional and attentive. I will definitely come back.

@Soojin C. - I completely agree. It is way too loud for any type of relaxation. The actual staff need to be quiet and allow the customers to enjoy their massage. read more

Traveling for work and really needed a massage. They got me when I asked and the massage was fabulous. And affordable!!

Dear gawd! This massage was AMAZING. Jessica worked out every last knot and lump in my back and neck. She did Shiatsu-walking on my back. Heaven. Then moved to hot stone massage. It has been awhile since I had a massage and I soo needed this. This might have been the best massage ever. Seriously incredible. I don't live here but will be back next time I am in town. Thank you Jessica. read more

Great massage! I had back, shoulder, and neck pain and Jessica could identify all of the pain areas and focused on them more when I asked. The owners are very nice and the prices are much more affordable than others in this area. They don't speak a lot of English, but they can still communicate enough for you to be able to get a high quality massage. I recommend it. read more
