But, this does add to your wait time if you didn't call ahead. Be prepared! The gals will take your order and then have to frost every single cupcake. I got Valentines sprinkles for no extra charge. They were so pretty! As for taste the cupcakes were moist and tasted great. There is a lot of frosting and it is pretty sweet, even the cream cheese one. I love the variety of cupcakes: snicker doodle, lemon poppyseed, lemon, passion fruit, red velvet and several more! Lots of frosting choices too, Oreo, fireball whiskey, orange, to name a few! They also sell gluten free cupcakes but they will be frozen unless you order ahead of time. Mini cupcakes are only available by ordering a day ahead of time. They also have 3 flavors of pre made cakes you can buy. As an aside, when I was there, a lady was very upset about something with her order and I saw the owner(?)Come out and talk to her and gave her a refund! I was amazed by this customer service! Now Gourmet cupcakes are only for special occasions for me because of the cost, but this store has a happy hour from 5p-6p where it's buy a cupcake get one free! That means $2.50 for 2!!! We should all know that Ida's has amazing cupcakes by now. I just recently discovered that they do wedding cakes as well! The staff was super helpful in getting us set up with a tasting box, with multiple cupcakes & frostings, to try as many combinations as we pleased. They were able to deliver the two-tiered cake & the cupcakes we ordered without any problems & even had cake display plates available. The cake was amazing & guests were excited to take home some extra cupcakes (you always have to order extra cupcakes, right!?). I live in Texas and my in laws live In Bend. We found out the gender of our baby and all mail options were going to take too long! We remembered Idas from when we lived there and decided to give them a call. Maggy/Maggiewas the absolute best customer service person I have ever talked with! Urg... it's my birthday and I ordered a Mardi Gras theme cake design. I just picked up the cake and I'm not impressed. First of all, they dropped the ball on the cake flavor and I had to pay for a larger cake. Apparently, the flavor I requested was only for the month of February.If a mistake is made fine but they should have made it right without expecting me to pay for it .Then, when I see this cake I'm like where is the design all I have is "Happy Birthday" in purple and a lackluster mask. I saw their Mardi Gras cupcakes and had high hopes. This is a case of a shop taking advantage of the location. There are several locations in central Oregon and maybe that's the reason they feel like they can get away with this. Delicious cupcakes. I've been coming here for a couple of weeks. But they are getting 4 stars for the last visit from this weekend, 7/11. I ordered two gf/v cupcakes and the girl marked the two in a square to be put in a separate box. When we picked them up, they were in the same box as the other 10 cupcakes and said they weren't told to be separate even though it was written down on the paper. Luckily they were not touching and put them in a separate box for us. Otherwise, the staff is friendly and quick. read more

This place is right next door to the Moto Shop, which I had to visit for repair parts for my motorcycle. WOW, these are the best cupcakes I've ever had. On my first visit, my friend and I tried the red velvet with cream cheese icing, and one of the specialty pumpkin cupcakes. These cupcakes are super moist, so if you like dry cupcakes, go elsewhere! They're so good that I made a rule: I can only visit them when something breaks on my bike. Fortunately, a few days after my first visit to Ida's Too and the Moto Shop next door, my bike died and needed some help, which meant it was cupcake time! I got the pumpkin cupcake with some amazing bourbon icing (honey bourbon? who knows, but my eyes rolled back in my head when I ate it, it was that good). Try it, you won't be disappointed. Very disappointing. Was sold on their "Gourmet cupcakes" as opposed to their standard ones. There is nothing Gourmet about these cupcakes. For $5 a piece I expected to get a large yummy cupcake. What I got was the same size cupcakes as you can make yourself using a standard cupcakes pan. I would hate to see what their standard size cupcakes look like. One or 2 bites probably. Additionally, when I arrived to pick up my order, the person working there was spraying windex in the glass screen protecting the cupcakes for sale on the same side as the cupcakes. I've been a patron since the early inception of the flagship location. Working in Redmond, I was surprised to see this store closed today, as it's currently on the website. As a plan B, I opted to stop at the Division Street location. I walked in, easily 5 ladies working. I stood at the cash register for 5 minutes (there's a clock on the wall). Not one individual greeted me. Several walked past me, not one acknowledgement of my presence. After contemplating walking out, a staff asked me what I wanted, which was their standard parfait. I placed my order. Twenty minutes later it was ready. Twenty minutes!!! Beyond disappointing, disgraceful customer service, and an experience I won't subject myself to again. Yep, great baked goods; however, I'll choose to support one of the alternative (and great) bakeries elsewhere in the future. Shoddy. read more

Thank you Ida's Cupcakes!! I called on the Monday after Easter for a pick up Tuesday morning for my daughters mommy and me class celebrating her birthday. At first, I called over the Galveston location but had some communication issues with the gal working as I wanted the cupcakes to look like a post from their Facebook page from Easter and needed them before 11am. When I was not getting the normal A+ customer service Ida's staff ALWAYS gives, I called to this location (SW Division St.) Ida answered the phone took the time and care to listen to just what I wanted and when I needed it and the cupcakes were ready Tuesday morning and were PERFECT!! Not only did the parents, children and teachers love the spring colors everyone agreed BEST CUPCAKES EVER! The mini dozen are great size for class parties. If you look at their portfolio they have talent i just don't think that talent was used on my order on my order the person did not care!!! However the money I had to pay was for quality. I see no quality thought or imagination put into this cake and I should get a refund !!! The cake is all we have for her birthday. Our daughter has been uprooted from her home in Hawaii with a military move plus pandemic we have no community of friends or family yet!! Very skimpy on the icing. This is a gourmet cupcake, huge, and there's not even enough icing to cover the cupcake. Not cool. I called the bakery but they were already closed and the guy said, "What do you want me to do about it." Really. These were supposed to be for Thanksgiving for someone who is gluten free. Horrible. Gluten free cupcakes. We have come here a couple of times. The cupcakes are good....but if you get gluten free they're frozen. Here is why I give it 2 stars. The woman icing the cupcakes is sick...she coughs....on the cupcakes she is icing. There is no covering of the mouth and No handwashing. The bathroom is very dirty and the paper towel holder didn't work. Are people washing their hands during flu season? No need! They'll just cough on your food. I left. No need to purchase cupcakes. Lady who answered said she have 10 in a box for us in 10 minutes and she had a gluten-free one for our celiac guest too!
