I had the pleasure of dining here over the weekend. The service was amazing, the restaurant atmosphere was ok. I noticed a lot of people ordered to go rather than dine in. I ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen with thin noodles no mushrooms. Beware it is really really spicy so it hurt my stomach. I wasn't expecting it to be very spicy. But overall the noodles had a great bite and the wontons were yummy! I wish I chose a different broth but it's ok.
I'm done with this place. No one answers the phone and the online prices are more. I went there 15 min before closing last week and was told too bad, we closed the kitchen already. Everything is done and just placed into a container. If the owner wants to close 15 min early then make the hours until 9:45. When I buy in store it's around $24, but online somehow it's over $28. I really loved their food, but getting stressed out over trying to pay someone is not worth my time. It's Miami, there's a million options.
Girlfriend brought me here, food was great, we had the Scallion Pancakes and Pork Gyoza with Scallions and both were delicious, although I felt for the price of $8 the portion of the Pancakes could've been a little bigger. The Ichimi ramen we got it with beef and the house made noodles, broth was great, it was rich and creamy and the portion on the ramen actually surprised me I ended up taking most of it home since I couldn't finish it all, and the all of the toppings were amazing as well. The Sake personally was not something we'd probably order again but I'm sure for those who love sake you might enjoy this one considering I'm not the kind to usually get Sake when I go out. Now the service on the other hand was a little on the lacking side, we came an hour and a half before closing and as soon as we were sat we were rushed multiple times to place our order even though I had made it clear that I was waiting on my girlfriend to come back from the bathroom to order. The ambiance of the place is nice and quiet for the most part, the interior is decorated really nice and it has a very upscale vibe to it.

And the answer was not because they went to our adjacent table instead to bring them the machine to pay. The kitchen staff saw us trying to flag the servers and didn't do much either. They were just watching us. Another staff was at the table counters packing takeout orders, kinda saw us trying to get someone's attention and then just went back to using their phone. After we were able to actually order, the food came out fast and was fine.

The team works very well together from the server who took the time to explain the menu in detail to those around the establishment - there was always a smiling face. The portions were very generous with the Tempura, Ribs, Ramen and desserts pretty close to Japanese style. The fried rice was also good. The restaurant was clean, though showing it's age a bit. There were many signs adhered to the wall with shipping tape - seems kind of tacky, but perhaps apart of the décor? We do recommend and will dine here again.
We were looking for dinner on a Sunday evening near the Downtown Miami/Midtown area and saw Ichimi come up in my search results and food and reviews looked really good and we wanted to check it out! Ichimi is located in the Shops at Midtown Miami (near the Homegoods). I would recommend parking in the Shops at Midtown Garage (near Target), take the elevator down and you're about a block or two from Ichimi. When you enter Ichimi you are greeted by a server and shown to your table, we didn't have to wait for a table but we also arrived around 7 PM and it started getting a little busier the longer we were there. We ordered a bottle of wine to start for $32. The bottles of wine weren't any more than $45. They also had non-alcoholic drink options along with beer and sake. For appetizers, we ordered edamame ($8.50) and Gyoza ($9.95). All appetizers came up really quick and were fresh and flavorful, and plenty for two people to share. For entrees, we ordered the Ichimi Ramen with Pork ($16.50) and the ramen was very flavorful and fresh and a really great quality! Food and service were all outstanding and we were very happy with our meal! We look forward to returning the next time we are in the area.

I ordered the spicy miso ramen with tofu. It satisfied the craving, but I found the broth lacking a bit of depth and complexity. A decent option for a casual meal, though not particularly standout.

This location I liked better than the one at the Gables when it comes to flavor or taste of the ramen which is what I went there for. However the service was not that great. Two young women who barely checked on our table and had to get their attention to ask for things we needed and it was only two tables they had to tend to. The kitchen was fast but the servers weren't attentive at all.
Really great tasting and quality ramen. Unfortunately, the bao appetizer was a bit dry and brings the rating down to four stars.
This was my first time trying Ramen and I must say it was a really good alternative to burgers or pizza. The shrimp Gyoza was my favorite. It's basically a dumpling. The ponzu sauce made it a thousand times better. I had the spicy Miso Ramen. I added some chili oil and some chili powder. The pork belly bao buns were good but my least favorite. The pork was really tender and the cucumber gave it a nice crunch. I definitely would recommend this spot to anyone in the miami area looking a nice ramen restaurant. The staff was welcoming and genuine & the lighting was appropriate.

Really enjoyed coming here for lunch. The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. This was my first time and the Ramen did not disappoint. We ordered the chicken fried rice which was 10/10 it had the perfect flavor and combination of spiciness along with flavor. Make sure you ask for spicy chili oil on the side and add it to your meals. It definitely gave the food an extra bump in flavor if you like spicy food. And the chili oil had a nice roasted chili flavor. The star of the lunch I ordered had to be the Ramen, the broth was extremely flavorful. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family visiting Miami. read more

I've been meaning to try this place for a while and I'm glad I finally did. The space is comfortable but nothing fancy. Service is quick and friendly. The menu is pretty straightforward but there's a lot of options to customize your ramen if you want to make changes. I chose to start with the wakame which was fresh and delicious. The spicy miso ramen was excellent. It was more of the spice flavor than actually spice but good nonetheless. I probably would try a different protein than the wontons next time but they were still good. I thought that the broth overall had less of a salty flavor than other ramen places without losing a rich flavor. The portion size was perfect. I would definitely come back here again for another meal. read more

My one good compliment is that the food came out relatively fast and our water was refilled a few times. Our waitress however, who I did not get the name of, was incredibly rude. Definitely one of, if not, the WORST service I have ever had in Miami in my 21 years of living. I came here to celebrate a birthday so we came in with good spirits, a positive attitude, and excitement to try such a high rated place, only to be disappointed. To put into perspective how bad the server was, she had AIRPODS in at all times while taking orders so she couldn't hear us and would roll her eyes when she misheard someone at the table. She was also visibly annoyed when we asked if a dish was dairy free as someone in the table has an allergy and she rolled her eyes at that as well, annoyed that she needed to ask the kitchen and clarify for us. The food looks better than it tastes. My bowl was mostly onion with a side of rice and beef, as shown in the picture. I definitely will not be coming back, and the entire table agreed. Hate to put a negative review but this was my experience, as well as the others in my party :( read more
My family aka the Zhou clan went on a trip to MIA and one of the first orders of business is to scratch our ramen itch. When looking for a ramen place, we came across Ichimi - a homey ramen restaurant in the middle of a shopping district in Miami. We parked at paid street parking and walked a few steps over to the restaurant. We were warmly greeted upon entering the restaurant and received excellent service all throughout the evening. The waitress was fast in taking our orders and delivering the food. We tried the Ichimi Ramen and the Spicy Miso Ramen, both had a thick, creamy, and delicious broth with an egg and pork chop slices as their complimentary proteins. My husband could not eat too spicy so we ordered less spicy for the Spicy Miso Ramen and the waitress was willing to adjust the spiciness. The ramen was comparable to but a slight tier down from well-known ramen joints like Ippudo and Ramen Nagi. The food filled our bellied and satisfied our souls after a long day of traveling! read more
I walked in in the middle of the day on a Saturday after getting a craving for ramen. I'd ordered delivery from this place about a year ago and while I recall it being fine it wasn't spectacular; I decided to dine-in before reviewing. I'm glad I did, because the delivery order from a while ago definitely didn't do Ichimi justice. The ambiance was low-key, cool and dim inside which was nice after having been walking around outdoors. I got the spicy miso ramen with the Japanese noodles and chasu pork, and added chili oil. The food was great, the staff were attentive, and I spend less than $20 (excl. tip). Would absolutely recommend. read more

This restaurant does not serve traditional Japanese-style ramen. The dishes lean more toward Chinese-style mian, both in preparation and flavor profile. For those specifically seeking authentic Japanese ramen, I would recommend Ramen Lab Eatery. read more
The food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the veggie gyoza. Sometimes you can get a very thick skin when folks aren't preparing them authentically... These were absolutely perfect. The veggie Ramen was absolutely delicious, loved every single flavor they put in there, wouldn't change a thing. The brisket bow was good. I feel like the meat could've been more tender to retain some of that natural moisture, but I was so hungry I ate and enjoyed. The service is good - patient, knowledgeable staff. Unfortunately, 3 stars because we saw a mouse as we were eating and decided it was time to leave. Mind you, they are doing some construction in the space so perhaps it came through the door when it was propped open, but no one wants to see that while they're eating. It crawled right by our table and hid under some boxes. Hopefully, once the construction finishes they can handle this and it doesn't become a problem. read more
Edamame was okay. Wasn't expecting the pork belly bao to have no fat in the pork belly -- meat only made the meat piece really dry so not tasty at all. The chicken fried rice and ramen bowls were flavorful, but slightly on the salty side. Homemade noodles were good. read more

This place was delicious! The food was absolutely amazing like OMG sooo good! It came out super fast, within just a few minutes, and everything we ordered hit the spot. The restaurant is located in Midtown, which makes parking pretty easy, though it's not free. The space itself is small and has a cute, casual vibe, though it does feel a bit dated and could use some upkeep. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest, which was a bit of a downside. That said, the food and quick service totally made up for it. If you're in the area and craving something tasty, it's definitely worth a visit! read more

This place was delicious. The spicy miso ramen was the perfect amount of spice and the broth hit the spot. We ended up ordering the homemade noodles which were thin and felt like the right amount of noodle to broth ratio. I recommend ordering an extra egg as they are delicious and flavorful and one never feels like enough. If you are looking for comfort food this is the spot! The atmosphere is also cozy and the service is fast but everything feels fresh. read more

Nothing better than ramen on a cold day. It was our first time at Ichimi and the food and service were great. I had the spicy miso ramen and my boyfriend had the Ichimi ramen. Both were excellent. The spicy ramen was the perfect amount of spice. We also had the hot sale which was good as well. The food came out quickly. The one star removed was solely because the place could use a bit of updating in the upholstery of their booths. Other than that - it was a very good ramen experience. read more
