Chicken Teryaki Lunch Special

Ichi Teryaki is back! The best teryaki, best lunch deals, and the owner Hera is super friendly! Happy to see them back after being closed due to the fire after a year!

The Seattle area has a very large amount of Teriyaki Restaurants, most are just okay, but Ichi Teriyaki is the exception. I ordered from this restaurant via delivery and was extremely pleased with my order. My food arrived hot and fresh, and from the items I ordered the pork egg rolls and shrimp fried rice were exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I saw how popular this place is and had to try it. I loveeeee the chicken yakisoba. The teriyaki sauce is delicious. They have great customer service too. I will definitely be back!

I was craving some chicken katsu and decided to give Ichi Teriyaki a shot. The location was easy to find going North on 99. At the time of this review the store is not offering any indoor dining -- Which is fine since I ordered takeout. I ordered the chicken katsu (no salad) and a side of gyoza for takeout. The gyoza tasted just fine, nothing too amazing but just what you would expect when eating gyoza. The chicken katsu however, was really good. The breading was just right and my favorite part is that the chicken was still juicy. I've had chicken katsu at some other places where the chicken tastes pretty dry. The portion size went plenty too. I was only able to eat half of the serving, and saved the other for the next day (which still tasted good). I would order from Ichi Teriyaki again if I'm in the mood for some chicken katsu!

Great food. Don't bother trying to dine in, just order take out. Parking can be a little tricky.

We got take out: chicken and beef teriyaki combo and veggie Yakisoba. Portions were very generous and both dishes were delicious!

And the only staff member serving that day was so efficient, and in spite of her load, she was still very friendly. All decked in smiles! The food was also outstanding! I have always seen Japanese shows where the characters always eat potato salad (poteto sarada). I can scratch that off my bucket list... LOL! Everything else just tasted so good! In fact, we recommended this to two close families of ours in Seattle and they also sampled the food and loved our recommendation! The place is beautifully decorated. With enough light from the storefronts that won't make you squint at the menu. Lots of room on the tables and to move around. My family and I love this place... We're sure you'll love it too! The Japanese curry was flavorful with a little kick, and it was nice and thick. Personally, that's exactly how I like Japanese curry, and many other things. The interior is clean, modern, bright, and open, which makes the restaurant feel comfortable and welcoming. Service was just okay. My lunch date wanted a substitution, but there seemed to be some confusion and we ended up being charged for an additional side of potato salad. Normally, no big deal, but nearly $8 for a scoop of potato salad felt pretty steep. Overall, I enjoyed the food, but pricing is definitely on the higher side for what feels like a quick lunch. With tip, we were pushing $75 for two people, which makes it harder to call this a casual lunch spot. Also, street parking around here can be a bit of a challenge during the lunch rush. Good curry and udon, nice atmosphere, but bring your appetite--and your wallet.

We came in the evening after day 2 of Geekfest and it was pretty busy inside. Luckily there was a spot open for two so we were seated and given menus. The inside is a bit dim, there were lots of tables with chairs or booth seats throughout, and there was even bar seating as well. My boyfriend ordered tonkotsu ramen and crunchy salmon roll as well as takoyaki to share while I got their red volcano tonkotsu and a Thai iced tea. I noticed there was a Japanese customer who spoke with one of the waitresses and she spoke Japanese back and it was cool to see and hear that! I wonder if the owners are Japanese as well as it's rare to find actual Japanese owned restaurants. The service here was friendly, courteous and they did check in every so often. The choice of music playing was quiet cafe music which was interesting but it was so hard to hear. My Thai iced tea came first then the takoyaki. Afterwards, our ramen bowls came not too long after that and the sushi roll came in last. I am so happy to say that the takoyaki was the perfect ratio of batter, octopus, and sauces on top. The ramen broth was hearty and smooth. I loved how spicy my red volcano tonkotsu was especially because I love things extremely spicy and it was definitely a fantastic ramen for spicy lovers. My boyfriend said he was very happy with his roll and ramen. He usually doesn't order ramen too often especially on a hot day but he said he was happy he did as it was one of the better ones he's had. My Thai iced tea was the right amount of sweetness and the perfect thing to sip on while handling my spicy ramen. I definitely want to come back to try their other selections.

Shares with other businesses in a small strip mall outside of LA Fitness. This restaurant is take out only (at least for now). You can only stand right in the entrance way and order. There is no seating to wait at or tables available to eat at. It is blocked off with a privacy screen so I have no idea what it looks like back there. We came based on the price of the sushi and the amount you get. We were not disappointed. Ordered the 7 piece salmon nigiri... first off the tray was so heavy! Definitely had some weight. Second, the nigiri was so large I had to eat one in three bites (normally I can 1-2 bites). There was a fair amount of rice, BUT the salmon on top was hefty and plentiful. They did not skimp on the fish. It was so buttery and smooth tasting. Id come back for that alone. We also got the House Combo B. Two rolls, ebe nigiri and salmon nigiri. This tray was also very heavy and definitely need both hands to hold. The rolls were quite large and stuffed. You get so much sushi here for such a great price. AND it tastes fresh and delicious. We will be back for sure! Taking off one star because the place looked kinda sketch when you walk in.

Came through after a recommendation from TikTok and my friend wanting to return. Service was actually pretty quick, like under 10 minutes which I guess is unusual since I had a friend wait over 30 minutes one time. You order inside on a pad, keep your receipt and wait to pick up outside since there is no inside seating. We tried to buy a drink at the mustache tea across the way but weren't allowed to eat outside food in there even after making a purchase. First things first, portion is great, bang for your buck. $24 for all that - can't say it's something I would do on the regular but sure, it left a whole other meal for the next day. I got the seared 7 piece salmon and the flavors mix well and it does taste good. I don't think this place was my vibe since I try not to have leftovers since day old sushi just doesn't hit the same because of the changed rice texture. And for the various wait time I'd rather go elsewhere. Otherwise, decent spot to try. Not sure if I'll be back.

I had called ahead to ask whether they did anything special for birthdays and explained that although my actual birthday was the following day, I was celebrating today because that was the only day I was available. As soon as we sat down, the manager immediately informed us about a 12% service charge, along with an additional weekend dining surcharge. Not exactly the warmest welcome, especially for a birthday celebration. What bothered me most was the manager's attitude and complete unwillingness to show any flexibility regarding the birthday policy. I understand restaurants have policies, but there's a difference between following the rules and making guests feel welcome. A little hospitality and understanding would have gone a long way. Instead, the interaction left such a negative impression that we decided to leave and celebrate elsewhere. For a restaurant charging additional service fees, I would expect a much higher level of hospitality and customer service. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite. A disappointing way to start a birthday celebration, and I won't be returning.

I was looking for dinner in the area and happened to stumble upon this bento spot on Google Maps. After a quick look through the photos, menu, and reviews, it seemed worth trying, and I'm so glad I did. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento, and after trying it, I can confidently say this is one of the most generously portioned and thoughtfully put-together bentos I've had in a while. The chicken was juicy, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The attention to detail across the whole box really stood out, from the egg maki with crab stick to the pickled assorted veggies, yakisoba, radish, and a mountain of perfectly crunchy assorted tempura. Every component felt intentional and well executed. Beyond the food itself, which delivered on quality, flavor, and portion size, the presentation was great and the interior was extremely tidy and well kept. I got my order to go, and I really appreciated that they had seating available for takeout customers. The owner, I believe, who took my order was also incredibly friendly and patiently waited while I decided what to get. That kind of hospitality really adds to the experience. Between the excellent food and the warm service, this spot deserves way more attention. Honestly, if a place like this were located closer to downtown, like South Lake Union, Queen Anne, Fremont, or Madrona, it would easily become one of the most popular teriyaki spots around. I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu next time. There is ample parking around the plaza which is excellent as well!
