Icelandair operates the main 'customer service' call center for this (866) 666-0203 phone number 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This (toll-free) number is open 24 hours for flight reservations, ticket changes, cancellations, baggage inquiries, refund requests, modifications, and other travel-related requirements. As an Emerald member with the oneworld alliance, I have always received complimentary seat selection on partner airlines. That changed with Royal Jordanian. I paid $140 for two seats that were clearly shown as a two seat row. When my wife and I boarded, we discovered the row actually had three seats. No one pays extra for a middle seat -- ever. My seat number was k6 and the seat has no cushion whatsoever, I had to stack pillows and blanket to prevent back pain Most incompetent company I've had to deal with. Called someone in Detroit to get information about the plane and flight, he gives me another number to call I believe it was in Chicago. I call that number, another person tells me we don't handle this, you have to call another number. Called that number, that person gave me the original Detroit number. I called Detroit back, another person answers and gives me the information I was asking to begin with. Not done yet. I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Royal Jordanian again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. Rather take any other airline that go through that hell AgaiN.

I needed assistance and decided to call this business at 18666660203. The response time was decent and the person on the line tried to help as much as possible. I had to be transferred once, but the second representative handled things better and gave me the correct information. It wasn't perfect, but it was still a workable experience. I'm leaving this review to share how things went for me personally.

It made the flight go by quickly. The bad: the de-icing process takes far too long. Our flight was delayed in taking off by an hour because of this. When both flights landed at the airports, we had to wait 30+ minutes on the plane because we didn't have a gate. This was very stressful because I was nervous I wouldn't make my connecting flight.

Their website clearly said $100 for a bag over 50 lbs but less than 70 lbs. It was pure blackmail & they were nasty about it in the process. There was no one at United who would help me. After the trip, I contacted United's Business Customer service. They initially claimed it was all about "limited space". Not true at all. There was a guy standing next to me checking 2 large bags that were just under 70 lbs. He was a United gold member. I was not. They gladly accepted his 60+ lb bags. United Business then wrote and told me that they had the right to charge me $200 for a 53 lb bag. No partial refund. Of course they could do a partial refund in the name of good customer service but chose not to. I would never recommend United.com to anyone. Watch out for their "variable" rules.

It's a rather plain room, chairs, coffee/tea, and tables. Feels a bit like a break room for staff. The plane was clean, albeit a bit old. Flight crew was great, checking in often, without being a pest. WiFi worked solid the entire flight. The in flight service is an ecological nightmare. Everything has single use plastic. For a yogurt, I got a plastic spoon, knife, and fork. This on top of the plastic cup and two levels of plastic lids. A bottle of water was a tiny plastic bottle, and it soon felt bad to get anything more. My kid needs me to leave a planet to enjoy, not save. The Colorado ground crew was good. One guy was outstanding. I believe his name was Connor. He went out of his way to acknowledge people and help them. I watched how he did this with his colleagues too. If I were hiring, he's the type of employee I would try to steal. When I arrived into Boulder, the ground crew was less than pleasant, minus the previous mention. But when I flew out the entire ground crew was friendly and nice. The lounge isn't. It's just the lobby for everything, not just JAX. The coffee/tea machines were not on and are little more than the smallest Kureg one can buy. Back on the plane, service was top notch. We did leave two hours late. The plane was too heavy, given the luggage situation. (Some folks had a lot, and it looked heavy.). They got everyone's body weight and calculated if we were still too heavy. If we were, they would have to stay on the ground and burn off fuel. Great, more waste. Thankfully, some skinny people saved us and we left, arriving home two+ hours late. So it goes, it was still better than dealing with the crowded airport. The people make this business, so I hope they are taken care of well.

The terminal connector train was literally standing room only, a few people got off at a stop and a similar number got on. This left numerous people in the lobby waiting for their turn to get on a train. Unfortunately I'm very good at having connections in different terminals and this trip was no different. Get off my inbound flight, walk the concourse to the train, connect to the next terminal, walk through the concourse to my connection gate. To be fair that's not any fault of Denver airport. It also happens to me at Chicago and Atlanta. The terminals are clean and so are the restrooms. Lots of dining options and prices aren't sky high like some airport eateries. Denver will never be my favorite airport, but for a major hub it's far from the worst in my opinion. I'll definitely be back, hopefully less crowded next time.

Had gotten there extra early, even though the TSA website indicated short wait times at DIA. Boarding was easy. Sank into my seat and ordered tonic water to stave off leg cramps. The ONLY annoying aspect of this trip was the constant interruption of announcements, perhaps ten before takeoff. Flight attendant was masked. I read lips. I didn't note my lack of perfect hearing on my account, because I don't like people shouting at me. The mask made things slightly more difficult, but we communicated by her pointing at things and me speaking. It was fine. Lunch--cold salmon salad--was delicious. The wine was a generous pour, and I was able to sleep. Which was the desired outcome. I was exhausted. Entertainment selection, again, was okay. I didn't find any movies that I wanted to see, so watched SVU instead. The flight took off on time, and landed on time, too. All in all, a very enjoyable experience for a once-devoted Southwest flier. This beat "Choice Extra" hands down, and cost very little more for many more perks. It seems like a no-brainer.

I arrived at Heathrow hours early as I shared a cab with a coworker and his flight was much earlier. I could not check in on the app or on the website in the day prior, so I stood in line for close to an hour at the American window where they told me I was actually flying BA (my travel record showed American) and I needed to go to another terminal. I got to that terminal and tried to get in line to check in but BA employee said I needed to use the kiosk. I explained I was unable to check in on apps or online and needed an agent. They insisted I try the kiosk first. Unsurprisingly.. it didn't work. I was allowed to get in the check in line with an agent where I stood for the next almost 2 hours. Yes, 2 hours standing on a concrete floor. My back was screaming (old people problems, I know). I finally got up to an agent who said I wasn't able to check in because I needed to show my visa. I pulled up my British electronic visa and she said "no love, your American visa".. while holding my American passport in her hand. I explained I don't need a visa because I am an American returning to my home country. She looked confused but decided she needed to call someone to help. I stood while she was on hold and transferred around to different places who eventually told her it was an issue in the system today and they would remove the error. She then told me I had no seat on the flight because it was oversold and they couldn't guarantee I would get on, so they may have to book my on the next flight which was the next day or would need to look at another airline for me. She gave me a boarding pass that was or standby and said to hurry to the gate to try and get a seat. I got in the security line and about 15 minutes later, I was up.. I scanned my boarding pass and it errored out, not letting me through. An employee told me I had to get in a different line to see what was wrong with my boarding pass. I stood in anther line for a good 40 minutes. Once I got help, they told me I couldn't get through because I don't have a seat and would have to fly standby. I explained, yes.. that's why I have a standby boarding pass. It says standby on it. She said it wasn't standby in the system and it needed to be fixed, so she had to call someone to assist. Another 15 minutes later and they couldn't get it to work and I was going to miss the flight, she said she would take me through a different security line so I could get to the gate. She did that and I had to take a train to get to the gate, which wasn't working for about 5 minutes because it was having a "security sweep" with officers and dogs going through it. I finally got on the train, got off at the right place, ran all the way to the gate as they were boarding. Asked if they had a seat for me, and they huffily said they did but I almost didn't because I waited so long to get to the gate. Are you kidding me? I got on the plane and will be happy to never fly British Airlines again. I guess all the great luck I've had traveling was made up for on this trip. Just terrible.
