I used the dedicated priority screening, and--unlike in NY--didn't need to remove my shoes or electronics, because "we have the fancy x-rays." This was GREAT! Zipped through security. Had gotten there extra early, even though the TSA website indicated short wait times at DIA. Boarding was easy. Sank into my seat and ordered tonic water to stave off leg cramps. The ONLY annoying aspect of this trip was the constant interruption of announcements, perhaps ten before takeoff. Flight attendant was masked. I read lips. I didn't note my lack of perfect hearing on my account, because I don't like people shouting at me. The mask made things slightly more difficult, but we communicated by her pointing at things and me speaking. It was fine. Lunch--cold salmon salad--was delicious. The wine was a generous pour, and I was able to sleep. Which was the desired outcome. I was exhausted. Entertainment selection, again, was okay. I didn't find any movies that I wanted to see, so watched SVU instead. The flight took off on time, and landed on time, too. All in all, a very enjoyable experience for a once-devoted Southwest flier. This beat "Choice Extra" hands down, and cost very little more for many more perks. It seems like a no-brainer. read more

My carry on bag got flagged at TSA with my Travel Ninja blender. This has never happened before and I travel quite a bit. There is barely a blade on it. The TSA folks were very kind but let me know that it would have to be checked. Walked me and gave me a fast pass reentry for TSA. I had plenty of time and I have pre check, but they were treating me like my flight was in 10min's. Very kind. Shirish, is who I first uncounted when attempting to check the blender. I have him the sinario and he was very kind light headed and understanding. He suggests that I don't check my computer bag. He then brought over Janessa, who it seemed was the sight manager. She laughed that they wouldn't check the blender, then jumped into problem solving high gear. She said, I'm going to find you a box. She the quickly started the hunt. Less the 5min later she had the perfect size box. I wrapped the blender with my jacket and she tapped it up (as seen in photo) this was a mildly busy day during the strikes happening across the United States at other airports and these two really showed me kindness, staying cool, calm, and collected the whole time. So I just wanted to thank them here! read more

Flight out was delayed a day making me miss my connecting international flight. Notification on app came at 3am. Luckily I heard it or I would have been SOL. I selected one of the other options but it meant I would add six more hours to my travel time. I was not happy. Also, they were unable to assign me a seat on my new connecting flight because it was a partner airline. It was all terrible. The flight back was not delayed like that thank goodness. We had a weather delay but it was only by an hour. And I didn't miss my connecting flight which was also delayed. The flights were fine. I was lucky in the rebooked international flight as I had a middle seat in a four seat row and the gate attendant agreed to move me to one where the other middle seat hadn't been filled yet. Made it better. It's the little things. The in flight meals were decent. And the snack bar was nice. Glad for the slippers, pillow and blanket as well. It was really cold on board for the return international flight. Restrooms were much cleaner than some flights I've been on. Movies were decent. Only thing is the overhead baggage bins are too high for short me to put my luggage in. And the one domestic flight back the bins have to be held down to be able to place your bags in them. I would fly Delta again. But I'll be sure to have alternatives in mind in case of cancellations. read more

I've always enjoyed my travel experiences with Delta Airlines. I've travelled between SEA and DEN a few times. As airports go, DEN is an incredible facility. For outbound Delta customers arriving by car, there is a dedicated curbside check in counter. They are located at Doors 614/612 and Level 5 Door 512/514. Junessa is our gate agent. Delta-style pleasant disposition; clear announcements and from my observation, very patient with distressed customers. This is why I choose to fly Delta. read more

THere seem to be multiple "Delta Air LInes" throughout Yelp. So, If you feel that you've seen this review before, you probably have. I can't say enough good things about Delta, they always do a wonderful job getting me from here to there or... in reverse. it is an amazing airline. It has always been a great airline. Their planes are always clean when we get on. Unfortunately someone always stashes that piece of garbage and I'm usually the one who finds it. LOL. They do a great job of preparing flights from customer to customer. The attendants are always very friendly, courteous and professional. A great group of very talented and committed individuals. They should all be very proud of themselves. I have flown both economy and Delta Priority 1. BIG difference and depending on the length of the flight, it may be worth it. I recognize that there is a big price difference in the two so it's not always an easy choice. The seating is always comfortable and there is always enough legroom. (I'm 5'11"). The video screens are a good size and there is always enough entertainment choices. I'll give the snacks an ok. Nothing spectacular but OK. I definitely miss the blue chips. I definitely miss the free hi speed WiFi. If it's a long flight, you can buy and it's pretty reasonably priced. I don't mind flying, really I don't. When I do, Delta does a great job. I'm not always thrilled about be put into a tube and shot across the country sitting for 3-6 hours but when I do, Delta is a great way to go. KUDOs to the team at Delta. read more

I like deals and I like to travel! Having the Delta credit card allows me to get good deals and sometimes free flights by using my credit card points. I feel like I have not traveled by plane in forever let alone, I cannot recall if I have flown via Delta Airlines. Well one thing I do know, this was my first Delta One (first class) experience on this type of aircraft. I have seen other first class flight seatings, but this one here, I felt was state of the art. My husbae usually flys first class and this was his first time experiencing this level of seating as well. We were both impressed. The most comfortable seating I have experienced, ever! While our flight was diverted from JFK to ATL, I felt the crew and team, did their best to ensure we had a great flight with less hiccups as possible. Overall, I would definitely fly Delta One again and recommend you check them out as well. This is definitely a great treat! Have fun ~ be safe ~ enjoy life :) read more

Traveled from Boston - Colorado this morning, grabbed "our" luggage and took an uber to downtown Denver only to realize we had someone else's suitcase! We immediately headed back to the airport..... ughh..... I tried calling delta, I tried using the app, and I tried using the website and could only get bots- no live people and there's NO link to report "I accidentally stole someone else's bag". When we arrived at Delta baggage claim expecting a hard time, and were pleasantly surprised that Jim & Alex (or was it Eddie, he grew up in Peabody, MA) were soooooo helpful, kind, and refreshingly personable. In addition to getting us our luggage back, they told us where to grab food since we hadn't eaten all day and gave us instructions on how to get back to the hotel on the public transportation so we wouldn't have to pay for a 3rd uber in 3 hours. Delta, those two are the customer service faces you want at your business, good job!!! I definitely suggest adding a link & automated "Press_____for "accidentally left airport with someone else's suitcase" . If they learned about it earlier they could have had an hour lead time to get in touch with the rightful owner to arrange an airport swap. read more

Delta is my preferred airline of travel and I'm a rewards medallion member with them. My passage through Colorado's Denver Delta hub wasn't very pleasant. There is a lot of construction going on and it's a bit disjointed and confusing to travel through here at the moment - plus Delta has been delaying and canceling tons of flights. The day I traveled last weekend we were informed our flight attendant was late bc she was told the wrong time to arrive and we waited two hours for her to shower, get dressed, and drive here. How awful. Overall, Delta is doing a great job with their app, planes, baggage handling and other amenities, but I'm hopeful they'll get back on track with keeping flights on time. read more

Began in RDU to ATL with an 45 minute delay in the terminal. Once on the plane, the pilot announced a 45 minute wait on the place before we could take off. 7 minutes before takeoff the pilot announced that 1 customer wanted to get off because he was afraid he'd miss his connection. We went back to the terminal and 10 others decided to deplane causing them to deplane the entire aircraft - wait 30 minutes to refuel and refill the airplane. Because it was evening, by the time we reached ATL, every customer missed their connection. It took Delta 45 minutes to send vouchers for food and hotels. An entire plane was stranded because Delta honored 1 nervous flyer over every other ticket paying customer. Had the issue been medical or family emergency it would be understandable. Well, every flight was unique. Out of our last 6 flights, 4 have been delayed, making it tough to depend on their scheduling. Delta doesn't fly direct to so many major airports, again making it hard to choose them for every flight we take. Staff is usually quite friendly and helpful, but they do tend to use people with thick accents for announcements on the flights, making it impossible to understand much of the time. Most of the planes we've been on lately though, have been newer and upgraded, which has been quite nice. Overall, if they can offer a decent price and direct flight to where you're going, they're a great option. read more

I'm a Delta lover through and through....today is unique for several reasons. Mid morning direct to ATL has flatbed service in first class. I'm sure they are moving equipment through from LAX but who can resist the extra touch. 767-400! One of the very kind flight attendants in first class just received her 35 year service pin from Delta. She was proud of it and I thought it was generous of her to share that. She also said she was the rookie flight attendant on our flight. What tribute to Delta in the modern age of Job hopping. read more

I flew Delta One business class from Phoenix to Madrid. What can I say? It was great! The cabin staff was very friendly and accommodating. Even the Captain strolled through business class and made sure that everybody was happy. We received two full meals, dinner and breakfast. The food was the best airline food that I have ever had and I fly allot. We were pleasantly full on our arrival in Madrid. The seats were lie flat and had multiple power adjustments. They could have been slightly wider say 2" and I understand that they are on Delta's larger planes like the A350. Their lounges are very nice and are free to international business class passengers. All in all, this was the best long distance airline experience that I have ever had, and I will be a permanent Delta customer. read more

Trial and error has led me to Delta as my airline of choice. Revamped planes with personal on demand entertainment systems, excellent service and one of the best loyalty programs keeps me a delta flyer. Prices are usually higher but medallion perks like upgrades to comfort and first, 3 free baggage check ins (75 lbs each) and a great credit card (platinum or reserve) keep me loyal. Oh and the waived fees for exit row seats and standby/flight changes for the same day are key. I wish there were more international partners and crossover rewards. Happy flying! read more

Very disappointed with Delta airlines at DIA check in counter. I approached the counter and Roshanda yelled at me and said wait ur turn and don't come up here till someone calls you! I felt like I was getting checked in on the streets and not Delta. How disgusting! If I could, I'd give them a zero. I booked an expensive direct flight from Baltimore to Denver to ensure I'd arrive on time. Instead, they changed it to a connecting flight through Atlanta. Depends where you are heading. Delta has hubs in LAX, SLC, ATL, DTW, MSP, and LaGuardia. All about where you are flying to and what routing makes the most sense. Delta travels the world and is part of the Sky Team alliance. Recently the company has taken a huge push towards customer service. Delta wants to be the number once carrier for on board customer service, gate and checking counter service etc. I'm unsure if that pledge was domestically or worldwide but it sure is a honorable goal. Out of Denver they operate some fairly large aircraft with a healthy number of non stops. Delta Connection also operates his via smaller regional airlines for those destinations a huge plane just can't land in or demand is too low to justify a big aircraft. They initially occupied the C concourse but moved to A about a year and a half ago. read more

I arrived for my flight 3 hours before boarding as instructed. I tried to check in the day before, but delta platform errored out several times and told me I simply needed to chat with a check in agent at the door. When I arrived, I learned that I had been routed through Amsterdam, and they were requesting my booster card. Only being vaccinated, I did not have this. My agent spent 1 hour on the phone trying to understand what was needed to fly into Amsterdam. My agent spent a second hour on the phone trying to understand if requirements were needed to simply have a layover. My agent spent a third hour on the phone trying to get me an alternate route. At this point, I had missed my flight and the agent and their manager were clearly sick of trying to figure it out, and so they told me I could pay 3500 on the spot for a new flight or I had to leave without any other option, missing my trip entirely. Don't forget to mention their patronizing smiles as they did a 180 from trying to help me to just trying to get rid of me. This was the ickiest I've felt dealing with a company, and while I will be filing a report with Delta, the best I can do now is swear never to fly on their airline again, and try to help others understand how little they care about their customers. Shame on you Delta. Shame on you. read more

Not a huge station for Delta but they have a large check-in desk and baggage carousels that are off a ways from the main carrier here at DEN. My bag did take the requisite 20 minutes to show up but so did most everyone's. It was not quite speedy here but the bag did arrive. Returning to the airport to fly home, there's a large check-in area that took a bit of effort to find. Again, if you're not flying United at DEN, then you're relegated to second class. Delta does have a Sky Club here which is excellent. read more

Delta is a major carrier, obviously, but you should know that in Denver you're outside of their home turf. This is United territory. This is Frontier Land. So, you're going to be looking all over for the sea of agents you might be accustomed to in SLC, or in Atlanta, or MSP, but you're not going to find them. This, of course, is not any reason to avoid flying Delta here. It's Delta, after all. You might not get the choicest gates (but not bad) and you might not have as many resources, but this is a big ol' airport with lots of resources for everyone. If you're good with DEN, then you're good with DELTA. I lost my priority stats a few years ago, but if memory serves, there's a Delta Sky Club at this location, and you can enjoy the usual--beer, coffee snacks, etc. They do offer the opportunity to buy a single use pass, but it's really not worth it unless you get marooned for hours and hours and hours. I like Delta. They rebounded pretty well from some rough years and seem to be on the up and up, no pun intended. Good here as anywhere else without a proper hub, with zippy and cheap flights. read more

My recent trip from Atlanta to Denver was quite a bumpy ride but I have to say that Delta has some fabulous pilots that navigated us through the upcoming storm with ease. We had a very strong head wind as we headed back to Denver making the ride extremely rough, more than I have ever experienced in all my years of flying. The plane looked to be new with blue led lights that lit up the cabin, oversized compartments for carry on luggage, roomy seating and video options for each seat with free premium movies. This made the 2+ hour trip more enjoyable. The flight crew were funny, polite and personable, telling a few jokes at our take off and landing. By the time that my movie was done, we were just about getting ready to land. The wind turbulence never let up the entire trip, but you could tell how experienced the pilots were by the soft landing they made. This must be the most comfortable flight that I've ever been on, even with the bumpy ride. A series of cheers could be heard in the cabin as we finally touched down and as we were disembarking you could hear people talking about how great the pilots and crew were. read more

I. Love. Delta. It's pretty simple fly Delta if you want great service. We've been flying Delta for years and we have had a few great flights over the last two months but our last connecting flight from ATL to SEA was seriously some of the best service we have ever experienced from an airline. From the gate agents to the cabin crew this flight was really above and beyond in every aspect. We booked First Class for our trip and we were on a 767-200 on this leg of the flight, which gave us lay flat beds. Even though the flight from ATL to SEA is only five hours, having the lay flat beds was a huge plus for us. Being able to relax and stretch out to watch a movie and being able to actually sleep comfortably even for about an hour or so was a big impact for getting into Seattle and being ready to be in the city all day. We were served breakfast on the flight, I chose the spinach quiche and my boyfriend chose the baked oatmeal with fruit. They were both really good, although I wish I would have chose the oatmeal, and I don't even like oatmeal....bonus points for inflight food. As far as the seating goes, I am about 5'7" and with the seat fully reclined I had plenty of room and did not feel confined at all. My boyfriend is about 6' and has broad shoulders and with his seat fully reclined he said he had decent leg and foot room but he felt a little snug in the area around his shoulders, but it was not uncomfortable. Every seat is an aisle seat so you have plenty of room to get up and move around. Also, each seat has their own overhead bin. The media and movie selection was plentiful and we each chose a different movie, we were also given headphones once we were seated, and they had pretty decent sound. The seats had power outlets and usb ports so you could charge your electronics while you were in flight - score more bonus points!!! WiFi was available for a low cost, but there was really no need with all the choices of entertainment available (unless you were working and needed to utilize it). As usual, First Class comes with free checked baggage - 2 bags each person (up to 70 pounds), free alcoholic beverages and priority boarding. The cabin crew were so amazing and it seemed as if someone was there every time I turned my head asking if I needed anything. Best First Class Cabin Crew we have ever had! read more
