Not sure how I feel about this. I'm always down to try new pho spots in and around Everett. This ain't it. The broth was kind of sweet almost like instant broth. My wife and I didn't even finish ours and were left disappointed. They are pretty generous with the portion though.

After a cold day outside, we ventured into a new Pho restaurant . This was a nice surprise as it had replaced my favorite Gyro spot. The restaurant has been modernized, adding tables and yet it seems to flow nicely. The customer service was excellent, the tea warmed my soul as reviewed the wonderful selection of menu items with colorful pictures. The appetizers were delicious, with the main menu potion size more than fulfilling.

This place is a boon for Everett. I'm originally from California and that is where I was introduced to and developed a real taste for pho. Since I moved up here, for 10 years plus, I've had a hard time trying to find a pho that hits. There are plenty of pho spots and Vietnamese restaurants with a wide variety of dishes, quality varying greatly, but pho seems to be a hard not to miss option. But I'm still finding it difficult to find one that satisfies my palate. This place is fairly new but it has been doing pretty good since its opening. I think I heard that the owners are also running Mukilteo Thai Restaurant but don't quote me on that. I Want Pho also boasts a pretty decent selection of Thai food as well that I've yet to try but right now we're looking at the pho and Viet menu offerings. I've eaten inside a few times while also placing orders for take home as well so I have a fair perspective on this place. Service has always been good. It's very standard if you're familiar with Pho spots. You come in and if you're dining inside then just grab a table and they'll be there shortly with menus. Inside is fairly big and can accommodate a large party or family, which I've seen upon a visit or two. Quick digression but this place seems to be family oriented which is always a good sign. Back to topic; there are a line of booths along the wall and the main floor is stacked with classic wood tables and chairs. It gives a very familiar Pho restaurant vibe yet still feels homey. There's usually music playing and they have a tv behind the main counter either playing videos or whatever show they might have on. I've only seated myself in the booths but seating is comfortable and being a bigger guy, I've never had to squeeze or push the table back to get in. Tables have all the accoutrements needed for pho from spoons and chopsticks both plastic and wood and the sauces as well. Any dishes ordered that need silverware will be provided. Sometimes a wipe down is needed but nothing has ever been off putting. All the waitresses have been nice and welcoming but they are attuned to your needs and behavior. When the owner is in he's very talkative to customers and his staff and it feels good to see that attitude. Now the food. Like I said, I've been here a few times with also getting take away as well. I've done a small yet decent touching of the menu but there's a lot to order so one dish might or might not translate to another but I don't have any serious issues. On the appetizer side I've had the spring rolls, wings, bbq pork bun, and coconut prawns. They were all good but nothing stood out. The shrimp spring rolls were a little underwhelming since they have brisket and I was hopeful for depth in flavor and texture but I couldn't really differentiate between the items but still good. The wings were very surprising. They were the whole wing, which I rarely see anymore but that was pleasing. They were drenched in a sticky sauce that can be quite hazardous to the napkin supply. The sauce had flavor, sweet and salty but again nothing to rave over. The pork buns were probably frozen but they were snack-able. The same goes for the coconut prawns. Crispy and you taste the shrimp with the coconut but they were ok. On the entree side I've had the beef banh mi, the short rib vermicelli and the pho. The beef banh mi is huge. I mean bigger than any banh mi I've ever had or seen. It was packed with beef. The flavor was good but the sandwich was dry. Had it been moist I think it would have been knocked out of the park but it was good and filling. All the ingredients tasted fresh. But more juicy and tender would be nice. The short rib vermicelli was a beautiful dish. I wish I took a picture but trust me, it was colorful and bountiful. On a side note, I think the majority of entrees are pretty big so if you're not a big eater you can either share or just save for later. And now the pho. I want to start off with a minor complaint. I just wish the pho was hotter in terms of temperature. I'm not saying it was cold or lukewarm but it wasn't steaming piping hot. I don't mind waiting for it to cool down or possibly burning my mouth lol but that's the only negative I have. The pho was great. Really great. It's not the best but it was better than I've had in a long time. And they also offer a small, which is unheard of for Pho restaurants but I opted for the medium. I got the 7 with tripe added. It was brimming and packed with meat and noodles . You get the standard bean sprouts, jalapeño, lime and basil. And again your table has all the sauces to doctor it up to your liking but for me the broth was enough to stand on its own. Excellent flavor. The noodles had bite and absorbed the broth with fattiness of the brisket. I really couldn't put my spoon down hahahahhaha. I really enjoyed it.

The food was pretty average and not mind blowing good. Mind you, I'm pretty new to Pho in general. I wanted to try the beef rib pho for a while now and it was a bit disappointing as the beef was chewy and not fall off the bone tender. The broth had good flavor and the great service made up for average but good food. Excellent t customer service and the place was clean and well kept. I'll come back to try some other items but for now, on the hunt for amazing pho!

Amazing you guys need to try! It's a newer pho place but they also have a big thai cuisine menu. The vibe of the place is so cute and when they had messed up our order the owner came out and offered another one right away apologizing. It was delicious!

I like how their soup tastes: not greasy, not artificial, but clean and flavorful. Besides their traditional Vietnamese noodle soup and sandwich, their other dishes were also good. This will be my go-to when I want me some pho. Such a clean restaurant too!

Slightly pricey than regular Thai restaurant but was ok.. We ordered a vegetarian thai basil, fried rice.. it was spicyyyyyyyyyyyy .. we were actually seeing red chilies flakes on the rice and it was extremely spicy. Thought of calling them and returning it, but it was too late... we picked it just before they closed.. we also ordered a tofu drunken noodle.. noodle was good, but the tofu was really dry... it was ok ok. They had some humongous pieces of tofu which we couldn't eat.... Thai ice tea was good... or on an average experience.. 3/5

I ordered the chicken pad Thai one star, and the chicken paneng curry substitute the bell pepper for potato. I could hear the wok sizzling in the back. My food came out pretty quickly. The pad Thai is amazing, saucy which I love, and you can see little bits of the char from wok. The paneng was good, it was a little bland, almost like it needed more panang curry paste. Also I wish there were more vegetables in it without having to pay extra. My favorites I like to add in is baby corn, carrots and bamboo. There was enough food to last me three meals. They have good Thai food for the area.

Had Pad se ew, pineapple fried rice, massuman curry & crab Rangoons. Pineapple curry was probably the best dish but each dish felt overloaded with oil and very lacking in seasoning/flavor. The curry especially was a let down. It was mostly the most liquid soupy curry I've ever had, very little in terms of substance; meat/veg. The price was good but I don't think we will be returning... I'd rather go to Thai Waterside in Mukilteo and get truly flavorful food.

Food: Pad Thai chicken (17.95): we love pad Thai that's prepared with deep orange colors with that slight tangy sweet deep flavor with a heapy saucy coating. This was it. Delicious choice. Rice noodle was al dente too and just firm enough and not soggy. Easy 5 stars and did not disappoint. Great portion size too for dinner. Recommended if you like pad Thai. We have our running list of disappointing pad that experiences but Zab was shockingly delicious! It hit the spot!! Kow soi with chicken (17.95): also a delicious hit! We asked for no spice and it was still deep curried noodled dish. Usually this costs more at other places but it cost the same. Lovely rich flavors. This place lets you customize the protein instead of the typical chicken drumstick you get. Still delicious. Khao Soi lovers, hear hear! I'll keep the review short and sweet. Focused on the food. We were in and out within 40 mins before closing. Sadly we are not local so we are probably not going to be back but this was a great find! Lucky to those who live here!

We started with the pumpkin tempura. It was crispy on the outside, with a naturally sweet pumpkin inside. It was really delicious. It came with a dipping sauce, though the portion felt quite small. The side of lettuce and a chunk of purple cabbage felt a bit odd presentation wise, but once we wrapped everything together and dipped it, it tasted great. For my main, I ordered the vegan herb tofu salad with medium spice. It was mostly fried tofu tossed in a herb dressing with mint, tamarind, and cilantro. The flavor was a mix of sweet, spicy, and tangy. It honestly reminded me a bit of pani puri. That said, the sweetness was a bit overpowering and made the dish slightly sticky. If they toned that down, it would be perfect. We also tried the vegan 17th curry fried rice, which was good. The curry flavor was subtle. My toddler absolutely loved it. Overall, I would recommend this place, especially for vegans. The food was good, with the only downside being that some dishes leaned a bit too sweet for my taste. The service was okay, not exceptional, but not bad either. I had visited this place about three years ago on a busy Friday night and had a pretty poor service experience, so I wanted to give it another shot on a weekday. The food has improved, and the service was decent this time around.
