I just moved to Moraga and I was so excited to hear that they opened up this boba spot here in town! I couldn't believe it at first because i-Tea is the REAL DEAL in terms of good quality boba. This is for sure a gem in this small town. My usual (a Jasmine green milk tea) is what I almost always get, but I-Tea is when I like to switch things up a bit. Their Mango Sago is EVERYTHING. it is definitely a must-have on your visit. For an appetizer, I'd go with the egg puffs or the Takoyaki. The decor is the usual if you have ever been to another location (Alameda, San Leandro, etc.), which is beautiful. Came here to make time while my daughter was finishing up a school project with friends. They have a self order process but being my first time I needed recommendations. I wanted a thai tea and gentleman helped me and suggested to also try the basil popcorn chicken... and oh my goodness was that a mouth full of flavor. Excellent tea and customer service every time. Also wonderful that they offer food and snacks. The potato croquettes are especially tasty, even better than I've had at Japanese restaurants, where you often find croquettes. Legit boba in Moraga?! YES PLEASE!!! Living in the east bay past Oakland/Berkeley has its disadvantages including the lack of decent boba, ramen, and all the wonderful snacks that comes along with a boba joint. This i-Tea in Moraga doesn't disappoint and delivers all the flavors one would expect from a chain that came all the way from Taiwan. Their milk teas are legit, especially when you can customize your order to how you like it, not too sweet, and not full of ice! Not just the milk teas though, we ordered their ramen, fries and crispy chicken as well. Let me tell you, their ramen was quite amazing... the soup base wasn't simply brought to boil from a MSG packet, it was actually made from scratch and you can tell from its taste. Their french fries and crispy chicken are as you'd expect from a boba joint when it comes to deep fried snacks... mouth watering! Needless to say, now that we've discovered this place, we'll become regulars in no time!!! read more

Love their Ramens! It is by far the best ramen soup base I have ever had in the Bay Area. The taste is just right, but unlike other ramen soup base, this one isn't heavy and oily at all, and after the eating Ramen, I don't feel thirsty, it proves that there isn't no MSG in the soup. i miss my cashiers. i've come to get to know the previous cashiers incredibly well and had a true strong connection with. they were truly kind and actually cared about my concerns. all of the sudden they are never in the store anymore. it made my day getting to see them and ever since they have left i feel like the employee/customer relationship has decreases severely. if they don't allow the people who are kind to truly shine then i can't say that this business has a good sense of character, and that's something me and a great amount of fellow moragans value. please bring back my cashiers! read more

We didn't have anything like this in the Moraga Shopping Center before and I am thankful to have this as a new addition to my daily lunch routine... not that the yummy fried foods and noodles are doing me any favors! Recently started drinking boba tea after a trip to Seattle. Had some delicious flavors in Seattle like coconut and green tea. Was excited to come home and try our local place, especially after seeing great reviews. First, the menu is complex. I had heard "milk tea" was the thing to order so I tried one of those and my kids got drinks that were fruity. Both the fruit drinks were gross. We asked for "50 percent sugar" and both were really sweet. One of my daughters tried strawberry boba and the burst of strawberry like juice inside each of them tasted gross. My other daughter had regular boba and her drink tasted better. But, it upset her stomach and she spent the night throwing up boba. My milk tea drink was meh. Kinda bland. Had chunks of tofu like substance that clogged up the straw. Awful experience. Will definitely not be returning. read more

Great addition to the area! Taro frosty half sugar was delicious, with lots of chunks of taro (vs just powder flavoring). Basil garlic fried popcorn chicken was also very tasty, with big pieces of spicy garlic. Took awhile to come out but was piping hot and very large portion for the price. Tried this boba place for the first time and obv to be safe, I ordered taro Milk Tea. I would tell you, just by the color, it's not going to be good. Anyway, I took a sip and it had a bland taste. I have been to several boba place like Milk Tea lab, QUICKLY's, pekoe, and so on and they would exchange my drink whenever I don't like the taste of it. I was very excited to have an i-Tea in the neighborhood, but after buying different flavor Boba I'll not do it again. The taste is bad compare to the same flavor drinks from other i-Tea places. Stopping by almost everyday, perfect location as very close to campus, and there is a parking lot right outside the store. Could be very crowd sometimes around two to three, the whole place was full packed with students, takes quite a while to wait for the orders, but I would say it worth the wait. My order: durian sago and avocado smoothie, and I am grading five out of five! Just as good as usual. It was so good that feels like eating an avocado, and the durian sago has real durian inside!! Highly recommended if you like durian, it is a little bit pricy, but you will not regret. It's been open for only like two weeks and I already love this place! It's lively without feeling crowded, and the milk teas are top quality. Their Thai Iced Tea must have the perfect brew time - it's rich and flavorful but not bitter. And, like all Thai Iced teas, has a nice combination of sugar, fat, and caffeine! The service is fast and professional even though it's so popular. I haven't had their ramen because they don't have a fully-vegetarian broth base yet, but my husband liked his. *I miss having Asia Palace there, but the same family owns Golden Palace down the road, so you can still get the same Asia Palace food over there. read more
