I Scream Shop is a local business that sells ice creams, milkshakes, floats, sundaes, pup cups, ice-cream sandwiches, cookies, pound cakes, brownies, and more. I was a customer of theirs at the Juneteenth festival in downtown Pittsburgh. They were serving dairy ice-creams (e.g., butter pecan, strawberry, Oreo, cookie dough, vanilla, chocolate, super human [cherry, blue moon, and vanilla], cotton candy, yippee skippy [peanut butter, caramel, brownies, and chocolate-covered pretzels, and banana cream) and vegan Italian ices (e.g., raspberry lemon, strawberry hibiscus, watermelon, kiwi, and carrot mango). An employee kindly greeted me. She needed me to repeat my order, but the employees correctly assembled my sundae. I liked the flavors very much. Very nice ice cream shop, with a menu that offers all the classics as well as some very cool specialty items. I got to try out their brownies (they also serve a variety of baked foods outside of just ice cream) and their strawberry cheesecake milkshake. Both were delicious. I was especially surprised by how amazing the brownies were. Awesome portion size, very chocolatey, pretty rich, and great texture as well. The milkshake was also great. Portion was nice, and they managed to get a nice strawberry flavor. I will say the base itself doesn't have much of a cheesecake flavor to it, but they include little bits of cheesecake throughout the milkshake to make up for that. Stopped in during the heat wave to get something nice and sweet to cool me down. I was welcomed by a friendly staff that kindly asked if it was my first time (which I responded it was) then proceeded to give me a run down. I ended up getting the ice cream taco because it was something new to try! For my flavors I got the strawberry cheesecake and the kitty kitty bang bang topped with whip cream and golden Oreo crumbles. It was very messy but delicious nonetheless. I would recommend trying the taco but I probably won't get it again because it's messy and I was wearing a cute dress at the time. I will definitely be back as they had a lot of great flavors to choose from. Definitely recommend checking them out! read more

If you haven't ever had Wisconsin ice cream, you need to give it a try. The dairy is so different from what I've ever had. All of the ice cream is imported from Wisconsin, so it's the real deal. This ice cream shop has the most inventive flavors and the quality is bar none. The employees are knowledgeable and will let you try whatever you want so that you can make your selection. The toppings are fun, and they also have classic toppings, like hot fudge, fruit, and chocolate fudge. There's plenty of parking and a couple of places to sit inside of the shop. Stopped in at this new ice cream location in Forest Hills, in the Plaza shopping strip on Ardmore. Wow! Great ice cream! The very friendly owner, Yvonne, explained that her offerings are imported from the state of Wisconsin, and the quality is second to none...it's definately 10 year old grandson approved! His 68 year old grandpa agrees! Really, really good! The shop is clean and presents very nicely! Next summer I do hope they'll have some small tables and chairs outside. The price is quite reasonable for how delicious the ice cream is. We look forward to our next visit and another tasty treat! read more

Ice cream is delicious! Varying flavors all from Wisconsin. The shipping is clearly reflected in the price but it's not going to stop you from getting two scoops. I had s'mores and banana cream pie and both were amazing! The service was great and as friendly as the ice cream was tasting. The deal breaker on five stars.... A smidge goes to the price but the main thing is no indoor seating. Savoring the flavor at a table with friends and family is a huge part of the ice cream experience for me, so this was a miss. read more

This was a nice find in Forest Hills! There aren't really many small businesses in the area and this locally owned ice cream shop is worth stopping in. They have a great selection of unique flavors and also have pints you can buy. The chocolate waffle cones are tasty! The service was great and the inside is nice if you have a small kid with you. This place is GREAT! If you're in the area to get a Vinnie Pie, GO HERE. Grab a couple of pints to take home, you won't be disappointed! The ice cream is really high-quality, great flavors! If you don't know what to get, try the Exhausted Parent, everyone I know loves it. My favorite is the Zanzibar chocolate, finally an ice cream that has enough chocolate impact! The ice cream is pricey, but it is worth it. I just buy pints and go, can't speak for the scoops or dine in. read more

My absolute favorite is the darkest chocolate flavor (i'm forgetting the name- maybe Havana chocolate?) but it's the best I've had anywhere! I urge you to try this place. This is a must visit spot! They have such a variety of ice creams you just want to keep coming back to try every flavor. They also make their own waffle cones so definitely get a waffle cone with your Ice cream. The service was great and most importantly it's such a clean and well kept shop. I was so excited to support this business in my neighborhood, but sadly after the customer service I received I won't be returning to support. My special needs child was reprimanded by the cashier twice once for touching that glass (simply touching while he was looking at the ice cream) another time for spinning in circles which he can't help at times (even though he wasnt bothering anyone). our experience was not enjoyable. read more
