After calling ahead to make my manicure and pedicure appointment, I arrived five minutes early and was the first customer. The salon just opened and the staff asked me to check-in. I told them about my appointment and they set up a chair for my pedicure. After sitting in the chair for 5 minutes, two additional customers came in and they began their services before me (a pedicure and manicure). Finally 15 minutes later, my foot bath had gone cold, but someone finally came to begin my pedicure. The cost of the services was average, it customer service poor. read more

My nails are destroyed. I came here a few weeks ago to get a gel pedicure and Benjamin did my nails. He was rough and my toes were burning when we was using the electric filer but I powered through. Yesterday, I came in and was stuck with Ben again for my pedicure. When removing my gel polish from the previous visit, he was was too fast and rough with the filer. I was in so much pain that I yelped out "STOP"! He looked up at me shocked. When I looked down at my toes, I could see the pinks of my skin underneath my nail beds. He was removing multiple layers! OUCH! I told him to stop and that I wished to leave. He said several of my nails were broken and that he would like to glue them and try to fix them. My nail beds were in so much pain that I thought, well maybe that would help? NO! I told him again that I wished to leave and he starts throwing lotion on my legs to try and get me to stay! I got up from the chair, immediately went to the counter. They said $45 total! I told the woman... did you see my feet?! She said $45 total again! I should have stuck up for myself better and refused to pay, because when my toes calmed down from being bright red, I was able to see just how awful my feet were! I am sharing this to show that not everyone is trained correctly. He damaged my toes and I have to wait for them to grow out. Hopefully my nail beds will stop hurting after a few days. read more

I am not from this area and spent quite a bit of time checking out nail salon reviews. I settled on this place and was super happy with the result. They resulted my nails, had them done at another salon, to make them look nice me and I only asked for polish change. The pedicure was amazing. Hot stone massage was to die for. extremely disrespectful, they were talking bad about me and my girlfriend while we were waiting to get our nails done. We asked for simple smiley faces and they didn't know how to do that so we had explain to her in detail how to do it. she then continued to tell my girlfriend "you grow your nails out or don't come back" oh don't worry we won't be. the lady that did my fill spent 5 minutes on them going extremely fast, she cut me several times and even got the drill stuck into my nail and then ripped it out. another customer walked in and then she sent me to another person to do my nails because she didn't like the painting design i wanted. the painting job was HORRIBLE, she missed all sides of my nails and she didn't even glue my natural nail down to the acrylic. 10/10 would not recommend to ANYONE! i want to rip these nails off right now! read more

I went in for a basic medi/pedi. There was no wait, which doesn't happen often. I went in with someone and they separated us so we couldn't have a conversation. She got a fill in and was wanting a pedi as well. They took so long getting her fill in that by the time she was done, my medi/pedi was already drying. Her fill in was pretty expensive compared to prices I pay in Atlanta. It was $43 for her fill in. I can get a set in Atlanta for $35. The medi/pedi combo was fair at $32. They do have a "cash" discount but it doesn't really make a difference when you spend $80 on something that should have been less. They did a decent job on my nails. You could tell that they rushed the process. I probably won't return. read more

I Just moved to area a week ago and desperately needed my nails done. When I arrived early Sunday morning, they had were not busy so I was seated immediately. The lady who did my nails was very impersonal and seemed annoyed that she had to do my nails (possibly part owner) and not one of the other girls. I had SNS French. She hurried through my nails and didn't even offer a manicure or massage- as I am accustomed to. It has been a week and my nail has already chipped! My nails always last 1 month. i recently came to get my nails done and was looking forward to a nice relaxing afternoon. i was hardly greeted and felt rushed from the moment i walked in. it wasn't crowded and the woman doing my nails rushed through my service and seemed to really not care. i asked for a different color i had seen upfront and she pretended they didn't have it.. she rushed to then sit in the massage chair next to me and watch tv on her phone. i was disappointed to say the least. i will not be coming back. read more

I've tried other salons in the area where I had gift certificates and I'd rather spend my money to go here. They take their time and are skilled at what they do. First 3 visits were great and i received wonderful service, however, I made my 4th and last visit here last Monday. I arrived at 6pm for a French pedicure and French gel manicure (my nails were bare, i did not need a gel soak off) This usually takes this shop about an hour, the pedicure is 45 minutes per their menu and they simultaneously do the manicure, as I mentioned before this was my fourth visit. The salon closes at 730 so i knew there was plenty of time. They sat me down in the pedicure chair 5 minutes later. The lady started doing my gel manicure and was nice enough until I said i wanted a French manicure. Mind you, I asked for a French manicure and pedicure upon my arrival. While one lady was working on my hands another had started on my pedicure and anytime I had to move my feet to be scrubbed, cuticles cut, etc, the woman doing my manicure would yell at the woman doing my pedicure saying that if she messed up the French manicure, she would have to stay late with her to fix my manicure.....super awkward considering the pedicure lady was being very careful and even waiting for the manicure lady to stop before having me shift my feet. Anyways, the manicure was completed with out any mishaps in the shop, however he next day, the gel chipped which has never happened to me in the last 7 years that i have been gettin gel manicures. Please see attached pic. Now to the pedicure it's self: I think the lady was new....she didn't get around to painting my nails til 715 so I decided to get a light pink polish instead. Take a look at the attached pictures and see for yourself; it was a terrible, rush job and unfortunately i was still getting my nails done and had a huge pillow in my lap to hold the uv lamp for the gel that obstructed my view. The polish is all over my cuticles on each toe and there are uneven ripples of polish at the base of each big toe. To make matters worse, as soon as she was done painting she put my flip flops on and nicked my big toe. As i showed her (there was no way she didn't see it when she did it) the manager lady walked up to me and asked how will you be paying me today? So I handed her my debit card. At that point the pedicure lady was getting cotton and polish remover to fix her mistake when the manager started to speak to her in their language and angrily grabbed the bottle of acetone, soaked her finger and proceeded to tap down the area where the polish had been scrapped up and ordered her to put clear coat over it. Honestly that part doesn't look that bad and is hardly noticeable compared to the uneven ripples of the pink polish and pink polish all over my cuticles. I'm signed the credit card receipt, left their copy with tip, took my copy and walked to my car. Moments later the manger came running out to my car telling me that I had to give her the signed receipt. I told her I left it on the desk and she told me it wasn't there and that I needed to come back in. So I walked back in with my clutch and receipt in hand and she said there, that's the receipt I need and she pointed to my hand. I handed it to her and said that it was my copy. She shoved it back into my hand just as the other worker found my receipt. The manger looked at it and said is this yours with just a $10 tip for both your manicure and pedicure? I replied yes and walked out. The truth is that I didn't have to tip them anything for the level of service I received and the uncomfortable position the two ladies put me in during my services arguing about messing up my polish the whole time....but they still performed a service so i felt it was only right.....definitely not a relaxing spa visit and i will not go back, nor do I recommend anyone spending their money at this awful "salon". read more

I have been to this salon numerous times. I have done everything from a basic mani/pedi to SNS. The last SNS I received cracked within days, so this time I told them I just wanted a basic manicure and pedicure. They needed to soak off the SNS powder, which they have previously done for free, but charged me $10. I am a retired nail tech- this salon uses high quality products and charge customers a fair price. Most importantly, the pedicure implements are sanitized for every customer. I have been getting my nails done on and off here for several years. Quite honestly, only when my regular nail place couldn't fit me in. I would say I was happy with their services most of the time. However.... today is the second time that the male owner has been extremely rude to me when I pointed out very nicely that something needed to be redone. He verbally attacked me to be quite honest. The first time his wife apologized quietly on my way out the door so her husband would not hear. Today the other ladies that worked there apologized profusely for his behavior. All the lady next to me could say was "wow"..... I have never been treated so badly, or spoken to so horribly by anyone at place of business as I was today. Warning: DO NOT get your eyebrows waxed here!! The first woman who did them only waxed them and trimmed them so they were a straight line across my forehead. When I got to my car and looked in the mirror they weren't even the same size (one was longer in length than the other). Another woman tried to fix them, only to make them pencil thin and even worse. I have mixed feelings about this place. I've only been once and my experience was great. The techs were really friendly, offered refreshments, and gave a great massage with my pedicure. I was going on vacation so I decided to try a gel manicure. My nails typically don't grow fast so I don't know if maybe they didnt start the polish close enough to my cuticle but the color looked grown out really fast. And it started to peel in the areas closest to my cuticles about a week and a half in. I'm willing to give them another try since they're so close to my house so we'll see! read more

I am so picky when it comes to my nails and most salons it takes them a couple of months to adapt to your liking. At I Love Nails, however, they did the best job I have ever had with little instruction. I drive 45 minutes to go here... They are that good. I haven't gotten anything done except a fill in with colored powder, but very few places offer this service and the are so welcoming. They remembered me by name after one visit that was 2 months ago.
