I really wanted to like this nail salon, as it is very close to my house, but after multiple tries, it is a definite PASS. As soon as you go through the doors it is instantly chaotic. Every employee is asking you if you what you want and frantically asking you to pick a color. It almost seems like they want to dupe you into getting services you don't want by simply confusing you. Please, give people a moment to explain what they want. You are instantly rushed to a pedicure chair, where you will literally get an entire fill-in on your acrylics at the same time. This gets even weirder when the pedicure person sets a tiny alarm clock and shows it to you. I was like... "why are you showing me a countdown"...Apparently it's a timer to prove they're giving you the over-priced foot and leg massage that comes with your pedicure. Meanwhile, during this relaxing massage with a countdown timer glaring at you, and your ankle bone getting hammered by a hot stone, you may be getting your nails filled in by another technician. They're using a portable rotary tool, which is set too high to be near human skin and grinding at your cuticles. It's painful. Wincing at the pain and watching a timer. This is not relaxing. I have been four times. I wanted to like this salon and thought I just needed to find my person, but it's not going to happen. They do very generic nails, no artistry or flair. Don't ask for small-scale details. I made that mistake and it appeared like a toddler painted on my nails. I wanted to be kind and kept it on for three days until I simply could not look at my nails anymore. My acrylics are consistently dented and have specks of what looks like sand in them. The polish colors on the swatch look nothing like they do on your nail. Literally, nothing is clean. I made eye contact with a filthy brown stained pillow which was obviously once white. The employees and what I assume are their kids are eating fast food in the entry of the salon every time I've been in there. After my attempts to find a nail technician that is kind of cool, artistic, wants to have a conversation about what I actually want... I concede I will have to drive a little further. Thanks to my friend and fellow Yelper, Rhonda, I was steered here for a manicure. I GPS'd it, and was surprised to find out it's in the shopping complex just steps away from the Target I always use. Goes to show you how well I pay attention to things. I didn't realize the mattress store that used to be there had closed and that a new salon was there. My manicurist said they have been open about 3 months. The space is HUGE. I mean, immense. She said there's about 7000 square feet, which is a ton of area for a nail salon. And they have done a beautiful job decorating the salon. Pretty chandeliers and all brand new chairs and flooring all make for a posh experience. The music can put you to sleep here. It's like the kind of music you hear while getting a massage. My manicurist was awesome! Great attitude, super friendly. I had chosen this kind of white, but not too stark white polish, but when applied to my nails, I realized it was more see-through than I realized. She was so kind, and said no problem, and that didn't make doing an extra coat or two. She was all smiles, and just wanted to make sure I was happy. She even suggested finding another polish for my next visit that would be thicker if I wanted to use the same type color again. And she helped me find just the right sparkle polish for my fourth fingernails. In addition to the standard mani/pedis, they offer services for kids, and have cute pink kid chairs for them. Also, they do waxing, eyelashes, facials, microblading, and foot massages. Spacious, clean, great service, beautiful salon...don't miss this place if you are in the area. And they take Amex! Bonus! Allure Spa is one of the largest nail salons I've visited. The space is huge and they have many manicure and pedicure stations combined with a hallway of private rooms if you prefer to just get a foot massage with no nail service. I have visited Allure Spa a handful of times for gel manicures and pedicures. The service and quality of the work is average overall. The last time I went to get a gel manicure, my nail tech didn't seem to have much experience and had to ask his colleagues for advice and instruction. Honest Review. The shop is big and looks nice. My first visit was good. After that, it was terrible and service was worse. Within one week after my 2nd visit, my SNS started breaking on multiple nails. 1 week! One nail tore completely. I went back to just have the one torn nail redone. Once inspected, they said it would need to be completely redone. So, I did. Then, they charged me full price. I asked for a discount and got 20% off. I expected much more, at least 50%. The owner/manager said if I could tell him the name of the tech it would be different but I was a walk-in and couldn't. I could prove I came in with a cc receipt, but he blamed the technician. The irony is that I'm not even picky. I just expect to not have to go in every week for a full SNS. In summary, they charge more than other salons but the job is poor. They refuse to do anything about it. Who would go to a place like that? Good luck to anyone who tries them out. But, a shop like this exists on first time customers and walk-ins. The Good: * Very modern, spacious, & clean inside. * Seats approximately 25-30 people for pedicures. I seriously want to like this salon! The issue I have is the training for the staff is inconsistent so you'll get very different manicure/pedicure is from each individual. And when I try to make a reservation and they say they take appointments but they do not honor them. Walk in and they won't even ask if I have an appointment or even when I say I have an appointment they won't check my name and it's all first come first serve. Extremely horrible experience I went there thiS morning as asked for the $42 hot stone pedicure which includes a soft shoulder massage. I picked up my shade and walked to the chair therE were more shades so I askEd the lady what was the difference between the shades up front or the ones s kept up back, which she couldn't explain and didn't mention that I would be chargeD $15 extra to use them. As soon as I sat I told her I had to get my nail ingrowths without soaking my feet she proceeded to put out my nails and it was painful, which I told her she responded she wasn't doing anything. Due to the lack of understanding and communication I let it pass though I was feigning with pain She asked me to soak my feet and walked to the front counter where she was standing for 12 mins talking about something, then the guy behind the counter came and told me another lady would apply the nail polish as the one initially doing it had an appointment. The lady who put the Nail paint was nice, once done the First Lady comes back and with a grater grates my extremely dry feet which I feel is not done then puts sugar scrub a little above my ankle and washes it off puts my feet in the Luke warm water and disappears for another 10 mins, comes back with hot stones and rubs it on my feet for sometime ..... mE thinkingfinally something is starting, as soon as my thiught ends she wraps a warm towel wipes it puts cream/ lotion and says it's done To my disbelief I ask her it's done to reconfirm ivheard it correct..... she lifts my footware and puts them in my feet The lady sitting on the chair next to me who came it 5 mins aftEr me asked for a $42 massage is still having hers I complain at the front reception about no shoulder massage and lack of foot mAssage and they reduce $10 and add $15. I toLd them I was going to pay what I owed but was extremely unhappy with the service ...... the lady comes to sweet talk me into massaging my back and tries to tell me that the lady next to me came way later and she massaged my legs for very long. It's a clean place, but they aren't true to their word. I had called ahead of going in to see how much a manicure and SNS would be and was told $40 I went in, only got my cuticles removed and that's it I was charged $10 for "the French manicure". Never caught the guy who was doing my nails name (real nice) but he filed my nails so hard that part of my skin cut. When it came down to paying they charged me $55, which wasn't what I was told over the phone and I told the lady at the front desk that and her only response was "the person who told you doesn't know then" in a sassy tone. Thankfully the guy who did my nails told her to give me 15% off and when she did charged me $2 more! $2 won't hurt my bank account but for the people who are spending more than I what I did who knows if they are getting a "discount". Its overpriced for what you end up getting and some of the people working here aren't even trained properly. A basic pedicure was $32; nothing special about it. I was expecting a great leg massage but she just rubbed my leg. Got a French manicure; looked ok inside (one nail got messed up and instead and removing and re-doing, they painted over the error). Got in my car and see the clear polish they put on was clumpy. The last place I went to my paint chipped off my toes in less than 2 days and it looked like I had painted them (not a good thing). I had my toes done at Allure on June 4th with a flower design and they still look freshly done on June 24, even after tennis and walking in my nursing clogs all day. 2 thumbs up!! read more

They give THE BEST pedicures ever, which is why I gave it a one star. I would give this place negative stars if it were reviewing the SNS that they do. SNS is suppose to last 3 weeks. My nails lasted three days before cracking and one week before they started breaking off. The manager was very kind and did have my nails redone for free on Sunday. Sadly, one of my fingers is already cracked and it's again....day three of having them done. I'm not sure if they false advertise or if they don't have people properly trained but I am not hard on my nails....washing dishes and doing household chores shouldn't cause "acrylic" to crack like this. I'm extremely disappointed. I'm going to go back one last time to have it correct and if it doesn't last at least two weeks I'm going to change salons completely. The place is beautiful, clean, welcoming and comfortable. This will definitely be my go to nail place! Tina did my pedicure and eyebrow waxing. I went today for the first time and I was really impressed with this new salon. I had a mani and pedi and I loved both technicians I had. The spa was super clean and very spacious. The tech who did my pedicure was amazing, and I had a better foot massage from her than I received by going to a very high end day spa in Avalon a few weeks ago.
