I was in the area waiting on Kohl's to open and stopped here to get a pedi. Service was not pleasant and the person doing my feet didn't even speak. That wouldn't be an issue if the pedicure wasn't one if the worst I've ever had. Polish job was thick and SLOPPY and after sitting under the dryer for dam nearb30 minutes I had to get someone else to correct the mess. The one who originally did my nails was too busy to do it right or even bother to correct it!! Definitely won't be visiting here again!!!! read more

Lavish is newly renovated and it looks like they put a lot of money into the new aesthetic, unfortunately everything else completely missed the mark for me. I walked in and was the only one in the salon and asked for pricing and the guy had to call the owner because he didn't know the price of a gel pedicure. The brochure I picked up had sharpie written in at $47 but he said the price for the basic sport pedicure was $52--expensive but I decided to give them a chance. It seemed like it was their first day on the job. No customer service skills and seemingly lost and confused. Very awkward experience. I was offered room temperature water, which isn't the norm at nail salons. Usually there's a mini fridge to keep the drinks cold at least. I was still the only customer and it took 30 minutes of sitting before even one toe hit the freezing cold water. Far from a relaxing experience. They gave me the wrong color from what I selected but I just went with it. The pedicure didn't even include a foot massage or top coat polish but it did include an additional credit card processing fee pushed onto the consumer. Thanks but I'll pass. read more

This is definitely my Salon of choice! I am totally satisfied at each visit. About 6 weeks ago, I went to a Salon in North Forsyth, after another appointment nearby. It had just opened. The next day, my big toe was enflamed and then 4 toes became painful. I returned to this Lavish Nails, where I have been getting my nails done since the previous owner had the shop. They informed me that I now have fungus in 4 toenails! They did an exceptional job of cleaning and treating it, had a liquid for me to apply twice daily and encouraged foot baths with Himalayan Salt, which I have been doing. Today, which is two weeks later, I returned for the same optimal care. Going to the wrong Salon is costing me dearly, because the fungus will persist for 6 months, till the nails grow out completely. So ... be safe! This is a salon that can be trusted to give whatever care is needed in a quiet, friendly and competent manner. "Try it; you'll like it." read more

My nails chipped within 4 days of getting them done. When they were finished I had to go home to re-file them and they were not filled in on the sides. For the price I was paying I was not expecting them to be done so cheaply very disappointing and will not be back. My last salon is less expensive and last a lot longer. read more

I have been a client at Lavish Nails since February of this year and I cannot imagine going anywhere else. Angel ALWAYS delivers and keeps my nails looking good! I only do gel polish on my nails and toes and I NEVER have a problem with chipping polish. I go in to the salon every 2 weeks for fill ins and pedicures and the service is ALWAYS impeccable! Everyone is always so polite and I genuinely feel that they appreciate me as a customer. Whenever someone walks in to the salon they are immediately greeted and seated if there is a seat available at that moment. We are offered water as well. I have been getting my nails done here regularly for almost a year now, and I have never been let down. Will does my nails, and he has been able to execute any design I've asked for perfectly. Service is always fast, prices are more than fair, and I have always been treated kindly and respectfully. I live pretty far from the salon (about an hour out) and it is always worth the drive. Booking is very easy, but I definitely recommend booking ahead of time as slots do fill up quickly. I can genuinly say I don't see myself ever going to another salon as long as I live in Atlanta! read more

This place is horrible not only in appearance but in customer service as well. If you want a luxurious experience you're better off going to Pharaoh nails up the road. It's wayyyyy better in appearance, customer service and integrity. Will is very rude and he will choose to charge you any outrageous price that he wants bc no prices are listed in this shitty establishment. I definitely don't think he really respects black woman. I would definitely boycott this establishment if you're a black woman and choose to support someone who actually respects us and not just so they can take our money. I came in one night wanting something from their instagram, the girl tried her best and I appreciate her patience but I went in politely to have them fixed because the did not look like anything I showed her. I asked for them to just be shaped differently with an all over polish and she argued with me on having to do them the same way she did the first time. Had a great experience at Lavish today!! First time here and Helen took care of me! She did a wonderful job and was very patient and thorough but didn't take too long to do my nails. I had a really tough set on before and wanted a new one, other salons will give me a hassle and try to convince me to just get a fill in but she just went to work on those things and got them off!! My nails don't chip, they don't peel off, and they are always beautifully done. Everyone on staff has been incredibly kind and I receive fantastic customer service. I guess if will isn't your nail tech then your nails will be crap. I Tried to make an appointment with him and he said he was booked for the rest of the year which is no problem but then he said how there is another tech their that does good designs and nails (Luke) so I said okay I would give him a try, now I am very picky with my nails and who does them because not everyone cares about nail care or can do nails, when I first arrive he tells me that luke will be there shortly he's running late, an hour later luke shows up. As he's doing my nails, he is cutting the nail tip into the coffin shape and I tell him that two of my nails are crooked, he notices this and tries to fix it and then says that once he applies the acrylic powder it will "fill out". (At this point I realize that he is new at doing this but I said let me relax and just give him a chance it's the holidays) the application is so awful, he's pulling and holding my hand so tightly and applying the acrylic powder so thick on the nail. Then he is filling them so roughly and when he proceeds to use the drill to buff out, he Knicks me on my cuticle. After he is done he asks me if I like it and I said "yes" JUST TO BE NICE. Fast towards 4 days later, 4 DAYS!!! I placed my hand INTO my pocket and my pinky finger breaks. I was so pissed off because I had just gotten my nails done 4 days before and I'm already breaking a nail?! So I call them up immediately and I told them that I need to get my nail fixed. After I arrive, will begins to fix my nail and he proceeds to ask me who did my nails and I told him and he's looking at my nails and noticing the crooked nail other errors, then he proceeds to tell me how I need to be more careful since my nails are long and high they aren't. (They're coffin shaped...) this was Wednesday night. It is now SUNDAY night and and I grabbed wrapping paper off the ground and placed it UNDER my couch and my thumb my has broken. At this point I'm livid because it has now been an official ONE WEEK and I've broken 2 nails which is completely unacceptable. The reason I know that this is awful work and cheap materials they use is because both the nails that broke, I didn't feel them break at all. And when I look at the broken nails, the application is extremely awful AGAIN. If will isn't doing your nails then don't go here. If you want 2 nails broken and crooked nails then PLEASE go here. It's cheap chop shop work and they don't care about your nails. I wasn't going to leave a review even from the first broken nail because I gave this new guy and place a chance but after the second broken nail I felt it was REALLY needed to leave this. read more
