The salon is hands down beautiful, serene, and definitely "posh". Everyone was so kind! They accommodated us immediately and didn't mind us gabbing on and on catching up after not seeing each other for a while. The color selection is large enough that I found my go to shade fairly quickly. We opted for the powdered milk highest end pedicure and a basic manicure. Heavenly! My polish got smudged twice and while they were quick to fix it, I wish they'd just redone that particular toe nail over instead of spot correcting since it was fairly evident that portion of the nail did not match the rest. I let it go in the interest of time, but after leaving I noticed even my finger nails could have used a second coat. I could visibly see the polish lines. Got home after some errands and the spot corrected nail had completely ruined, which was frustrating. All on me for not being vocal, but a bit disappointing since I simply trusted that it'd be done right. Went to pay and almost completed my transaction before my gf noticed they had a 20% discount advertised, but they didn't apply it to our bills. Had she not said anything, I would have paid the full price and gone about my day. That's definitely predatory on the salon's behalf and pretty disheartening/disappointing to almost have be taken advantage of. Watch your bill! I think the one thing that truly irked me is that they asked me if they could put my purse on another chair, which is completely fine, but threw a dirty rag on top of it and left it there. I was appalled when I looked over and saw what they'd done as it's a suede purse that absolutely should not have any kind of water on it. That's 100% a no-no regardless! Disappointed With My Pedicure…read more I've gotten my hands/nails done here before and they were amazing, so I decided to come back this time for a pedicure. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed. All of my toes are either too short or crooked, and they don't match each other at all. They're also messy, with gel left on my skin. I've already had to go home and fix the shapes myself and remove the gel from around my toes. I told her multiple times that my toes were crooked, and she only fixed one of them. For $50, I'm honestly pretty upset because this was not worth the money. If you want your hands/nails done, I would definitely recommend American Nails. However, if you're looking to get a pedicure, I would recommend going somewhere else in Dawsonville called Angels Nails and Spa for a pedicure. Unfortunately, I would not come back here for my toes.

I have a new spot I go to in Cumming that's right down the road from my house, but recently I was in Alpharetta running some errands and decided to go back to Posh for a pedicure before my baby shower which was the next day. I've never had a bad experience, and the staff is just so welcoming and warm. They do take walk-ins which is nice when it's a spontaneous decision like I made, but you can also make an appointment ahead of time for a specific time slot and day. The massage chairs are so comfortable, and everything feels very organized and clean. They usually have the TV on with a family friendly show or movie, and offer different service options depending on your needs and price point. I love that you get to choose your scent for the scrub (even with the lowest tiered option for a pedicure), and usually go with lemon or lavender. I never feel rushed which is super important to me, and all the estheticians are incredible and meticulous.
