Cute little Cafe. They actually had lactose milk for my coffee. That's a first. The carrot cake was delicious. Nice ambience!

At Esquires, I don't know what it is, machine, bowl, care, milk or what...... but just the most lushest velvety foam ever. Never had a bad cap and will literally drive 20 mins out of my way past 10 coffee joints for their cap fare. I never get it to go, only china plz, sit outside and enjoy the lazy goings on. I always sprinkle generous amounts of chocolate on top (not cocoa-yech). They give you this tiny coke spoon and you'll use it on that billowing mound. Don't know why so many Eq. have closed. This one remains tucked away in a cozy location on Crescent road. Catch it before or after the beach. Especially cozy inside on a rainy day. TIP: grab a heavenly, warm, gooey, real french linen, 1M calorie cinnamon bun down below at Fieldstones. Thats it .....I've talked myself into both....leaving now with my best 4 legged friend. I visited Nemesis Coquitlam to get some pastries…read more What I got: Pull apart - croissant dough filled with chives and cream cheese, Pesto mozzarella swirl -Pesto and mozzarella cheese, Ferrero rocher danish - Hazelnut praline, chocolate mousse, vanilla custard Pistachio loaf - pistachio ganache and raspberries. Pull apart was lighter than I expected. Other place's pull apart was so buttery, cheesy, however, this one was flaky and buttery, so, if you prefer light texture pull apart, you will like it. Cream cheese filling was nice accent. Pistachio loaf was more dense than I expected. It had pistachio whipped cream on top, so, cream helped loaf texture more smooth. Loaf had strong pistachio flavor. I liked whipped cream and loaf combination. Pesto and mozzalera swirl was a bit too salty for me. Dough was super flaky and buttery, I liked the dough texture so much, but filling could be more minder. Unfortunately, I did not have ferrero rocher danish. I heard that this one was the best. Mousse was so delicious and dough was very flaky and buttery. Overall, I think their pastries are always outstanding and good quality. The place was extremely busy and could not get a table. Next time, I wish I could dine-in.

It was pretty busy on a Saturday afternoon with only bar seating available initially, but not too long after some sofa space opened up. I was OBSESSED with the ube matcha, I learned from the super awesome barista that it's sweetened with mango puree. This was absolutely my favorite matcha I've had in a while now and my only disappointment is they don't offer larger sizes for it. The smoked salmon bun was pretty small for $10, I also didn't think the flavors were meshing well. Also found the pull apart stuffed cream cheese croissant a bit misleading. I pulled it apart and there was barely any filling unfortunately. Definitely a cute and inviting spot to grab a drink and stay a while. I wouldn't go for food food here though. Also I have yet to try, but maybe a dessert item here would be more worthwhile.

We ordered the parm fries, which were good, decent size order and priced well. We also ordered the Thai sweet chilli chicken bites, but very disappointing. This was just a chicken strip cut into infant size bite pieces and topped with sauce. Laughable... we didn't take a pic. Save your money on this one and just order chicken strips. And lastly, we ordered the gyozas, but these were undercooked and sent back. This is the first time that we were disappointed, so will maybe wait a while before trying them again. The server did also give us a piece of carrot cake for the troubles, and that was nice of her.

There was a music set up off to the side with a DJ/harp/canned musak. Furniture is brightly coloured but seems like it's from Wayfair as the chairs weren't sturdy. Asked for a double espresso, it was brought in a very large coffee cup so that it was luke warm and bitter. First waste of money. Ordered the patty melt, no bread, and side salad. Waiter said dressing was homemade. The burger was small and dry as a bone and barely a tbsp of cheese not melted. The dressing was so sweet and tasted of no flavour I'd ever had, so it was left. The Rueben was a laugh. Hardly any meat or cheese. Bread was so greasy. Barely any sauerkraut, so it wasn't really a Rueben. The small amount of Caesar salad that it came with had alfalfa or broccoli sprouts with shredded lettuce. And it's expensive. I don't usually give negative reviews but someone dropped the ball on our meal. The server never came back until she was clearing our plates and that's when she asked if everything wasn't ok. Obviously not her fault, she's not the cook. Good luck

A bit different than the standard breakfast menu. I had the halipino omelette and my partner had the mushroom omelette. I'm sure it is made with three eggs as it was a lot. It came with thin chopped potatoes and toast. There was plenty for us. This is a small dinner and the tables are the 50's theme. Chairs were newer. Big wall scenes enhanced the place. The owner was extremely friendly and I believe his wife does the cooking. Service was great and there were about 6 tables on going when we left. All were served quickly. The food came hot. It didn't sit around under food warmers. The place opens at 830 which I thought for a breakfast place is a little late for opening.

This "diamond in the rough" cafe is just what any hard-working business needs as the go-to next door joint Conveniently located as they are, they're available for dine-in, take-out, or Food Delivery apps such as UberEats/SkipTheDishes. NOTE: menu prices are subject to change when using food delivery apps- so shop around! This time around I ordered UberEats, for pickup. My coworkers have ordered from here numerous times and finally.. today was my day. The ambiance was clean, open, and inviting upon entering and I was greeted with a big smile from the man behind the counter, serving two dine-in customers. I was welcomed and given my order, waiting, very quickly, by the front door, and was soon on my way back to work. The Cajun Chicken Burger was tasty, and cooked just right, though the spices were to be desired. I love my Cajun food, but here, they were overwhelmed by the other accoutrements on the bun itself. It almost may as well have been salted/peppered at most. That said, the Two juicy pieces of white meat chicken? How can you go wrong! The only way, would be if you don't ready yourself with some napkins - my chicken was sliding all over l, out of the bun, and my hands were covered in mayo. But, it was worth it to pop those birds back in and chomp away~ My fries were crispy, crackly, and fluffy on the inside, without too much grease. They were fried to perfection and when paired with the delicious gravy (tastes like chicken!) I was beyond pleased. Smooth, creamy gravy with savoury notes, that tastes homemade? Yes, please, all day~ To round it out, I also got myself an English Toffee coffee to go. Hot, smooth, creamy, and buttery all rolled into a delicious brew, to go. Again, how can one complain? If you're looking for a tasty bite with a smile, at a slightly higher cost than fast food (because this trounces those joints), in a convenient location, that hits it out of the park every time with what they dish out, then Rosie's door is open and waiting for you to sit down and prepare to be satiated~!

I ordered an iced latte with almond and the person at counter asked if I wanted oat like they didn't hear me. Oh well, got a cous cous salad, kid wanted a cookie and breakfast panini. The cookie was alright, not very sweet ( oatmeal raisin) and kind of dry. The greek cous cous salad wasn't bad - could use more veggies as it was 80/20 cous cous to veg and it was pretty filling! The breakfast panini looked good but O had the other half my kid couldn't finish and I liked how crisp the bun was and the maple bacon was good but something about the eggs reminded me of the eggs from the Ikea breakfast which imo is not good. Next time I'll just do coffee & carrot cake ( it did look good!) While the food we just had was okay, i would say the space is more like being in someone's house. Large space with lots of seating and tables. There is a tv, books and board games so a good place to hang out. Good sized parking lot and outdoor seating.
