First off, the staff were all extremely nice and helpful during our whole time there. While the menu does say unlimited, there is a 90 minute time limit and they do bring out the cuts relatively slowly. Not the end of the world, but just something to note. That being said, the food was fantastic and felt very high quality. We ordered the "Makase" course, where I personally LOVED the marinated meat (please try this lol) and the ribeye steak cuts. While the outside is very unassuming, the inside felt very upscale, modern, and sleek. Our group was larger so we ate at the front, longer tables; however, there were many smaller, cozier booths in the back. Overall, I would 100% recommend you to try this place at least once. We made our reservation on Resy and went on a Wednesday night to celebrate a birthday. We enjoyed the AYCE for two people, and left feeling super full! We also added the cold noodle, sorbet, Jeju cocktail, and tea. We started with the non-marinated cuts of Wagyu. I would recommend starting off with the fatty pieces as when you get full you would prefer the leaner cuts. Then we were given the marinated cut for the second round, which we also really enjoyed. It was like a Korean pear marinate. We were also given banchans which were lettuce, kimchi, onion salad, and apple vinaigrette salad. After each piece of meat were cooked, they were cut and left on the side for you to enjoy and give suggestion to which salt or dipping to use. I really liked that they cooked everything for you. The staff were very friendly and helped us in choosing which cuts for our 3rd round. We probably did about 4 more cuts of meat after the first 2 rounds and we were beyond full. We ate and left less than an hour. I had saw other comments about people leaving hungry but I would have to say that was the opposite of my experience. This was truly a decadent dining experience all around and definitely a treat-yourself cheat meal. I walked in an hour and a half before closing as a party of one. I don't know what it is, but there is something so indescribably indulgent about having a quiet booth and a giant platter of A5 wagyu all to yourself. The service here is top-notch and made me believe I had my own personal chef for the night. They did an excellent job explaining the different cuts, best pairings, and provided recommendations based on my tastes. Every bite melted in my mouth and verbally whispered to myself "oh my gosh" every other bite. The banchan were excellently prepared as well and paired well with the meat. I will admit that around the 4th/5th course of the wagyu omakase, my palate was starting to get overwhelmed with the richness of the meat. I really enjoyed tasting the different cuts -- as someone with relatively minimal knowledge of A5 wagyu -- and found it educational. However, the different courses started to blend together and I had forgotten the names of the cuts that I found to have the perfect amount of fat by the end. After hearing about this place over a year ago, this has been a bucket place of mine and I'm glad that I finally had a chance to go! I've read past reviews about this place and I knew that with the high fat content from the wagyu, I knew I had to pace myself. I felt like eating a lot of the banchan (vegetable based) and a bowl of rice helped a lot, and I didn't really feel much side effects to be honest. My favorite Wagyu was actually the marinated one (2nd course). I think the marinate includes apple and pear if I remembered correctly. For the refills (3rd+ courses), I liked it so much I got another serving of it! I enjoyed the service. However - one thing that did bother me was that they enforce their "leftovers" policy. The banchan was SO good and it's unlimited so we ordered more as the night went on. The cuts were all beautiful and marbled and very tender. They cook everything for you so you just need to grab your own pieces when they set the meat to the side! We all left super full! It's definitely a luxury experience more than anything with the high quality wagyu cuts so it's worth a try but I don't think I'll be going back any time soon. Our first stop on our New York City food tour was an absolutely wonderful experience. The place itself is really pretty, on the quieter side, and just a must visit. There are three rounds: unmarinated wagyu with lean and fatty cuts, marinated wagyu, and then the option to reorder either the lean and fatty cuts or the marinated wagyu. Since it is all you can eat, you can technically reorder everything. We were also given two different salts, truffle salt and red wine salt, both of which were delicious additions to the meats. However, the meat itself was so high-quality that it did not need any seasoning at all. I do not remember the names of each cut since we were presented with 12 different ones, but I can say that every single cut was incredibly tender and practically melted in our mouths. Everything was amazing. Banchan, which are Korean side dishes, was also provided. I was especially impressed with the salad, which was nicely dressed with a sweet yet balanced sauce. Other sides included a vinaigrette-based salad, kimchi, lettuce and onions, and more. Our table definitely took advantage of the lettuce strips to wrap the meats, adding a lighter and fresher touch to each bite. The service was hands down top-notch. Every little detail was attended to. Straw wrappers disappeared as soon as we opened them. Water glasses were constantly refilled, and our rice bowls were never empty. Tenzien was exceptional. However I loved the addition of truffle seat and red wine salt to compliment as well. Only thing missing was ice cream included at end of meal but overall so so good. The bathroom situation was not the best, only two bathrooms so lines were often long and long wait. However they had great quality and scent of soap and lotion. It says all you can eat but since they are cooking for you, they space out the timing and cap you. We could still eat more so we tried to order another round of marinated meat during last call along with 2 other cuts of meat but they did not allow us. Their servers are very attentive and polite. Their A5 wagyu quality is very fresh and buttery! It definitely gets fatty even after the first round of non-marinated but for the price of wagyu, I think $159 pre-fixe is pretty worth it. The marinated meats are so mediocre, it takes away from the quality of the meat and it's a bit over-marinated. I really enjoyed their side salad & scallion salad, all their veggies were very fresh. Came here with 2 friends on a Monday evening. We got the omakase, 1 order of Sot-Bap, a cocktail, glass of wine, hot tea, and 3 scoops of ice cream for dessert. It is fatty for sure, so we ended up getting full pretty quickly. We did 1 "encore" round which is essentially getting to order again, but you are not able to choose the cut - only your preference between leaner cuts, fattier cuts, or mixed. We went with leaner cuts. Your meal comes with spicy scallion, a side of kimchi, and lettuce. There's also red wine salt, truffle salt, Sam jang, and wasabi to pair with your meats. The uni & truffle sot bap was actually really mid for us. There's tons of reviews raving about it here but at $130 it was disappointing :/ if I was to go again, I'd probably skip on the rice and just order the side of uni instead. For dessert we got the shiso ice cream & the hojicha ice cream. The shiso was more of an icy consistency and almost had an apple flavor to it. Super refreshing and a great way to end the meal. But I loved the leeks and also onion salads. I got one of their mocktails as well and it was really tasty and helped cut through some of the fat in the later meal. We ordered the All You Can Eat Wagyu, a side of uni and for dessert we got a hojicha ice cream. The Wagyu was very tasty. I loved the first round of meat and the marinated short ribs the most.
