I purchased a groupon for cleaning of one ac, dryer vent and return. When the company came to do the cleaning they told me they would not clean the dryer vent unless I payed more for deeper cleaning since it had been 4 years since I cleaned the dryer vent. I was not informed of this when I made appointment nor was it in fine prints of groupon. Told them to leave and got a refund through groupon. Will never use this company again as I felt it had deceiving advertising. read more

I was in need of what I thought was a simple air duct cleaning. The professionals at Hydrocare showed me that I was in DESPERATE NEED of a deep cleaning of my air ducts. They could have easily performed the service I paid for off Groupon and then upcharged me more. Instead, they rescheduled to perform the deep cleaning at a reduced cost. They came in, cleaned the vents and the ducts with precision and detailed all that they did. The guys came out & cleaned my sofa & did a good job. They texted me when they were on the way, which I really appreciated since I had an 8a-10a Time slot. Super nice, cleaned up after themselves, very pleased w/the customer service. Couches looked good as new, even after drying, however the smell, I'm embarrassed to say from my dogs, was back after the couch dried. Summary: Received horrible service, the man (Jacob) who came to clean my vents was rude from the moment he walked in. Argued with me about the price that we already agreed upon a few weeks earlier. Angrily left after I refused to pay upfront instead of after he cleaned the vents. He came back after I spoke to his boss (Michel). He lied to his boss and said I was not home. Spent less than 10 minutes cleaning my dryer vents and did not do a good job at all. I asked him to wait a few minutes to make sure my dryer was working he got angry, aggressive, and cursed at me. He called me a fraud and threatened to call the cops. I told him I would call the cops myself and he told me not to and continued to pressure me to pay him. I paid him because I wanted him out of my house. He was cursing in a different language the whole time and even made racist comments about me. I have tried to call Michel about this but he has not returned my calls. read more

I live in central Phoenix and Patrik from Hydrocare came out to clean our carpets that have quit a few dog markings. I was very pleased with my experience from the start. I was quoted that he would arrive between 10-12. He called me around 10:30 to let me know he would arrive closer to noon. This was nice as I could plan my day accordingly. I was a bit embarrassed as how dirty my carpets were when he poured out the water extracted from the flooring into the utility sink. I ordered a deep cleaning on my carpets, due to having a dog and two young kids. Patrick came and did a great job. No complaints.

Good and Bad. HydroCare responded quickly and scheduled our appointment within a couple days. The tech was friendly and professional. He arrived on time after giving us a 20-minute heads-up. The charges were as estimated. The work was done very quickly. BUT, I was asked to sign the agreement that "all work was done to my satisfaction" before they even started. And the treatment for pet stains was hydrogen peroxide--just sprayed on and left to work (after the cleaning was performed). No rinsing. Consequently, we now have larger pet stains than before and the carpet is discolored. Also, there were several spots that were missed altogether but revealed with a blacklight. I'm going to rent a Rug Doctor and give it all another once-over with just plain water. Maybe I can get the stains and bleached-out spots to match better. I wish I'd done it myself from the start. read more

I found Hydro Care Services on Groupon and they were offering a special on carpet and upholstery cleaning. We were just moving in and needed them cleaned right away. Within 30 minutes of me leaving a message Michel contacted me back and let me know they could squeeze me in at noon. He and a gentlemen showed up on time and was able to clean both couches within an hour. They did a fantastic job and got the smells out of the couches, they even offered a military discount. [UPDATE] So, I had a follow-up conversation with the gentleman to schedule his service for Wednesday and now he tells me Wednesday is no longer available! This is so frustrating! In fairness to him, in the course of our second conversation I began to think perhaps he is a one-man band and that I should cut him some slack. I informed him of the impression he gave me from our first conversation --- that he wasn't genuinely interested in Groupon work. to which he responded, "no, Groupon is fine." He apologized for the impression he gave me, so I will take him at his word. So, I will withdraw my 1-star review though I remain frustrated that he's unable to schedule me before the week is out - when earlier, he could. Maybe it's because he DOES have a great service? :) I wish him the best and hope for a clean carpet some time soon. **I will update this review once I'm able to schedule their service and have them perform the cleaning. I was looking to get these guys to come in and clean carpeting for home I was moving into. The guy sounded enthused and interested UNTIL I mentioned I had heard about them through Groupon. His enthusiasm dropped markedly and then began to suggest the cleaning services would be sub-standard. He asked if there were any pet stains, and I told him there were none that I could tell. "All I'm looking for is your standard 5-star service that I've read about. Nothing out of the ordinary. Unfortunately, his demeanor expressed a lack of interest in my business. "The earliest I could do would be Wednesday," he told me in a "take-it or leave-it manner." If I decide to use them I will re-visit this review. I bought a Groupon and a Living Social for 2 different services, I was told when I called them that only one could be used. OK, I get it. I asked if there were any other costs, was told that if I wanted Scotchgard on my furniture it would be an extra $40. Agreed to this, even though I could buy a few cans of Scotchgard for $10 and do it myself. The technician Alex showed up, and stated he would charge $60 for stain remover application. I asked how it could possibly cost $60 to merely spray a chemical on. I needed stain removal so was forced into paying for this too. When wet, the couches looked clean, but as soon as they dried the stains were still there. So very unhappy with my service, will never use them again read more
