In the end, the carpets are clean and look great. However, there were some issues with the day of the service. 1) The technician called ahead, which I really appreciate, and said he'd be there in 10 - 15 minutes. I went to the house to open up and he didn't show until 30+ minutes after the call. Annoying! 2) There is a driveway at the house and then some additional concrete going towards the front door. It is not wide enough for a car and, I think, clearly not part of the driveway. But, after the technician checked in with me, he got in his van and drove right up to the front door. I asked what he was doing, and he said he was trying to get closer to the hose spigot. "But you drove on the front lawn? There are sprinklers. What are you doing?" He moved his van back to the driveway. His equipment reached the house and spigot just fine from there. But, he left tire marks on the concrete pad. I did ask him to clean it off and he did. Really weird though. Again, the carpet looks good, but you may need to keep and eye on the technician. read more

We called HydroCare Services, (with a Groupon), had a Microfiber Love seat, and a cloth recliner that need to be cleaned. Yes, they were very dirty, and did I mention reeking of human urine......( have a relative that had a few accidents on them.) We scheduled an appointment for 9:00 a.m., they called at about 8:00 and confirmed the time, and showed up on time. Michel and Goe, work as a team, and did an outstanding job of explaining what needed to be done. The prices they quoted was the price we payed. (We had had another Large company give a quote for the same job...this quote was 2.5 times more, even with the 40% off that was being advertised). Goe, and Michel did a Outstanding job of cleaning these two pieces, and let me know if there was any problem, that they would come back @ no extra charge and fix the issue. Purchased a Groupon and should have known better than I was getting the typical carpet cleaning "bait and switch." The Groupon was for 3 rooms of hot water extraction only with no cleaning agent. As we all know, hot water isn't going to do much cleaning alone. Do you wash your hair with just hot water and no shampoo? Or what about dishes do you use dish soap or just water?? So I added on an actual cleaning agent for $30 a room. Once the product was applied and the rooms cleaned, they turned out good. The tech put on booties once I did the "add on's, something that I would have expected to be worn wether or not I purchased additional services. The tech did a good job and made sure that I was happy with the end results. So it's typical bait and switch pricing, just know that in order to get a good cleaning you have to add an on actual soap. read more

We have two area rugs that are favorite destinations for the dog to pee on. We need the rugs cleaned more often than is typical (how long do dogs live??) and HydroCare does a great job of coming out and cleaning them in place. I always do research on companies before I choose them for business and I read the reviews religiously. I've never done business with this company before but based on the owner's response to the "not so good" reviews speaks volumes to their customer service. It's hard for a company to please every customer, but it is easy for the company to offer good customer service in ever scenario, good and bad. The owner's demeanor and responses were very rude and condescending. Although he offers his service through Groupon, he talked down on Groupon and the person who purchased it like that person did not deserve good service. Technician came to my property and the quoted price had changed. I spoke with the owner and had to re-negotiate the price after he claimed he didn't agree to seal the tile they were there to clean. When the job was finished I went to write them a business check as this was a rental property they informed me they don't take checks. They wanted Zelle. I had to set up a zelle account to pay them. They then didn't receive it right away and I got a very angry call from the owner. I had to call my bank have the funds returned and re sent funds which they received. They promised me an invoice by email which I still haven't received after several phone calls and text messages, so that I can get reimbursed from the business account. Michel was on time (both visits), respectful of home and privacy and pays attention to detail. He honored his guarantee and came back a second time to treat a couple of stubborn pet stains. Before each visit, I was sent a text reminder of the appointment the night before. While cleaning, he was aware of his hoses, lines and equipment and ensured that when he was pulling them through the house, they were not scraping against the walls and white baseboards. They came out the very next day. They were able to quickly remove all the stains and had the sofa looking better than before the stains.
