After reading other duct companys reviews i was really worried, but I was very impress from the start with HG. MARIO was very open and up front about the process and the price. Not having someone clean ducts for me before, I asked many questions to make sure i understood the process and what to expect. MARIO was able to answer all my question and they way he answered made me realize they were up to the task and i felt real good about choosing them to do it. I was able to give MARIO a count of the number of ducts openings and the size of the each opening, and he was able to give me a price for the complete job. I ask him that many other company and on charges once they were there and he said that since I was able to tell him number and size of opening that his price was firm base on the info provided. So i made the appointment. XAVIER the tech assigned to my job showed up within the agreed on arrival time which made me happy. As I was doing other task at the property XAVIER stayed busy the whole time. He didnt rush and took his time on each vent. He spend more time on cleaning each vent then i was expecting. I wasn't sure if I was occasionally imagining a smokey/ dirty smell in our home. We decided to have the air ducts cleaned in an attempt to rid our home of that "occasional odor". The day I had my heat pump replaced, I was getting so much "junk" blowing out of the vents. I called Honest Guys and was able to get an appointment to clean the ducts for the next morning. And the price was reasonable. Xavier was on-time and did a great job, taking before and after pictures of every duct he cleaned. AWESOME is not enough for them. I reached out with inquiries via online and Marius got back to me promptly. He explained every details. I had some issue with the first scheduled day and Marius offered some discounts which I did not expect :) So we rescheduled. Gabriel was our tech. He arrived on time, took his time to check everything and explained what he will do. He power cleaned our filthy vent covers as well. Gabriel took pictures and sent them to me while he was working in them. Oh and he even replaced our dryer vent cover! This guy, Marius, was so cool. He showed up the same day when I was in a panic about my tenant's water heater not being turned on because of what I thought was a clogged vent issue. Turns out it didn't necessarily need a cleaning, but some new duct work where it was damaged. Marius went in the attic, took photos for me since I'm out of state, and didn't even charge me. Marius and his staff, Greg, are on time, very thorough, courteous and polite. They did a great job on the air duct and dryer vent cleaning. One of the easiest decision I have ever made in life was to have Honest Guys Duct Cleaning come out and clean our air ducts. After months of breathing bad air and experiencing higher than normal allergy issues with my kids, I made the decision to have a specialist come out. The gentleman that came out to give us a quote was friendly and very professional. He went above and beyond in showing us the air that we were breathing in and let me just say.. GROSS! I needed to have my entire house's air duct system and dryer vent cleaned out. I had called 4 other companies besides Marius from Honest Guys Duct Cleaning. By far, he was the clear pick right off the bat for several reasons. First, I talked to Marius directly. I liked talking to the one who would be personally coming to my house to do the work (versus my being forwarded to a secretary or another tech who would not be doing the work). Secondly, he was also the most clear and frank about the cost, the type of work (what it would entail), the duration of the job, and his insistence on thoroughness and meticulousness. Finally, I appreciated his assurance and emphasis that there would be no debris left behind in any of the rooms. He was very easy to talk to and I just felt he would be the right choice. On the scheduled day, he and his work partner (his dad) arrived right on time. True to his word, he did a fantastic job. Understand that my house had never had the ducts cleaned since its original build (2006). He took the time needed to be thorough. He cleaned everything up, left each room spotless, and removed gobs of lint and a bird's nest from the dryer vent. All in all, Marius and his dad were an absolute delight to work with. If I could give 10 stars I definitely would. I called a few places this AM for duct cleaning and almost all of them only did roto brush service. Honest guys was the only one who offered manual cleaning and rotobrush for hard to reach areas. Yes, there are a couple companies who were cheaper but I guarantee you don't get the service that Honest Guys delivers. This guy named Marius showed up looking clean as a whistle and left looking like he rolled around in soot for 5 hours. That means alot to me....it means he worked hard and earned every penny. He explained the entire job to me step by step..even went to home Depot to buy screws that my vents were missing! He even pointed out a problem unrelated to my ducts...a spider infestation in my attic that needed addressed! My ducts were so filthy that it was making my family sick. The moldy smell was awful. Now, everything is awesome. The air is noticeably cleaner. I can't say enough good things about Honest Guys. You can't go wrong with this company.
