On 28Jul22 we arrived at 11:00 (the posted time they are to open) and there was a short line of people. We saw a worker taking out trash about that same time. It is currently 11:20am and no one is answering the phone. The line is about 30 PO'd people making alternate plans now and still no signs of life other than the first sighting of an employee. Would not suggest counting on this place to plan family entertainment as they seem to struggle with reading a clock or answering a phone. Oh wait... employees are carrying out box but won't answer the simple question of when they will open. It's 11:30 am. But wait, there's more..... So, about 5 minutes after a group of about 15 left and we were on our way back to the car, they opened the doors. I grabbed a few shots of the broken down machines but more importantly let me explain a critical piece of how this place works. We selected the option of buying 200 tokens for $50.00. Our 2 15 yr olds blew through them in about 45 minutes and that's being generous. Why? Because many of the games took 7, 12, and 20 tokens to play a single game! Another point to raise is that they never opened the laser tag game while we were there. This place was a great disappointment and if you wonder why their Google reviews are so high, they give you $5.00 off for a good review. read more

Needed to fill some time with kids and this place was convenient. The system they have for games uses proximity cards which is very modern and convenient. Each game tells you how many credits you have left and almost every game produces tickets (in digital form) that can be traded for cheap crap when you leave. It's like the arcades of olden days but with a nice modern face. The good: they have an okay selection of games and 99% are modern, high-resolution. There are some retakes on old games with as an 8ft talk Pac-Man. The employees listened when we had an issue and offered immediate refunds. The bad: there are a few games where you are literally just trading a credit for some tickets. Maybe that interested some people but not me. A couple of the games didn't work, honest flaws like a broken screen or a stuck ball. Overall it's about what one would expect. You'll pay 20$-40$ for an hour of your time in an air conditioned space.... and there is ice cream and a climbing wall. In this place there are not a lot of options of this format, so it makes sense. The credits required for games ranges from a minimum of 6 up to 20 per game. In order to get 80 credits it costs $20. So if you play the 6 credit games you can play 13 games. The ticket payout with the cost of credits for the games in comparison for what you get as prizes is not worth it as far as arcades go. read more

Place is an absolute rip off. Spent a fortune on credits just to play 15 minutes worth of games. Not only is it over priced, the games were the most rigged games at a children's arcade I have ever seen. The games refuse to give out any tickets. In the end we were feeling confident in a nice prize with 685 tickets only to find we could only afford silly putty. Knock-off Barbie was a whopping 8 grand. Spend your time and money else where. Unless you're a slum dog millionaire, hit the beach. read more

This place was amazing and accommodating. The staff was very friendly and there is so much fun to be had here. We did laser tag and bowling and arcade but not rock climbing this time. If you're looking for family fun for all ages, this is the spot!!! read more

Took the kids here today. Seemed like there were over 300 people in there. No one wearing masks and social distancing not being followed. 2 people working nothing being sanitized. Manager was very rude to anyone complaining about one of the games that was malfunctioning and taking too much money off of the card. They had gloves for patrons but they were all over the floor. We will never be back. read more

I couldn't wait to come and bring my family down here as we go to the OBX every year. When we arrived, the male employee couldn't give me a straight answer as to what prices were, which was a telling sign. Other than arcade games, there's not much for kids to do but the topper was when my 4 year old had to go to the bathroom. They had just closed both restrooms due to cleaning and said they'd be open again in 15 minutes. Fine. Thirty minutes later, they were still closed and when I asked when they'd be open cause I have a 4 year old, he kind of just shrugged his shoulders. It was then I said well I guess you don't mind if he pisses on the side of your building and that's exactly what he did. Don't even think the employee cared to be honest. We've been coming to rodanthe for the last three years and when we saw this we thought it would be great for a rainy day. Yesterday, we got our rainy day, so we headed over. First, it wasn't open. We looked online and found no website or Facebook page or anything listing hours. How do you expect a business like this to succeed without even a Facebook page?? Maybe we could call, but there was no phone number listed anywhere either. How about a sign on the door listing hours? Nope. Nothing. We left and came back later. They were open, hooray! Inside, we found staff that was totally disinterested in doing anything. We played some games, which were mostly the type that give tickets. One out of every 3 games was out of tickets. The pinball machines in the back were unplugged. The games where you could win prizes (like claw machines) were filled with junk. We didn't get to try the laser tag or mini golf and no one was manning the rock climbing wall ( not that I'd trust this staff with that anyway). What a terrible waste of money creating this building that is basically an eyesore and then totally not putting even a basic amount of effort into running it properly. read more

Well here is a shocker. Car full of teenagers ready to play laser tag arrive at 6:30 PM for a little fun before dinner. Was the place open? NOPE. What would be the point in being open on a Thursday night ? Surely you can't make money at that time of day...after enjoying a lovely day on the beach. I don't get it. I see some older reviews on here that weren't super positive, but this was our first time being here, and for a family ranging in age from 22 to 59, we all found something enjoyable to burn some time here during a nasty day on the Outer Banks. The arcade isn't huge, but has fun games, they all were operational, and obviously the "prizes" aren't anything special (which I thought was a given). We also came back another day to try the mini-golf on the sound, which was a nice course and actually very challenging! read more

This place is great! A smaller but fun arcade with super helpful staff. I brought a group of 18 yr olds and they had a great time.

The owner/manager of this business is very rude to us and his own employees. If we had anywhere closer to go we would have left at that time. But, it was raining and what else are you going to do with 4 impatient boys. We purchased two rounds of laser tag and game cards. He didn't want us to purchase two game for each child on the same purchase which made no sense since it was a "deal" to purchase two. They completed a laser tag game then played some of the arcade games. He then started yelling at them because they didn't complete both laser tag games back to back. It really made no sense. I witnessed him being this way to almost all the customers that day that were in there at the same time as us. The only reason I gave this two stars was because the boys said it was the best laser tag they have been to. Have better customer service and this place would be great! read more

This is a pretty cool place that just opened today, 7/13/2017. They're a little frazzled on the first day but that's okay. I will say you need to watch them on your ticket count from the arcade games. A girl in our party won 1,000 tickets from one game and at least a couple hundred more from various others--$10-15 worth of games. She got credit for only 1,020 when staff weighed her tickets. We went in after taking some sunset pictures on the sound, well it was in the sand!! We all decided to go To the arcade. We wiped our shoes off and as we was walking in a man was vacuuming the carpet, well I guess one of us had some sand on the bottom of our shoes. He looked at us and said someone has sand on their feet!! Well number one this is a beach area. Their is even sand In The parking lots, how In The world can someone keep sand off there shoes!! We will never go in that place again, we just turned around and walked out, we would of spent lots of money. Oh well there lost!!! Man was very RUDE!!!! read more

The place didnt open until a quarter after 11am when their hours are to be 11am - 10pm. An employee was still cleaning when we walked in. For the games they only take quarters and its usually $1 per game. Half of the games took your money but didn't give you credits. The womens restroom was out of order. We did the rock climb and most of the grips were broken or loose. The place has potential but the owner didnt seem concerned. Even an employee said that his boss doesn't want to make an effort. Definitely won't be going back. read more

Overcharged us for golf and refused to make it right. Said they give no refunds. When we argued that it wasn't a refund, it was an overcharge, they still would not process the overcharge. They just lost some loyal customers over $8. Guess it was also worth a bad review. read more

First experience-horrible. Refused to sell our group 2 game cards at 8:45. Said it was policy. There were no signs displayed stating any policy other than "no refunds". On top of that we paid $3 to get cash out of their ATM after we asked them if they took credit. Now, why wouldn't they state they couldn't sell us any game cards then? We had 2 toddlers with us that wanted to play one game and we had to take them out of the place crying.. It really shouldn't had been a big deal and we could had used the cards another time. We,too, were happy to think we did not have to drive far for the kids to have something to do. But on a Saturday evening in vacation season we were put out at 7:45 and told closing even though there a number of people there. I called and spoke with the owner who was not sympathetic and complained they were open at 11 and no one came all day. He couldn't seem to understand that it was a beautiful day to be at the beach and evening is a better time for hours since people are looking for things to do. Got nowhere with him. This is a fun place to go and do something when it rains or evening/night hours. The golf course was fun but it wasn't the best. And the laser tag was pretty fun. The arcade has a decent amount of games and they aren't too over priced. Over all it's a pretty nice and fun place! read more

Pretty disappointing, this place has so much potential. It's cash only, the games run on quarters only and are $1 minimum. They've only been open a week and several games and the women's bathroom is out of order. The employees seem irritated that we are here. They weigh the ticked and short you every time. We counted and told them it was off by several tickets, they go by weight only and don't adjust if it's wrong. We didn't try the rock wall or laser tag because we were disappointed in the rest of the arcade. read more

We went here on a weekday when staying in Rodanthe and our group of 10 (6 kids) were excited to play Laser Tag. Staff was disinterested but we did play two games and I will say that the laser tag set up is awesome. Between our games we dabbled in the arcade. Every game was over priced, many were out of tickets. Only the men's restroom was functional. They didn't have a traditional ticket counter, they had a bucket which was weighed and they didn't even show us the weight, they just told us how many tickets we had and walked away. The prizes for the ticket collection were dismal and disappointing. Laser tag was the only saving grace of this location but could have had a more energetic host. Our family and children enjoyed laser tag so much we decided to surprise our kids today (Saturday) and take them back. We arrived at 2:30pm to find the place closed. Sign out front said "We open at 11am everyday." We tried to call but it just rang and rang. A birthday surprise for my niece turned into a disappointment. Needless to say we are currently driving the 40 minutes to a different laser tag facility in Nags Head. If you get them on a good day the laser tag is awesome. But this is definitely a business you can't count on and can't put your trust in. read more

This place is horrible took the family there for an evening out and even the kids where ready to leave. Girls bathroom out of order men's bathroom was locked. They only take cash, they are short staffed and don't speak English very well and they where rude. If your kids play the arcade and get tickets you better count them yourself because they weight them in a bucket and tell you it's is 40 tickets when it is really 282 tickets. Was hoping for a great day of fun for our children but we were sadly disappointed facility. We called ahead to get the hours so we could plan accordingly we were given a closing time of 8:00 pm so we arrived at 5:00 pm to allow enough time for the girls to do everything that was offered . Upon our arrival such a disappointment they had a few people there already so we had to rounds of laser tag by then we were the only ones there the girls were just starting to play a game we were approached by a very rude staff member that said they were closing in 5 mins ! Now we had not been there very long so when I approached the other staff member he said well we have been slow so we are closing so I said are you allowed to close with people here yes you have 3 mins as we were talking 5 or 6 other patrons came in and they refused to let them in and told them we're closed and rudely asked them to leave ! The staff was very rude the bathrooms were filthy and had only one operational At the time with no toilet paper or paper towels! Well if you have been slow all day you would think you would do the maintenance and cleaning necessary things required to run a public amusement center ! Machines had no tickets very disappointed! Have been coming to the outer banks for 30 years and this was the worst experience ever ! read more
