I feel like we lost some credits on the machines because we would swipe and it wouldn't work, but I noticed that my money was going down. There wasn't an attendant to help. I think the novelty of experiencing something unique significantly improves ratings for most as…read moreit's far different than an escape room that almost everyone has already been to one or more times. So after the first game or two, I was envisioning a strong 5-star review. But after everything was said and done, I would feel, being very objective and unbiased, a 5.0 star would be a bit too high. More like 4.5 rounded up. Full disclosure we had 3 people which is the worst number as then you can't have two teams. But I'm disregarding that we had to play against a virtual house opponent. They actually let us play some games more than once so it had its upside too. There are 5 games based on the senses. I won't go farther as to not ruin the surprise. 3 were really fun, 1 was pretty fun, and 1 was mediocre although younger kids would like it (the balls). A couple games were more difficult than expected but still fun. The main thing that brings it down to a 4.5 for me, is the value. At $31 a person, we were done in about 50 minutes, about an hour including the orientation. Not the published 75 minutes. We felt like we wanted at least one more game to feel like it was worth the money or something far better than the quick ball game. I can see they priced it roughly around escape room prices. If you've never done it, feel $31/person is fair for an hour of entertainment, and have a group of 4-8, it's probably 5 stars. But the value would go down next visit as the uniqueness of a new experience is part of the entertainment. For us we felt dropping almost $100 on this was a tad pricey for 3 people so 4.5 stars. $25/person, would be 5.0 -stars. Staff is great. Realizing that our session might have been fast because we only had 1 team despite replaying a couple games twice, assuming a large group gets more play time and considering the two-team competition aspect, I'm rounding to a weak 5 stars. But definitely a 4-star for repeat visits.

What caught our eye was that we had to use one of our senses in each of the five challenges: smell, taste, touch, sight, and hearing. The day before we had gone to an escape room and were looking for more similar experiences. Some of the challenges required the team to be split into teams while other challenges required the entire team to participate. Overall, it was a great time and I highly recommend to take a few family members and friends to enjoy the experience with. There was no "Row" and there was a whole lot more coemption back then. Harrah's, Harolds Club, Mapes, Silver Spur and others. There was a grocery store where the Silver Legacy now sits, and the Eldorado was a standalone offering. Given its age and how many casinos have come and gone since they opened, the property is well maintained and seems to keep with the times. The buffet was the last one in downtown with high-quality food (sad loss). What remains of the food choices is solid including the amazing coffee and freshest pastry shop, they are worthy competitors for the area. The Row concept has really kept the Eldorado a viable choice for visitors because they essentially get 3 very different casinos for the price of 1 under one continuous roof, all with free parking. Don't forget the many downtown events that they sponsor or are very involved with. The 44th Great Italian Festival is coming up October 10 & 11th in 2026. It is typically the 2nd weekend in October annually.
