This review is for on line orders. After waiting until 4 days after the scheduled delivery date I find only one item was shipped. Unfortunately USPS has lost the item. Soma's refund policy needs more time, 3 weeks in total. The rest of the order was to be fulfilled at a location, I believe, Dallas. They didn't have the items so they cancelled my order. No notification. My lesson is order on line with a merchant who ships and delivers . This is not that retailer. read more

Most the time I order from Soma online, but once in a while an in store visit is good to see the items and try them on in person. This store has friendly staff. They helped me get the sizes and styles that I was looking for. When the sizes aren't available in store, they order it for me and it is sent to my place which is convenient. read more

Great place if you're looking for quality intimate ware. I have always hated bra shopping because I have never felt like anything fit right, even after being measured. I went in and asked to be measured. Wendy was absolutely fantastic! She measured me and then asked what kind of bras I was in the market for. I'm a gal who wears sports bras about 95% of the time, so I told her I wanted something comfy. Wendy brought back two of the most comfortable bras I've ever put on and I was sold! This is a long journey coming, so buckle in for this one. BASICALLY! Up until this point I've ordered most of my bras & panties online or bought them at target! Which has been great except that I never really try them on before buying and it's been 3+ years since I got a fitting. And all of my current ones just haven't been sitting right with me anymore, or they got old really fast and the quality wasn't there to begin with. I've also been doing a lot of research and discovered that a lot of people actually aren't wearing the right bra sizes. SO! I figured after working as hard as I have that I would treat myself, go somewhere nice and relaxing and have a whole fitting and try on a little bit of everything. And that's exactly what I did. I rolled into Soma at about 4pm (an hour before closing) and for a while I was the only one in the store! I was greeted warmly and quickly, I told her my deal and she dove right in! I was fitted quickly and easily, then she grabbed my size in different styles, colors, materials, etc. I got my own fitting room set up and then I was free to go from there. The store started to gain a little more business, but the customer service didn't slip one bit. I found some stuff I LOVED and there was great sales! Money is no object. I'll pay anything for a bra that meets my needs. I'm more mature, in my 70's, but still have a smaller frame. Unfortunately, my boobs have not weathered the storm (a lot of loose flesh going south). I needed full coverage with support. I've tried hundreds of bras over the years trying to find the right one that fits, covers and doesn't make me look too matronly. The search has been to no avail. I decided to give Soma a shot as they specialize in lingerie. Told the sales ladies my concerns and asked if they could help me with 'fit'. Deborah obliged. She measured me, a chore in itself, then went on a hunt to find some possibilities. She returned with an armful of bras. Nothing worked but she now had a better understanding of what might. Success! We found 2 bras that did. I purchased them in several colors, some which had to be ordered. That's the back story. My review is of Deborah. Lovely lady, courteous, beyond helpful, patient, conscious of my privacy and determined to accommodate. Would not wish experience on worst enemy. Went for bra fitting and was given a bra that was WAY TOO TIGHT. When I asked for a different size, the saleswoman told me the bra was right - the prob was my back fat. WHAT?! I told her i just had two kids (not that it should matter, but I'm not a very big person either). Went home and cried. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT RISK IT!!! I went to soma looking for new bras around July. I had to wait at the door due to Covid which is no problem but what was a problem was waiting 10 minutes at the door while to two associates chatted about random things and totally ignored me. I finally just walked in and was expecting someone to greet me or ask if I needed help. Nope. So I took it upon myself to go up to one of the associates and explained what I needed. This was my first time buying bras since having my third child and I had no clue what size I needed since so much had changed with breastfeeding. They couldn't size me because of Covid so she asked what I use to wear and put me in a fitting room with a bunch of different sizes. I ended up pretty much "figuring" it out on my own and bought 3 bras. She told me I could always return them even if they had been worn with receipt, which they keep on record in the member program that I signed up for. Anyways I had been wearing two of them even though they weren't a great fit for a few months when I decided it was time to exchange the third one I had bought in hopes of finding something that fit better. I went back in and the girl at the front pulled up my transaction and put me back in the fitting room with a different size. Mid undressing my mom came to the room and told me that I can't exchange because it's past the amount of days for a return.... while my mom was waiting for me to get dressed she overheard the manager say that I was lying about never getting a fitting and just basically talking rudely about me. I came out and explained that all I want to do is exchange for something that fit. It hadn't been worn and the tags were on it and they had my receipt. She told me that the old manager would never have just not sized me and that there's no way she's returning it for me. I told her I'll never shop with soma again and she said okay. As a former assistant manager of Soma, I would NEVER treat a customer the way that management of this store treated me. I went in for an exchange hoping to find something that fit better and would have bought multiple bras in the correct size. Soma has lost me as a customer! read more

I recommend this store for all women! I went in for a fitting appointment with Faith who I loved! I have always had bad experiences in the past with fittings because it never seemed to be correct to my body! She took the time to ask all the right questions to find the perfect fit of what I am use to wearing and that would be most comfortable for me! They are very educated and knowledgeable that every women is different! They take their time with the client and don't rush. This was my first in store bra shopping experience since having our daughter 3 1/2 years ago and I was pleasantly surprised how well it went. When I walked in I was greeted immediately and asked if there was anything I needed help with. I explained that I wanted something that put my boobs back where they belonged that didn't look like it belonged to my grandmother and wasn't a sports bra or a nursing bra. Wendy measured me up and showed me quite a few options that matched what I was looking for and even recommended some bras that were on sale. once I figured out the style I wanted Wendy went into the back to see if there were any other color options in my size so I could have all the choices Which was really nice! Being a 38DD you can't always find a lot of choices in the store. She even offered to order me a color they didn't have in my size and have it shipped to the house. I had my first Soma experience today. Marissa was the most amazing person. She was tentative, understanding, caring, knowledgeable, patient person I have ever had the pleasure of having help me. She measured and remeasured to make sure I had the right size bra. She spent over an hour helping me try on every style and 3 different sizes till I found one I loved. It fits amazing and I could not be more happy with the fit. Bonus was the ones I love was on sale and I had a coupon to help with the other one I loved that was not on sale. I have never had a bra that so well. I am 39 next month and I will be back to see Marissa for my next bra purchase. I also happen to look around the store and touch some of the pjs they are amazingly soft. So I may need to get a new set of pjs to go with my new bras. I love this store! The sales people here are always so knowledgeable, professional, nice, helpful, and patient. The first time I went here to get a bra for a dress I was wearing to my daughters wedding and I literally tried on every style they had in the store before finding the "perfect" one. The person who was helping me measured me and kept bringing me different styles until I found the perfect match! Today I went in to get it in another color and Crystal was so sweet, helpful, and efficient in getting me fitted and making sure that I got the best deal through the sale that was going on. After my purchase she listened to what I needed and suggested another style that would be good for casual days and gave me a coupon extending the sale price so I could come back and get it. I googled places in Reno to buy a bathing suit. Soma popped up. I walked into Soma looking for nothing but a bathing suit. I entered the store and was greeted promptly with a smile. The sales associate Nancy, asked me what brought me in and I told her I was looking for a bathing suit. Nancy quickly showed me their entire supply of swimsuits and elaborated on what each and every one of them did, I was amazed by her knowledge of each suit. Unfortunately they had no bikinis so I was on my way out the door. On my way out, Nancy encouraged me to come back when I had time and get fitted for a bra. Nancy was so inviting that I couldn't resist. Nancy quickly measured me, and brought me every bra in my size to my fitting room. I can honestly say that I've never had a better bra experience in my entire life. Not once did Nancy make me feel like a burden (I was easily there for over an hour). I used to shop for bras at Victoria secret, but the service at VS has never been inviting and/or comfortable for me. I can tell you from my one time experience, and from my bra that I will never again step foot in a Victoria Secret for a bra...Soma you have my business.
