Very Disappointing Experience - Reno Location Living in Hawaii, our Lululemon stores have a very limited selection, so when I travel to the mainland I always make it a point to shop at larger locations. During my recent trip to Reno, I was excited to finally visit your store after finding some great pieces at other mainland locations. Unfortunately, my experience completely changed the moment I walked in. I had just finished a large coffee and urgently needed to use the restroom before shopping. I saw a customer come out of the bathroom and approached an employee to ask if I could use it. The associate looked at me and bluntly said, "Sorry, we ain't got no public restrooms." The way it was said felt dismissive and rude, especially considering the circumstances. I wasn't asking for special treatment -- just basic courtesy and kindness. Instead, I felt embarrassed and unwelcome, so I left without making a purchase and took my business elsewhere. This was not the welcoming, elevated experience Lululemon is known for, and it left a very negative impression. I hope management takes customer service more seriously, because this visit was a major letdown. read more

Quality/Quantity - Small men's section. And on my last visit, I stocked up on my favorite shirts. Then of course, I went to the Livermore Lululemon outlets and found the exact same shirts for $25 less... I was worried that the outlets would not have my size; I was wrong. But I am done, well I hope I am, with this brand as I own too many outfits. Well, do I need more gym shorts?!?! Atmosphere - Small location. But the only one in the city, so... They closed the bathrooms to the public. Why? Plenty of mall parking. Open 7 days a week 10am to 8pm; on Sundays from 11am to 6pm. Service - Self service. Price - Expensive, but that is the cost for quality. I do frequent their outlet locations in Livermore and Gilroy, CA, for much better pricing. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1998 by founder Chip Wilson. 491 stores with 25,000 employees and growing around the world. 2007 IPO. If only there weren't so much controversy with the founder's history. read more

The service is exceptional! Everyone who works here is happy, helpful and professional. The selection is clothes and accessories is vast. I personally shop at the sale racks since the regular prices are generally above my pay grade. There are always a good amount of people shopping here whenever I come in. The quality of the clothing is what brings a lot of people back versus less expensive clothing that fades after a few washings. read more

I mean 3 stars? I don't get it, but I understand everyone's opinions are different of course. I've had mixed reviews but overall I love that store. There are a few employees I recognize over the years of coming here but I see new faces all the time. I feel like that's normal for retail. I always get welcomed, even if I don't get asked if I need help right away which I don't mind since I just like to stroll and look around. When I first started coming here, yes, I needed help because I had no idea, but now I just know what I like, I know how it fits etc. I wish I came in every season to see their new drops but I didn't this last winter and I missed out on a collection that is super soft and something that is more of my style for everyday wear. I was so sad but I do find some online and some hidden in the store. The quality of the items is amazing! I wear a lot of these because I'm very active so they get washed a lot and they hold their color and hold their wear. The value of these items are pricey, but the quality is worth the price. I've thought about working here just to get the discount because I wear so much of their clothes. It's very comfortable and elegant. Yes they are very popular which is fine but I will still buy most of my clothes and athletic clothes from here. read more

The only reason why this rating is a 2 and not a 1 star is because the young cute blonde lady in the changing room did take an item to see if they had it available in store. She checked for other sizes for me, which was very nice of her. however, she did not offer alternate selections or options, which was fine because she was very busy with the fitting rooms. The rest of the staff, however, was not busy and had no problem talking to each other while hanging items, in fact three of them were in the south east corner of the store hanging up women's items and not one of them asked me if I needed help finding something. I would gladly drop a grand in that store and have done so in other locations... I love the Lululemon products, the quality is worth its weight in gold. I just can't stand when staff is more interested in conversing with each other versus helping customers that are actually looking to spend money in their store. This is a sidenote, and of course it has to do with me personally , but I'm disappointed that most of the sizes that are available are much smaller. I wish they had a few options in a 14 or 12. It's understandable though for those items to sell out faster as it is more common for size, but they could easily double their business if they carried sizes 14 and up in the actual store instead of only offering them online. Anyways, this is more of a personal problem and just an observation. I left the store empty-handed and disappointed that even after circling through the men's section still, no one offered me any assistance. read more

Usually shop online. Discovered this store only 40 minutes from me and had to do an exchange for a duplicate Christmas present. Will definitely not be back to this location and will continue to shop online. Vibe was so off. Unwelcoming and no help at all. Staff was unpleasant and had I been helped instead of just stared at by the sales people standing around probably would have purchased more but just did my exchange and left as quickly as possible. read more

Located in an well maintained security patrolled outdoor mall, this Lululemon location offers a fairly large variety of sizes in both men's and women's styles. Overall, my 5* rating goes to the staff at this Reno location. I've had the benefit of shopping @luluemon over the past 7+ years including several states and locations. I've been a serious collector of this brand. I have 12 different colors in the Define Jacket. I'm happy that I bought them because once the color is gone, you don't see it again! The leggings are awesome for yoga, soul cycle or just athleisure wear. Even though the price point of these products is very high I have found that it has the "worth it" factor. A few years ago they had skirts in the same blend as the leggings and jackets so I picked up a adorable black one, super sexy. They also had really nice quality yoga mats. The are super thick and supportive. Those cheap ones can kill your knees. I've been to this location multiple times and purchased several items off the sale rack. This was sweet since there wasn't many sales at the San Jose location. I went there on Black Friday and it was a nightmare as you would expect. I had to get outta there alive and we did. My daughter had a pair of leggings that she hasn't worn it was over the 30 day return and we didn't have the receipt. The nice girl at the register was very helpful. I didn't get her name. The manager Ari was very polite and informative about the product. She solved the solution and as a customer, I was very pleased. Having someone like Ari as lead, ! My daughter and I frequent shop here and is our favorite lululemon from all we have visited. My daughter placed an online pick up order for the black define jacket. Stated it was available online but order was cancelled for out of stock. My daughter and I drove to the store to shop for an alternative color. Lucky for us Lululemon in Reno has the best staff! Although I am from San Francisco and this was my first and probably last time visiting this location since I was in town for a trip, I would say this was a pretty decent location. The location was not small nor big, but it was pretty stocked and organized considering I came here during the week of Christmas where you would expect to see low inventory and a mess. The staff were nice and welcoming, a lady came to offer help and give recommendations even when my Mom and I did not ask for help. Funny story, we actually had a good conversation with her because she was telling us her experiences of San Francisco and hopes of moving there so that was cool and fun. read more

I am going to be honest with you: most of the time when I go to summit mall I feel as if I am the ugly step sister and feel I get treated that way. I feel like some of the stores at Summit Mall are a little pretentious, therefore I braced myself before entering the store for some abrasive treatment. However, upon entering this establishment I felt like my daughter and I met our fairy Godmother at the door and were treated as if we were Cinderella's. The store is elegant and the employee's are copacetic, simpatico, and hospitable. All of the employees at this store have incredible high energy, sweet, kind and thoughtful. They all had the ability to make everyone feel welcome and beautiful. The energy is so harmonious and energetic. This was the first time in the store with my daughter. WOW!! I CAN NOT RAVE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE ENOUGH!! They were so helpful and explained their product. They asked my daughter about her gym experience and the movement We left there on cloud nine. We are still talking about the customer service and how everyone in there wanted to lift you up and share their love for the product. I felt like I made friends with all the workers we came in contact with. I also met Ann who is the store manager and she was also super sweet. Ann please be sure that everyone get KUDOS for their customer service: Grace, Alex, Baylee, Cortney, Jen, Nick, Thomas, Richard and Ann herself. I've been to so many stores in different states and while it may come off as bias they are honestly the best. The staff is friend and so willing to help. If I can't find a size rather than just saying sorry they will check inventory online as well as other stores. Their products are the best and range vastly in exercise functionality. I tend to compare them to Patagonia in the sense they want the best for the consumer and stand behind their products. Such a great atmosphere and the comfiest, best quality leggings of all time. Ended up Even though 90% of my clothing is lulu I wasn't able to find anything I was given from the staff that I liked. It was super weird. I have been going to lululemon for years and I have always loved these leggings. I don't wear anything else but I am not happy with my latest purchase. I bought a new pair of Align leggings a little over month, and I went to put them on and there is a hole on my butt and the seam on the bottom leg is starting to separate. The cost of these leggings went up and to a total of $120 which is more than they used to be. For $120 pair of leggings I expect the material to still be good. The staff was very helpful with the best things to pick for what type of activity you'll be using it for. They had a nice bathroom towards the fitting room. As with most Lulus the staff here are always friendly and helpful. Lulu clothes are very comfortable, but many fits/designs are meant for skinnier people. Prices are pretty expensive, but I will have to say my lulu clothes last a long time and I do like that they have complimentary alterations. read more

Most the time I come in here, I'm greeted but then just left alone to do my thing. The only time I'm ever really spoken to and asked if I need anything is when I go to try something on and that's if the person right there is even paying attention. I came in for the "quality promise" or to exchange for the "like new" as they call it, and one employee told me yes they can do it but when I asked further questions how it worked no one knew anything and the shift came over and spoke to me like I was dumb, nodding her head constantly, trying to tell me things that are not online in their policy. Then i said okay I'll just do the one pair that the other employee told me i could do and she told me no...even though it's been less than a year which is what she just told me was the quality promise? I love the new store! I'm a huge fan of Lulu and have always enjoyed their showroom on Riverside but couldn't always find what I wanted because they had a small selection. This new store is a lot bigger and has a huge selection! I am particularly impressed with the men's selection - it is literally 5 times bigger than the last store. You don't spend $120 on a pair of leggings because they are that amazing, because they aren't, you are buying a brand and the experience that goes with it. This store crushes the brand experience consistently and for that, they have lost a longtime customer. I've had two catastrophic experiences here, the rest have been unfriendly, but not noteworthy. Not once in the 5 years that I have been coming here have I ever been greeted when entering the store, not once has someone been friendly and asked if there was anything they could help me with. The experience you should expect is to be ignored and feel less than or not included in the "cool kids club", basically what I am saying is that I should have stopped coming here a long time ago, but became immune to the toxic environment. I sent my mom to get a pair of pants and return a sweater for me (that she bought online on her card) over Christmas time, she had never been in and I simply gave her the name of the pants. She found an employee and asked where she could find the pant and was pointed in the direction of several shelves by someone who said "if there are any left, they are over there." She asked if the employee could show her what they were as she didn't know what they looked like, they employee said something like it would be a minute, and walked away. My mom said it was so uncomfortable and the employee made her feel like she didn't belong in there so instead of trying to find the pants she just went to complete my return. She had an equally poor experience during the return, the register attendant did not want to take the return and said she needed to find something to exchange it with, the issue being that the item was for me and I wasn't there. She was accused of having worn the item, yes I tried it on, but never wore it around, it was simply too big. She ended up walking away frustrated and having not been able to return the item. She told me to never ask for a gift from Lululemon again because she refused to ever spend another dollar there. I went in the following day ready for a battle as I had tried on, but not worn the sweater, there was no issue and it was returned. I had wondered at the time if my mom exaggerated the situation or just didn't want to return for me, but after my recent experience I can absolutely understand now. I also bought her two pair of the pant I had told her to get, because they were great. I love the versatility of the "On The Move" pant which is equal parts comfort and style. You'll find most all of my co-workers with a pair. I went in the store on Women's Day as they advertised 18% off everything, per usual, no greeting when I walked in. I collected several items to try on (never approached once during my shopping by an employee) and then went to the fitting room area where a large group of people were huddled around the table and talking. I wasn't sure where to stand as there was no line and it appeared maybe a room or two was available. I awkwardly stood where I thought a line should form and waited for an employee to approach me, it was over 5 minutes before I was first approached by one of the employees who had been standing directly behind me chatting with other employees and some of their friends. She asked if I needed a fitting room and I told her I did, she said they were all taken. I continued waiting while what seemed to be a friend group would come in and out of the dressing rooms, talking with employees and asking for recommendations, talking about discounts etc. The people in the dressing rooms would leave all their things in the room, go shop and come back with several additional items all while I continued waiting. This is not how dressing rooms work.. you don't get to camp out and make others wait while you come and go as if this is your own personal shopping experience and no other customers matter. I was extremely disappointed that the employees continued to allow this to happen. But hey, they seemed to all be friends and it sounded like they were sharing their employee discount, so why would a full price paying customer matter anyhow? I finally said something and the employee replied that the customer was just grabbing something else, as if I was out of line to even ask to get in a room again. I ended up putting my pile down and walking away. I was so mad and like my mom, decided to be done supporting this Lululemon. I ended up calling the corporate number as I was so frustrated by my experience and I believe my frustrations were taken seriously, I received an email from the store manager who said she would be addressing with her team and she even gave me a $30 coupon for future use. I still am mad because this seems to be the normal etiquette. read more

It's Super Bowl Sunday so it was pretty slow in the store and she helped me feel comfortable picking the best pair of leggings. Nice store in a lovely outdoor shopping center. Parking available right in front. I came in to return a hat & pair of shorts that I had ordered online & the fit was not flattering on my body at all. The two sales associates that assisted me were super friendly & helped to find another pair that fit my body & looked great on (after I tried on just about every pair in the store!). The store was tidy & nicely organized. I especially loved the HUGE fitting rooms with full length doors & big ceiling to floor mirrors. I felt very comfortable trying on my items & received just the right amount of help from the fitting room attendant. I definitely will be back to make my purchases in store from here on out instead of ordering online. I appreciate the quality customer service & being able to try things on to ensure a proper fit. read more

I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly, helpful and down to earth all sales ladies were! It was so refreshing and I felt super comfortable asking size and fit questions. I had never been in to LuLulemon before and thought it was just hype and I had read some bad reviews about rude customer service. So I was a little apprehensive before going in like it would be some pretty woman experience but wow, everyone was very sincere and friendly. There is a huge difference with fit, quality and comfort.
