It's been a few years since I stopped in at what is now just called Sierra. The registers are now…read morein front, rather than the side, but the "Grocery Outlet" vibe remains. The store is large and bright, with clearly marked aisles and a lot of merchandise offered. If I were smarter, I'd stop here before REI or Patagonia. I picked at the edges and came out with an extra ice scraper, small snow shovel, and a pair of exercise hand grips. Who knows what I'll find the next time?

Whenever I'm in town from the Bay Area, I love visiting Sierra Trading Post, as I am already a fan…read moreof the TJ Maxx/Marshalls/Home Goods family of brands. I really wish they would open a Sierra branch in my 'hood in Northern California! Sierra is like the "sporty" arm of the TJX family of stores. You can get camping gear, clothing/shoes for men, women and kids, home goods, toys, snacks, pet supplies, and so much more. It's like a treasure hunt every time! There's also clearly marked red tag clearance items in each department. On my recent visit on a Saturday morning, I found good name brands in clothing and shoes, such as Columbia, Eddie Bauer, Levi's, LL Bean, and Crocs. All at discounted-from-retail prices! The store was recently remodeled and everything was neat and tidy. The cashier was pleasant and the line moved at a reasonable pace. There weren't a lot of workers roaming the floors to ask questions, but then again, this isn't a typical department store, so don't expect Nordstrom service! Highly recommend checking Sierra out to see what bargains you can find!

I love the clothes here, and wanted something different than Macy's…read more I purchased a few pair of pants and was able to save $$$ for spending over a certain amount. Store has plenty of inventory and a huge discount area both for men and women.

I honestly love express, one of the stores I go to at the Meadowood mall…read more I bought a semi boots at the store, it was 50% off so I snag on the deal. I tried it first to make sure it fits well, It was good to go. I wore the boots on my way work this week, the boots is killing my toes and was unable to change my shoes to a different. I wore it one time as the only I want to wear it. Trying to exchange to a different size, that is all I need. I brought the necessary stuff receipt, the tags and same bag. I went to the store today 12/5/21 at around lunch time. The associate is polite to me, explained my situation that I just need to change the size of the shoes. Not a return or refund. But, unfortunate thing happened they can't exchange the shoes due to the return policy, first of all, she wants me to read the return policy on the table while I'm paying, when I paid for it an associate never told me about the shoe policy, which most stores will do tell you upfront. In return, the manager on duty requested to just purchase a new one, since she can't re-sell my item.. And now they never gave me back my actual receipt, when I called them about my concern, to read the return policy on the receipt, which I don't have it anymore. The other lady also told me to read it, no one can explain it to me properly, but just to read. It's the first time they mishandle the situation, and bombarded with the situation how they want me to buy another shoes.. I told them I will call the corporate, and need the actual receipt and the name of the manager. Now, the manager told me she can accept my exchange and can return to the store, imagine the hassle she gave me. I was at the store 30 minutes.. i wish this was handled fairly, I don't want to make a scene in the store, or argue for more, It feels pointless how they talk to me..

When we first walked in, the store gate was half open. My daughter naturally tried to crawl under it, and I immediately grabbed her before she could. Instead of calmly addressing the situation, one of the employees came over and aggressively slammed the gate shut, which felt unnecessary and rude. Another employee--who was very kind--helped us start the paperwork for the piercing. However, once we sat down for the actual piercing, the situation went downhill again. My daughter noticed two empty alcohol swab wrappers on the table next to the chair and reached for them, as toddlers do. The employee began yelling at my 15-month-old over empty wrappers, which was completely inappropriate. She's a baby, not a preschooler. While marking my daughter's ears, the employee managed to get one side correct but struggled with the other because my daughter kept moving--again, very normal for a toddler. Throughout this, she was loudly huffing, puffing, and repeatedly saying "oh my god" in my ear, clearly annoyed. Her negative attitude made the entire experience stressful and uncomfortable. This is a kids' store, and ear piercings involve children--often very young ones. If patience isn't something you have, this is not the job for you. I left feeling upset and disappointed, and I would not recommend this location to other parents.

Mary was sweet, kind, patient and she answered every question I had ready as a first time mom. She's told me she's done multiple babies and handles the overall experience with quality and professionalism. She changed the markings multiple times and I have to give it to her because I'm an OCD mom and I know it can be difficult to deal with sometimes. Overall, every future baby I have I'd want and hope that Mary is still at Claire's. Thank you Mary.
