I usually get drawn in by the cute mannequin displays. The staff is always so nice and helpful if you are looking for something specific. Dressing rooms are nice and clean as well as decorated stylishly. For the pricing, jeans are priced well. There are definitely good sale finds. The tops vary in price where I would say some are good deals and reasonable, but sometimes there are some that seem overpriced. read more

Cute trendy boutique in the midtown area of Reno. This is the second time visiting here this past year. The first time service seemed a bit standoffish. Second time it was friendlier. My most recent visit we were killing time while waiting for a table at Two Chicks around the corner. I do like the selection of clothing here, it was just a tad above my price point! The shop features women's clothing from pants, dresses, shirts, shoes and accessories. They also have some fun sunglasses One shirt that I really admired that seemed a bit frivolous was an oversized v-neck shirt with sequined tigers. Yes you heard correctly. SEQUINED TIGERS. At $51 I just couldn't justify spending that much when I needed new work clothes (thanks to the Quarantine 15). Surprise surprise, my friend won big at one of the casinos so she secretly bought this behind my back. The shirt is unique as well as baggy enough for my post-quarantine self to fit in. I've been here a couple times to buy goodies. While the prices are on par with most boutiques, aka more pricey than your big chain stores, the quality is decent. I first came in April 2021 to buy a dress for line dancing, and then more recently April 2022 for a small purse. Store thoughts: Always tidy, dressing rooms emptied regularly, easy to find and access available inventory on the sales floor. There are some crowded corners and can be tough to move around when there are a lot of people in the store. Quality: The dress I bought in 2021 has been worn about 10 times and is holding up well to washing and drying. There is no fraying of the seams. The purse I've only had a few weeks, and it's not an Everyday Carry. It's got a clamshell opening and the hinges are a little squeaky and seem to 'grind' a bit when being used. I will try some WD40 to get it to open and close a little easier. Will update my review after a few more months of wear and tear and use. Service: The two times that I've gone in, there only seems to have been one employee. Both times they were just sitting behind the cash wrap. If there was a second employee, they were masked in the crowd. I wasn't asked either time if I need help with anything. This could be a pro or con. The first time when I was browsing for my dress I didn't mind not having the help. But the second time I was looking specifically for a tiny purse, so being pointed in the right direction of the store would have been nice. Most times, I do want to browse uninterrupted. Overall nice boutique with a good selection of timeless pieces and trendy pieces. read more

Not a huge selection, but always something interesting. A jacket caught my eye but I walked out with a new pair of boots- just $24. Nestled in the Stix shopping area in Midtown. There's not a lot of parking for any of the shops here. But this area is so worth spending at least a couple of hours in. This small boutique always has unique pieces you don't seem to find in other spots. And the prices are pretty on track with department stores. Lots of shirts, sweaters, skirts and dresses. This trip had a cute light suede jacket hanging as I walk in. Checked out the two colors and sizes and couldn't find one that fit me.........but, oh my !! a sale on darling knee high black boots !! And I needed a new pair. My choice in several sizes and walked out with a bargain. The staff is always nice but can be a little quiet. This is one of my favorite little boutiques in Reno! They have such a great variety and for various occasions. I've gotten dresses for casual brunch, night out with the girls and also weddings! The girls here are also extremely helpful with styling outfits and giving advice. Definitely a great place to check out after brunch across the street and any little afternoon, they do close early as do most boutiques. I came to look for a dress for a wedding that I'm going to and first thing when I got inside, the girl at the cash register greeted me but didn't look like she wanted to in the first place. the good thing is that I love the store so I am leaving a five star review, but if it was for customer service, it would probably be a 2 star. When I got to the register, I had to say the greeting and she didn't ask if I found everything OK, and with everyone else whom she rung up it was fine. but while I was in the changing room, I overheard her saying greetings to everyone else with such a good mannered tone. I don't know it was very off. But needless to say, I did find what I was looking for and I am so happy with my purchase! They have such beautiful dresses and hopefully I can come back again soon read more

DONT WAISTE your time here. The clothes are just okay, some times you can find something cute but over priced. The Staff is absolutely horrible! Visited here with my daughter this weekend. Really unique items and fairly priced. Dressing rooms were very busy and the wait was long to get in to try things on. The lady working was very helpful trying to get people things they needed. She welcomed every person that entered the shop. We asked her to save our items and we would come back first thing Sunday to try them on when the dressing rooms were less busy. Nomad is one of my favorite local boutiques. I started going to the first store in Truckee and was so happy to hear that it was coming to Midtown. There is a great selection of clothing to choose from, and they always get new, cute/trendy things in. I'm pretty sure I've come in at least once a week ever since it opened in Reno. The prices are pretty reasonable for a boutique. The owner, Alli, is so lovely and always greets people with enthusiasm and friendliness when she is in the store. I didn't go to the store I ordered online, in the beginning I had a hard time with sizing, didn't find the sizing chart on the website very helpful but once I contacted them the owner helped me decide which size would work better for me, super friendly and you can tell she is passionate about her business and wants to make her customers happy, something it's sometimes hard to find these days.....It was my first time ordering from this store so I wasn't sure what to expect when it comes to the quality of the clothes, on the website everything looks cute, and the prices are very reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised once I received my order, in three days and I'm in Chicago, very nice quality materials and style and the sizing was pretty accurate. Nomad Boutique in Midtown Reno was already one of my favorite places to shop for special occasions. But recently I have been keeping my eye out for something for maternity photos. I dread trying things on, so I was apprehensive to go look for anything. But I told one of the nice ladies that work there that I was looking, and asked if they'd have anything. Less than a week later, she came into my work (I work very nearby the store) and showed me some pictures of some dresses! I picked out a few I'd like, and she said they could hold them for me. When I made it in, I tried them on, and one of them was PERFECT. The price was also just right, and the entire experience all together could not have been any easier for me. (They even had shoes that matched AND that fit my swollen pregnant feet!) Definitely will be back in the future, and will recommend them to all my friends. Oh man, I love love this store. I was looking for the absolute right thing for a party I was going to in Reno and it was so last minute. I looked online and found Nomad. Usually what happens is that a store looks great online but when you go in, they don't have the right size, the selection is off.. so disappointing. But I totally found a dress that worked for my body type and I love it. The woman at the front desk ended up finding the dress for me too! I didn't even see it on the rack. This place is the best and hands down my favorite boutique. Both Reno and Truckee locations have a unique assortment of clothing and jewelry. They are also all organized by color, which makes it super easy to shop for your favorite colors to wear. Customer service is ALWAYS impeccable, and they are very easy to communicate with via email if necessary. I once had about 20 minutes to find something to wear to a wedding and the gal working helped me find exactly what I was looking for within 10 minutes.
