Is the club currently open? Are there COVID restrictions?

It is we were just there last weekend

Is poker knights open currently during this stage of the covid pandemic November 2020?

The owner told me they're opening on the 11th of Dec. I'm hoping to bring my wife to play some darts and meet some friends.

Does pokher knights arrange certain types of parties for female guests. 3somes moresomes, fantasies?.

We're from out of town - do we need a membership to participate?

Do you have to be 18 or 21?

18 to enter, 21 to drink.

How do I become a member? And or gain entry?

Come to PK club and you sign up for membership for a year (you can renew after year) Donations for single female is $20; Couple $50; single male $70… Read more

    How much does this cost?

Fir the wife and I, $10 for a year membership and $40 for the weekend. If you go on Friday, the cover carries over to Saturday. However, if you go on Saturday or just want to go in Friday, it is still $40.

Is this place worth with the experience?

The wife and I line it. We bring our own booze. Attempt to play darts, and pool. Go the the hot tub to relax, then go to a room and handle our business. We don't swing, and have never felt pressured to do so.

We meet for a wide variety of hikes around Reno, Lake Tahoe, the Sierra, and other places near and not-so-near. In addition, we camp, mountain/road bike, rock climb, ski, road trip, volunteer, and get together for social functions. As our group continues to grow, the scope of activities will expand. When we ask members why they joined the group, the answer given often is, "I love hiking, but my friends don't, and I don't want to go alone." Now we don't have to. We have hundreds of members who are all anxious to hit the trail, get outside, commune with nature, or just hang out with other group members who share this common interest. Not all of our outings are fit for everyone. Some are kid and dog friendly. Many are more difficult. Some are only for the most fit, such as peaking many of the peaks in the Sierra. It's up to you to know your limits and choose the events that are right for you. Whether it's a picnic and barbecue, a campout at a scenic location, or one of our countless hikes, you're sure to find something that suits your fancy. If you don't, feel free to suggest an outing using the "IDEAS" tab or email me or one of the Assistant Organizers. While we welcome all different levels of hiking skills, you should be aware of your comfort level and capabilities. Each person is responsible for their own gear and safety. If you are wondering what to bring, REI has a check list of items that you should carry (https://www.rei.com/learn/expert-advice/ten-essentials.html) If you have a question drop me or any of the assistant organizers an email. So they make-up yhe family activities this way. They have a wide variety of food and drink options here. Again, though, it's not a place to spend time on the colder evenings. Most daytime activities. Either way check them out and look at the calendars for any fun future activities. Place is amazing and very unique to the reno area. Something we have needed to livin up the growing reno culture. A business is only as good as its weakest link. Somewhere at Disabled American Veterans "DAV"…read moreDepartment of Nevada, Reno and DAV Reno Chapter 1 there is one or more weak links. The cruelty of boasting about providing services to Veterans but then not doing so, is so palpable, I'm choking on it. This review is for the DAV Reno only. DAV National mails out a monthly magazine to me that I rate as very well-done. DAV Reno could've been better. I so hate it when a business leaves me no choice but to write a scolding review with the negatives of a business. In business, consumer scolding is not an insult. It is a way for consumers like me to get a business to operate in an accurate and professional way. I was contacting this DAV Reno because I needed the help they boast in writing they offer. I left a message at (775) 321-4895, with the woman who answered who wouldn't give her name, for Travis, since his DAV business card has this number for him. No response. Weird, huh? And MORE than a bit annoying, even hurtful. I then left a message at (775) 321-4895, with the woman who answered who wouldn't give her name, for Frank, since he's listed as an officer for the DAV Reno Chapter 1 at the State of Nevada Secretary of State website. https://esos.nv.gov/EntitySearch/BusinessInformation No response. Weird, huh? And MORE than a bit annoying, even hurtful. I then left a message at (775) 321-4895, with the woman who answered who wouldn't give her name, for Jerome, since he's the current DAV Reno Adjutant. No response. Weird, huh? And MORE than a bit annoying, even hurtful. Good intentions only go so far. To truly help others, you have to take action in some way. Like actually returning phone calls and actually helping a Veteran reaching out to you for what you publicly boast you do. It is required of stewards that they be found trustworthy. 1 Corinthians 4:2 I've seen it before at a business where a person there has so much vainglory in the job title of their position while NOT doing the job the job title requires. Vainglory is defined as a deadly sin for a good reason. I am no longer accepting the things I cannot change because all advocacy is, at its core, an exercise in empathy. No surprise why Veterans succumb to suicide at a rate twice that of non-Veterans and why Nevada Veterans succumb to suicide at a 74% higher rate than rest of nation. It is non-profits such as Disabled American Veterans "DAV" Department of Nevada, Reno and DAV Reno Chapter 1 that are supposed to be on the front lines of fighting to reduce the staggering and horrifying number of Veterans who daily succumb to suicide. Veterans succumb to suicide at twice the rate of non-Veterans. In Nevada, Veterans succumbing to suicide is a staggeringly 74% higher that that already horrific rate. If you're not filling people's needs, then you're just tricking people. I see someone who needs help and I help, said Captain America, U.S. Army. There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest. A little consideration, a little thought for others, makes all the difference. -- Eeyore I say to DAV Department of Nevada, Reno and DAV Reno Chapter 1: Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, watching over them--not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. 1 Peter 5:2-3 The measure of good customer service is rectifying issues to the customers satisfaction. Businesses that develop and maintain a customer service mindset are able to learn from mistakes. My experience with this business brought to mind: Handle every situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or play with it, just pee on it (here with a review) and walk away. P.S. Don't message me because in spite of my several complaints to yelp, for years now I am unable to open up any messages in yelp to me :-(

It was already dark when we arrived, so I didn't notice much about the outside other than the gravel parking lot. We walked down a ramp and entered a fair sized gathering room that included walls decked out with posters from all of the various wars in which the veterans had fought, card tables with plain padded chairs, and a bar, and the room was clouded with smoke. I am no fan of cigarette smoke, so this was a disappointing discovery. After the lights and sounds were checked properly, we were invited back to the bunker area for the performance, where we sat in scattered folding chairs. The air was much fresher and cooler than the gathering room, and no smoking was allowed in this area, thank goodness. The play, appropriately named "Wounded", was an intense drama about wounded soldiers from the war in Iraq. It was performed well, and the bunker was a great aesthetic to the setting. It was put on by Merry War Theater Group, who presented themselves as a pop-up ensemble whose acts can be followed on Facebook or through their e-mail list, as they do not perform in just one arena. My heart and gratitude go out to our Veterans. However, I would like to preserve my lungs from the wretches of second hand smoke.
