What a phenomenal mini town center type of venue surrounded by everything you need! Tacos, check. Sandos, check. Pizza, check Beer and mixed drinks, double check! Ice cream...bakery, barber, Tesla chargers ... A host of restaurants and small business shops are all around and there's a picnicky central area with turf and corn hole too. I could be here all day and all night, especially to catch a lovely sunset with a beer in hand with the massive fireplace in the middle of it all. Absolutely loved this place and will be back one day some day soon! read more

This place is gorgeous, but in the winter you don't really want to go to this area. Also, the food options are on the higher end, and most of the time, the flavors and experience is not there. I also think it has a lot of potential, but it's kore catered to adults without children. Especially the night life. Most of it is date night feels. Which is good for those special occasions, just cuz and such. Awesome part is they do events as well like little markets, christmas, etc. So that's fun We went trick or treating as well. So they make-up yhe family activities this way. They have a wide variety of food and drink options here. Again, though, it's not a place to spend time on the colder evenings. Most daytime activities. Either way check them out and look at the calendars for any fun future activities. Place is amazing and very unique to the reno area. Something we have needed to livin up the growing reno culture. Don't get my rating wrong I love going here. But it can definitely more. What is missing. Not quiet sure yet. I'll update once I realize it. read more

The businesses here are mostly eateries. Hinoki O is by far my favorite. Grafted is next. Good food but we tend to hang out at the bar in the afternoons to drink win Armando's is a great place for fish, poultry and meat. Their burgers and chili are wonderful! Then there is Chui's Mexican restaurant which is fabulous also. read more

It's a nice place to walk through, pet friendly. It is nice for small businesses to have their shops..it seems the livlier places to be at is the bakery. However it seems pretty dry and dead when you're here on a weekday. I think it lacks inclusivity that other shopping centers have. I also walked passed a shopper that was looking for a specific boutique...everything looks alike so we both questioned this. Haha!! read more

I honestly didn't even know this place had a restaurant inside until my wife told me she had made reservations. Supposedly it's for club members only but on the rare occasion they open it up to regular folk like me. We ended up coming here with a couple of friends and really had a great time. It's an beautiful restaurant and home. The service was very polite and honestly a little too good. We had planned to have a longer evening catching go up with friends but the service was too quick and within an hour we were ordering desserts. We did end up telling the waiter to hold on the desserts after we ordered because we wanted to enjoy the evening some and a couple more rounds of drinks. Overall, all the food was delicious, I enjoyed the 14oz ribeye and everyone else a fish. The size of the salmon was the only gripe everyone seemed to have had. The place is on the $$$ end so anticipate that but regardless is well worth it. We did also tour the entire home afterwards which was fun and worthwhile. read more

I am a member of the Club and a resident of Rancharrah. Sadly, my experience with the Club manager, Robert Cuillard, has made membership undesirable. I've never met Robert in person or spoken on the phone with him. But after giving Robert constructive feedback privately via email, Robert retaliated against me ( for speaking up on a matter that directly affected other members and me ) by emailing my husband falsehoods. He also requested that my husband get me under control essentially. My husband and I are a team, and he doesn't order me around. We were shocked by Roberts's sexist email. I made a formal complaint with Rancharrah management regarding the club managers' behavior, which Robert or no one else acknowledged. Then Rancharrah, presumably Robert, promptly removed me from the Club Member's Facebook group in response to my formal complaint. I've never posted in the Facebook group, so I assume Robert wanted to flex his "power." Nonetheless, Rancharrah must abide by its membership policies and protocols outlined in the membership agreement. Rancharras failure to acknowledge my complaint is problematic but not surprising. An investigation should be underway, but I am unaware of one as they've gone silent. Before buying into Rancharrah, consider you'll be required to join the private Club that is poorly managed, in my opinion. Rancharrah owes my husband and me an apology. read more

Perenn Bakery has the most delicious breads and pastries. Their menu has great breakfast choices such as their Turkish eggs, avacado toast, and breakfast sandwich. Armando and sons butcher and meats are absolutely the best. Know Eric and Daniella from Oncline Village. The same high quality products and services continue at their Rancharrah location. Grafted is another great addition to food choices for lunch or dinner. Always fresh and innovative. Mari Chuy offers authentic Oaxacan food choices. Great indoor and outdoor atmosphere. Very disappointed in this spa. When they first opened I was impressed, however over the years it has gone downhill. Shower curtains were orange from not being cleaned, showers had a poor odor to them. I had taken a year off to give them a break to improve and same experience every time. The front staff can't figure out how to cash in gift cards, I have been overcharged multiples times. And have even had staff calling days later they for things they "forgot" to initially charge. For the price they charge, they need to be better. I don't get the relaxation this place is intended to have. All being said, I had a massage by Derek and he himself was amazing. It's unfortunate I won't be returning to see him due to the place he works at. read more

I recently attended a wedding here as a family member of the groom, and what a day. This is no discredit to the bride and groom, they did their part and I'm so sad that their special day was fraught with stress and literal sweat. I would like to start off by saying that the staff themselves (bar tender and busboy/server), YES only 2 people were there but they worked their butts off during the reception to try and be helpful but the fate was already sealed. To start the bride/groom had minimal communication from the venue pretty much up until the day of the wedding. The venue crammed 75 people most of which were over 6' tall into such a small space we couldn't even get out of our chairs without the other tables getting up and to Make it worse the space was not air conditioned at all because "it slipped their mind" , the wedding cake melted, and guests were so hot we had to actually vacate the room. The coordinator wasn't there for the rehearsal nor was she their for the wedding so the entire ceremony and reception only occurred because of the 3rd party dj not even a part of the venue was a true savior. The venue didn't have champagne for the toast nor did they offer it, we were told we could provide our own the day of and then told they didn't even have enough champagne glasses to serve it and they didn't, we all had to individually go up and get a glass. There were no refills on your water glass, other drinks were only provided at the bar and some people were charged and others weren't. There was no cake cutting There was no dancing We literally did a toast, ate and vacated. The bridal party couldn't even get water in their space they were allotted to get ready. I have never in my life been to a wedding where such little regard was given to a couple and bridal party on their very special day. A day that is supposed to be full of love, happiness and NO stress. Especially when you fork out the kind of cash a wedding takes. This place was terrible and if you want to have a stress free wedding and be valued as a couple and a customer I highly recommend you avoid this place like the plague. read more

The Club at Rancharrah is absolutely stunning! So much so that when they assured me in 2020 their new reception venue would be completed by my October 2021 wedding date, I chose to release another venue I was seriously considering and booked with Rancharrah. I had been reassured by 3 different employees that it would not be an issue for completion even if they ran into challenges during construction. I had been checking on the progress continually, and again kept being promised it would be completed. Unfortunately, I received a phone call a couple of weeks ago to let me know the venue would in fact not be completed, and at this time, they don't know when construction will begin. I was completely heartbroken as all my plans had been made based on the esthetic of the property based on venue renderings, promises and assurances that shouldn't have been made. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, and when you can't rely on the word and signed contracts of your vendors, it compounds that stress. While we have had to change our date due to availability of a new venue, we will have a beautiful and memorable day despite this set back. This venue will be amazing once completed; however, I would not sign any contracts or make any deposits until they have figured out what they are doing! read more

Hubby and I stopped in to have pre-dinner drinks and check out this place. I'd never been here before; however, its all over facebook so wanted to see. Plus I love tequila and they have a lot of brands available to try. It was about 3pm and we had our pick of seating, being so early. We decided to sit at the bar and try out the margueritas. I had a Blackberry and hubby had pineapple. These are poured margueritas, reposado tequila used. Pretty tasty! I'm usually a Cadillac marguerita gal but decided to try something different for this occasion. Since we were beginning our anniversary celebration with drinks, we asked for order of chips and pico de gallo. Perfect pico de gallo! Fresh chips too! Delicious. We enjoined chatting with the staff and my hubby asked if they had the Patron XO which is hard to find right now. They didn't but they offered us a taste of Cantera Negra. It was really tasty with that hint of tequila/coffee flavor. We told them we use Patron XO on our homemade flan which they said so do they. Next thing out comes an order of flan for us to share! It was delicious! And top it off with the leftover Cantera Negra we had in our glasses was the finishing touch. I'm sure we'll be back to try out other tequilas and menu items in the near future. In the meantime we bought a bottle of Cantera Negra from them so we can enjoy on our homemade dishes! I gave this 4 starts because it is a pricey venue; but very enjoyable. I am so sad that this was bought and is going to be retail and housing :( I just hoped they would still do weddings there! We were married on 10/3/15 and it was GORGEOUS! All of us girls got ready in the beautiful mansion and family got to have cocktails in there while we did pictures of bridal party and first look. We still hear from friends and family how amazing everything was! Kody Harrah was a pleasant person to work with and much more accommodating than the last "Coordinator" that i had to work with for a few months. I am a bride looking for a venue for my wedding. When I arrived at the gates, we were misguided and given unspecified directions by the gateskeeper. The people with me and I pulled in and tried to follow the directions as much as possible. We couldn't find the event coordinator anywhere and after searching for almost 20 minutes "Cruella de Ville" comes barreling up in a golf cart screaming at us to get off the property. Turns out it was the event coordinator. It was an honest mistake and we were forced off the property. The woman was rude and unprofessional. They will NEVER get my business and shouldn't get anyone else's. read more

We are still debating on our location for our wedding venue. We have been working with Kody Harrah and she's been awesome! She gave us a tour and explained everything to the fullest. She has given us a ton of options and offered to meet with us again to help us choose. The property is absolutely gorgeous! They will drive your guests from the parking lot to the venue, depending on how far away it is. At each location she showed us, she explained how wedding parties have been set up in the past to give us a visual of what we can do. We rented Rancharrah for my sister's wedding. It was nothing short of a DISASTER. The house was double booked so we were moved to the main house which was no where near where it was supposed to be. The air conditioner was broken in the main house. There was pigeon and dog poop all over the front porch and dog poop in the main mansion. There were broken bottles on the back porch from the previous event. The "Event Coordinator" was rude and unhelpful. We were told lights would be provided but they weren't. We had to rent those at the last minute. Last but not least, mice ate the croissants we left there the night before. I would not recommend this place unless it's under new management. read more
