She also acted as a Day of Coordinator and worked with the DJ and photographer to ensure the day ran smoothly. Judit helped us set up the day before the wedding. She met with us several times throughout the year to ensure we had no further questions. Typically, Day of Event planners can cost thousands and this is a special, and crucial perk that is included in the cost of the wedding. While hiding before the ceremony, Judit brought me and my bridesmaids a glass of champagne while we waited behind a curtain to walk down the aisle which was just so sweet and thoughtful. Judit truly has a heart of gold and genuinely wanted my Husband and I to have an elegant yet affordable wedding. I cannot believe this Venue is not booked YEARS in advanced. The price is unbeatable and the views are breathtaking. I love the modern aesthetic which made for timeless photos. It rained most of our wedding day and the views and ambience was still stunning. The animal area has been cleaned up and there are tons of working sinks to wash hands. You can purchase animal food, pony rides, and bottles to feed the animals. There is also a play gym, train rides, hay rides, trike races, zip lines, slides, dirt to shovel, and more. My three year old easily spent over three hours here and loved every minute. We will definitely be back in the fall!! My only suggestion to andelin farms is to add a fan in the baby nursing hut. It was very stuffy in there.

I was surprised to see how they pushed the entrance area past the barn, but totally makes sense for those who may want to just stop by to shop and not want to enjoy the festivities. The staff were all friendly and kept up with keeping the animal pens clear of poop, especially for the petting ones. They had signage to designate which ones you could feed the animal food to and which ones you couldn't enter due to the animals resting. I really liked how they sectioned off all the animals off to the left side with its own entrance and exit and lots of sanitizing and handwashing stations nearby. They had some new things at the farm too. I saw signage advertising Cuddling with Calves for $20 (kids 8+). They also had some additional calves to see and pet along the way. So adorable! Outside of the animal area, they had a new section, Peacock Pedalers, that allowed kids and adults to ride tricycles around. They also had refreshment stations within the farm for drinks, kettlecorn, and other snacks, which made it convenient. What surprised me was that the features that were typically busy on our past visits, like the mini zip lines and the barrel ride, were very little to no waits. They offered lots of seating for taking a break and grabbing some food from the three food trucks they offered. The pulled pork nachos were yummy! It was a great deal to spend the day at the farm for $20 tickets. Yes, they offered lots of additions like the animal feed, train tickets, and gem sluicing for a price but not really necessary to have a great experience. The baby chicks and goats were the highlight of our visit. My daughter wants to go back next weekend!

We had such an INCREDIBLE time that I assured the girl I talked to at the end that I'll be coming back year after year that they do this event. I truly hope they continue to host more fun events like this as I would love to sign up for them all. We got to dress up as well as enjoy everyone else's creative costumes. I really enjoyed getting to choose a costume for this event. The decorations around the mansion were spooky and cute. The live music set a perfect mood, as well as the yummy snacks floating around. I didn't try many as they didn't really have any vegetarian options, but my boyfriend let me know they were tasty. I did try the chocolate "bugs" at the end which were creative and yummy. The drink competition was a whole bunch of fun. That was a huge highlight of the night. Four local bars competed for a chance to win best cocktail- we all tried, voted, and celebrated. I really enjoyed that they also had a bartender there for other drinks after the samples. Surprisingly, some events fail to provide casual drinks and it keeps the evening/event flowing much more smoothly when you're not worried about being thirsty or hungry. The sparkling waters in between the wine was also very appreciated, I truly feel more comfortable with my favorite drinks of sparkling water and wine in hand (clearly). We got to do a quick craft downstairs and mod podge some tissue paper onto candle votives which was a fun activity and also let us go home with a memory of the night. It's also something that holds sentimental value but is usable, so again is appreciated. There was also a silent auction with wonderful items. I bid on many things and won a class pass for yoga. I enjoyed this because there were so many great options, and you got to see them all at once with no pressure. This night was so special, I can't say enough great things about it. The experience was made even more special by the fancy concoctions offered by several local drink establishments including the Emerson and a silent raffle! We loved moving around the mansion, sampling drinks, and learning bits of Reno's history. The candle votive decorating was also a fun, simple activity that we enjoyed doing together while munching on delicious snacks. I arrived a little early and stopped at the bar by the pool for a cocktail. The service was very friendly, the bar was fully stocked, and my cocktail was perfect. I was even able to bring it out to the driving range and hit a few balls before my lesson. The course itself is absolutely beautiful. We were there for a late afternoon lesson around 4 or 5, so we got to watch the sun start to set over the course. The views were spectacular, and at one point we saw probably a dozen deer making their way across the different holes. It was such a beautiful setting. Donny the golf pro, was fantastic. I've taken other golf lessons, and this was easily one of the best I've had. He was knowledgeable, patient, and made the lesson both helpful and enjoyable. ArrowCreek is a private club, so you do need to be a member or visit as a guest. Membership is definitely on the higher end, otherwise I would love to join! For now, I'll happily come back for lessons whenever I can. Beautiful course, incredible views, great service, and an excellent golf experience. I can't wait to go back.

I think since spring I have been here at least twice a month. I have enjoyed wine paired dinners, vodka flights with caviar, whiskey flights and snacks, and tonight........grilled cheese and wine. As only chef can. The simplest of childhood foods, Chef Araceli elevated to a new adult craving. Then, with Katie's wine knowledge, were accompanied with the perfect wines. El Matador- romesco, Iberico ham, grilled green onions, idiazabal, and queso Iberico on a perfectly grilled bread paired with Cava. My tastebuds were transported back to Spain. Mmmmm Peachy- fresh peaches with just the right amount of rosemary were grilled, then melted in with Munster and pork belly. And the fabulous earthy epoisses. Accompanied by a light Chablis Premier Cru. Intermission salad was a delightful light creation of arugula, pine nuts, Parmigianno, and lemon. Truffle Shuffle- when you thought chef couldn't top the previous bites. Rich savory caramelized onions and mushrooms, micro greens, fontina, and caccio Al tartufo. Just had to be paired with a barolo. Strawberry Delight- kept the theme. Grilled croissant bread layered with strawberry coulis, Nutella, strawberries, mascarpone and mozzarella. And a beautiful light brut rosé. I love a grilled cheese, but this dinner really spoiled me. No simple cheese and white bread will ever be acceptable again. I require a fresh country style, sourdough or oo la la a croissant bread. Topped with layered of various cheeses from around the world. Served with a lovely glass of wine.
