Raclette night. Yum.
Marilyn D.

We went for Raclette Friday - or was it Fromage Friday? We were there for a few hours enjoying CHEESE and more CHEESE and great wines in a pleasant atmosphere. I cannot wait to go back. Enjoy oozy, melty French Raclette cheese with baguette, cornichons, roasted potatoes, apple, and charcuterie. Such a great meal!

If anywhere took covid in stride, it's this place!!! They used to do large hosted fabulous dinners with pairings galore!! Now, since none of that can happen, they figured out an amazing way to stay afloat and thrive in those wacky 2020 world!! Sign up for their emails! Weekly they will post what their meals for the week are, you can purchase a meal for your family, pick it up and enjoy! The meal comes with all the sides, and even suggested wine pairings(that they will sell you too if you want!) Everything is fresh and fantastic, the menu is constantly changing! And they selections are always unique!! Perfect for a romantic at home date night!! Weekly they include a rib meal, if you don't know what to order, get the ribs! They are amazing! Oh and as an added bonus, they have an insane rotating cheese menu!! You remember all the artisan cheeses from wedge cheese shop... this place gave them a home when their landlord kicked them out!! So get ready for all the best cheeses in the world coming straight to your living room! While I can't wait for the hosted dinners to come back, I love the to give options they invent weekly! You must order in advance, so sign up for their emails, and get ready for your weekly drool fest.

I recently ordered one of their Vietnamese grilled chicken to-go meals for dinner. The ordering process was so simple, if you subscribe to their email list. They send me the monthly menus, I respond to order, and Laurel usually responds within a few hours or less. When I arrived to pick the food up, they had a table setup and my wine ready for me, I just paid (added on a few cookies for dessert) and the food was brought to my car hot and ready a few minutes later. When I got the food home and dished it out, the portions were extremely generous and everything looked and smelled beautiful. The Asian salad was simple yet delicious with fresh crunchy lettuce, almonds, and noodles and a light Asian dressing. The chicken was grilled to perfection and the rice was cooked perfectly. I would have liked the veggies cooked a little longer with a pinch more salt. But overall the meal was delicious. Laurel and Mark made a wine pairing selection for me and it paired PERFECTLY.& never would have thought to Pair red wine with Vietnamese food but it was absolutely divine. And the COOKIES. The cookies that I added on at checkout were moist and delicious, I wanted to eat 3 more! Overall, the ordering, pickup, and dining process were all pretty seem less and I've been excited to order another dinner ever since!

One of the reasons I drive to Reno. Despite the loss of Laurel the quality remains high. Picked up some great wines on this visit too.

I also think it has a lot of potential, but it's kore catered to adults without children. Especially the night life. Most of it is date night feels. Which is good for those special occasions, just cuz and such. Awesome part is they do events as well like little markets, christmas, etc. So that's fun We went trick or treating as well. So they make-up yhe family activities this way. They have a wide variety of food and drink options here. Again, though, it's not a place to spend time on the colder evenings. Most daytime activities. Either way check them out and look at the calendars for any fun future activities. Place is amazing and very unique to the reno area. Something we have needed to livin up the growing reno culture. Don't get my rating wrong I love going here. But it can definitely more. What is missing. Not quiet sure yet. I'll update once I realize it.

We were in the area and saw the big black widow spider and thought what a large Halloween store. But we were pleasantly mistaken - What used to be a bowling alley has now been repurposed into an absolute wonderland of an experience. It's a full blown kid friendly adult friendly haunted warehouse. My 4 year old son had an absolute blast, it starts of with a bit of trick or treating as your making your way through the adventure, then turns into a full on experience as each and every room has a theme from Jurassic park, aliens, robots, clowns, skeletons, a mirror room that I conveniently banged my head into, all the way to the super psychedelic tunnel. Which leads you to the Macabre mansion - for adults and children too. THEY ARE EXTREMELY ACCOMMODATING- asking how scary you'd like the experience to be. Seeing as my Little guy is 4 we asked for no jump scares. And made it through enjoying every bit of the way. My little guy hugged the zombie, high fives leather face and complimented his chainsaw, noting it looked like it could use some oil, but the blood would do. We had an absolute blast. They are doing a Christmas themed experience as well. The owner has a dream, retired and sunk all of her savings into an experience we can all appreciate. I hope to see them sound for many many more years to come. Do yourself a favor and check them out! You won't be disappointed.

What a beautiful and quaint venue with both inside and outside space. Located inside the Rancho San Rafael Park and bordering the Ranch House grounds is the Wilbur D. May Arboretum. There are multiple rooms with a kitchen and bar area. I noticed there was an upstairs available too. I was informed that the venue was inexpensive. If you want to have a sit-down meal the space is limited. The weather was nice which meant a lot of people took advantage and were seated outside in the courtyard. The full house not including the kitchen is $90.00 an hour with a two-hour minimum and a maximum of 150 people along with a $500 cleaning deposit which is refundable. If you guests need to take a breather they can walk a couple of steps and be in the trees. Thumbs Up!

It's one of the best breakfast burrito's in town, it's the airport so you have to live with double the price even if you're in Reno! A double screwdriver with Tito's is $18.99 so be prepared to pay for a couple drinks for 2 and a Breakfast Burrito is around $106 and then the tip! I don't mind, I rather get here early and relax prior to my flight than stand in long lines.

The host who sat us didn't appear to want to be there and his personality and candor reflected that. Our waitress was better, but not by a whole lot. I ordered one of their featured cocktails and as you can see in the photo, the presentation compared to how it's photographed in their marketing is fairly sad. It was tasty, though. So there's that. The food was much like the service. It was just ok. I ordered the "spicy" pasta dish with grilled chicken added. Flavor was pretty flat on both the pasta and chicken, and there wasn't much spice to speak of. My wife's club sandwich was decent...leaving the fries as the stand out between the two meals. My opinion, the food and service doesn't match the cost. This was a $100 meal. Yes, it's in an airport so you can expect inflated pricing. However, I don't feel it's worth the price. Ambiance is nice, though. Definitely would be a good spot to catch a pre-flight drink or two.
