There are also a lot of fun events, including live music, receptions, a neat 4th of July event, and their annual holiday faire. I've taken several art classes here too - they're very chill and fun, kind of like workshops where you get some instruction but also get to play and follow your own vision and creativity. The classes vary widely too, it's not just painting but also includes things like mosaics, beading, collage, and so on. Finally, the place just has a great vibe - historical exhibits, pretty antiques, nice art, and nice staff.

From the moment you walk in, you're immersed in an eclectic, but cozy and welcoming, vibe. Decor leans on theater and nostalgia with a touch of humor (see the cat portraits on the piano). Check-in for your pre-bought tickets is by name, although you're sent a QR as well. Comfort continues as you're allowed to select your own seat: from the front-row fold-down theater seats to the tiered rows of soft but supportive 3- and 5-person couches. I'm pretty sure I've never been more comfortable watching a play before, which is nice when you're there for a 2.5-hour runtime. They recommend you arrive 30 minutes prior to show start to get the best seats, but in this intimate space, with seating in front of, and on both sides of the center stage, I can't imagine any seats without a good view of the action. The stadium levels mean you also don't have half a person's head blocking your view. Drinks and candy available downstairs, which is also where the children's theater and restrooms are located. Wide range of shows offered this season, something for everyone. That may also be the one lowlight, as Shakespeare and Buttcracker likely require vastly different skills to produce. TIP: Free parking after 5 at the courthouse parking lot (76 Court St, just a short walk across the bridge) or park at Parking Gallery on First and Sierra and they will validate.

The sun catchers came out fantastic!!! After we finished the sun catchers we could take a little break before lunch they had some fun games to play like Lincoln logs and this gears game. For lunch we walked down to the lake to eat on this big and cool rock Nicole & Nicole (owners of kindred) nicely carried our packed lunches and water bottles in a wagon for us. They usually do a fun activity after lunch at the lake like when I went we made fairy castle/tower out of rocks and stuff we could find around the lake and we learned how to make a fairy bed. The day before they made these cool rock towers. And we could put our feet in water which was super refreshing. Then we would walk back up the hill and go back to kindred where they had a sweet surprise for us it was homade rocket popsicles with orange juice and pineapple chunks. It was delicious!!! Can't wait to go again next year!! P.S. the honey sticks are really good and the shirts are really cool and Nicole and Nicole are very nice!

The atmosphere is cool as it's kind of like an industrial storefront in the Dickerson road arts district. Lots of cool arts stuff outside. I was driving by and I was like, yes, this must be the gallery. I visited the group art show to check it out and it all looked great. Didn't make the opening as I'm shy, sober and socially awkward but heard it went well. I hear Reno Art Works has art classes in the space which seems pretty awesome too. What a great community arts resource!

The gallery changes and is currently set up with dog and cat pieces to benefit and raise awareness for the SPCA. They host various events like bands and my personal favorite a public "Stich N' B!tch".
