They both came back the next day on time (texting me first), picked everything up and away they went. Great experience. There are multiple rooms with a kitchen and bar area. I noticed there was an upstairs available too. I was informed that the venue was inexpensive. If you want to have a sit-down meal the space is limited. The weather was nice which meant a lot of people took advantage and were seated outside in the courtyard. The full house not including the kitchen is $90.00 an hour with a two-hour minimum and a maximum of 150 people along with a $500 cleaning deposit which is refundable. There are multiple rooms inside along with a bar and a kitchen area. They have big refrigerators and a fair amount of space inside the kitchen. The courtyard is shaded and very comfortable, even in the summer. The best part I think is the access to the park. If you guests need to take a breather they can walk a couple of steps and be in the trees. Thumbs Up!

At the back was the kitchen where Reno Recipes prepared the meal. Outback is an amazing fully pavered yard with comfy seating and overhead lighting. Pictures inside show the area set up for outdoor dining. Now that would be a fabulous space for eating al fresca. The space seems great for small to medium sized events. The ones your house is just too small for, yet you want that homey cozy vibe. Street parking in the area is free.

The ceremony area easily fit our guest list of 40, with room to spare. Then, it doubled as an area for games and later a bit of casual dancing by just moving a few chairs. We had three signature drinks available to the guests but it was an open bar so there were other offerings to be had. I really love this space and I hope that they can expand into having food and more regular happy hours. It is on the alley back side of Virginia Street so a little bit difficult to find but it is definitely worth checking out. If you need a small sized venue you could probably accommodate easily 50 people with comfortable couches, brick walls, a piano and a nice size bar in the back corner. Really love the space.

There is an indoor space and an outdoor space as well as a covered area which sort of combines both. My friend's wedding utilized all of them briefly. I liked all the small touches like signs and decor and I appreciated that they had some sun umbrellas, unfortunately they all had holes in them. We were looking forward to using the photo booth as well but it was not working. There was a miscommunication by the staff and it caused the wedding to begin much later than planned but they allowed my friend more time at the venue because the mistake was theirs so it all worked out in the end. If you are looking at using this venue, I tried to include as many base photos as possible so you can get a good idea of what you will be working with. I would recommend it for smaller, more casual weddings only. There is limited parking and there are only one or two staff members at most so you and your wedding party will be responsible for a lot of what needs doing. If you are on a budget, this could be a great option, but bear in mind you will have to use their designated caterer for any food. Also, if the lavender blooming is important to you, be sure to check that you are scheduling your event for the right time of the year.
