I attended a wedding at lavender Ridge and it was done beautifully their spaces outdoors with all the lavender flowers. Just perfect in the seating outside was very well done and then they have a hall for tables and chairs where you can eat and then a dance floor I truly would recommend this place for wonderful venue. I think you would be very happy there. read more

I attended a wedding here in May and although the lavender was not in bloom it was still a lovely event. There is an indoor space and an outdoor space as well as a covered area which sort of combines both. My friend's wedding utilized all of them briefly. I liked all the small touches like signs and decor and I appreciated that they had some sun umbrellas, unfortunately they all had holes in them. We were looking forward to using the photo booth as well but it was not working. There was a miscommunication by the staff and it caused the wedding to begin much later than planned but they allowed my friend more time at the venue because the mistake was theirs so it all worked out in the end. If you are looking at using this venue, I tried to include as many base photos as possible so you can get a good idea of what you will be working with. I would recommend it for smaller, more casual weddings only. There is limited parking and there are only one or two staff members at most so you and your wedding party will be responsible for a lot of what needs doing. If you are on a budget, this could be a great option, but bear in mind you will have to use their designated caterer for any food. Also, if the lavender blooming is important to you, be sure to check that you are scheduling your event for the right time of the year. Overall my friend was happy with her wedding here and I hope all of you who choose this location will be too! Hope this helps : ) read more

The switch up is unreal, had I wonderful conversation with Cameron on the phone. But when My husband, daughter ( bride to be) and her fiancé and showed up, it took him a moment to get up off his chair and of his phone to greet us he just stared until i said hello are you cameron? He seemed friendly showed us around, we went into the office to talk about pricing as we had a specific budget and he had a wedding package that was perfect . He informed us that we had to use the in house catering Fig Tree( thats a whole other review) we told him we'd tried to contact them as it was important to meet with them first for a tasting before we would book the venue. He agreed. We had questions about deposits and a few logistical details, we have left several messages with him and fig tree with regard to booking and i guess he must have said something to Fig tree because before our tour they were going to send menus and afterwards they would not return our call. My daughter and i were disappointed but not surprised. Anyway lavender ridge Is a beautiful place but obviously we were not a good fit for them. Im glad my daughter and her fiancé will not be starting forever at that place . We found a beautiful venue where the people were responsive and amazingly helpful and we booked immediately, lavender ridge obviously didn't want or need our business. read more

What an amazing venue literally heaven on Earth. My daughter's wedding was beautiful. And... I understand most weddings have iterriers and our certainly did!! But because of the allotment time allowed by the venue every program was pushed by employees rushed and dictated every moment of the wedding, dinner and reception. By the time we finish dinner they're rushing us to take pictures cut the cake they dictated how the pictures were taken and in what fashion. Following being ushered on over to the reception area where the DJ/OWNER played none of the songs on the Groom & Bride requested!!! All in all we paid thousands of dollars traveled hundreds of miles to be able to be there from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m..... they were having his packet up by 10:30. Very unfortunate. So I wouldn't suggest this venue unless you want a Bing,Bang,Boom wedding. read more

My wife and I just had our wedding at Lavender Ridge. Like all weddings, at least the ones I've been part of, things goes awry quickly... but lo and behold, not ours. The ladies were able to show up many hours before to utilize the brides dressing room which comes with multiple stations for their hair/makeup to be done. Our florist, decorator, and caterer had plenty of time and room to get their ducks in order. Honestly, it was seamless. Cameron is incredibly attentive from start to finish. If you're considering using this as your wedding venue, you should. PS - it's absolutely gorgeous here. Rustic wooden architecture, with a waterfall to boot. read more

This place is amazing!! Cameran and his staff made the biggest day of my life feel so easy and stress free. They are well organized, friendly and think of everything so you don't have to. Thank you all sooo sooo sooo much for making our special day extra special. read more

My husband and I got married here in August. It was absolutely beautiful, and everything was in bloom. First, we had a great consultation about a month before the wedding. Since we've never done this before and neither of us are really particular about the small things, we were pretty clueless about itineraries or how it should be decorated. Cameron helped immensely, getting a timeline of events all planned out. We had left the decorating up to them, and it ended up more beautiful than we could have imagined! We used the in-house DJ, Paul and he was great. He kept everything going according to the timeline we set up. Everything went so smoothly with the help of the Lavender Ridge staff! The best part, the pricing was some of the most reasonable I found. The venue itself was so beautiful, and we constantly hear from our guests how gorgeous it was. read more

We just eloped here this past week, and everything was perfect! I was looking for a place available in the evening with a good views, and it was beautiful! Helped my vision come to life, and was planned only days before, so thank you so much Cameron for making it possible! Lavender Ridge is a beautiful location, and you can get some great pictures! They have a cute photo booth too that's part of their package and the elopement package was for 3 hours and reasonably priced, which gave us the time to decorate a little, have our first dance, champagne toast(which they provided) and cutting of the cake! I was very happy I picked this location! read more

What a beautiful place for a wedding! The layout of the location is well suited for a wedding and laid out nicely. The small field of lavender is gorgeous. I can only imagine it in full bloom; when I was there, only a small portion of the flowers had blossomed (I'm not familiar with lavender season). While the indoor reception area was small, it made a nice pass through to get food and alcohol. There was ample space outside for the dinner/food area and plenty of dirt for fun and games like oversized Jenga and cornhole. I'm not sure if those games were provided by the location or brought by the wedding party. I do recommend this location as a wedding venue. It was a wonderful experience and I can't wait to go back and see it again. read more

We had our wedding on 6/16/18. This venue is adorable! Each of our guests told us how much they enjoyed it. The grounds are immaculate and there are so many little details that add to it's charm. The lavender wasn't in full bloom yet, but we knew that was likely when we booked several months before. Cameron Harris was amazing to work with! He answered my bajillion questions (sometimes twice) he was always prompt at returning any calls, texts and emails and coordinated the hell out of our day to keep me from being a bridezilla or having a meltdown. He knows what he's doing and helped make our special day amazing! read more

I really love this little store. They grow the lavender in fields on-site, and sell a variety of products made from lavender. Lotions, soaps, shampoo, fragrance mist, and other body products are sold. Lavender sachets, eye pillows, and other wonderful products abound. And of course, if you want pure lavender oil they sell that as well. In addition to the lavender products, they sell various gift and decorative items. The store is inside what was once a regular house, so you walk through the rooms of the house to find all kinds of beautiful and unique items. I went in to create a gift basket for my mom, and the staff helped me greatly in selecting the items. Last but not least, the resident friendly golden retriever (can't recall her name at the moment) is on the grounds. She is even featured in some of their gift cards! Finally, they also have an area that can be rented for group gatherings, like weddings, etc. It is beautiful, especially in spring/summer when the lavender fields are in bloom. I highly recommend Lavender Ridge, as the quality of the products are great, and the staff are helpful and friendly. read more

We had our wedding here 6/15/2019. This venue is amazing! There are lavender fields and although the lavender wasn't in bloom yet, the the air was filled with the fragrance of fresh lavender. The grounds are immaculate and Cameron was great to work with. Throughout the course of about a year, he made planning easy, since I live out of state-he was available to answer all my crazy questions (text, email, phone) & day of he & his staff did an amazing job of accommodating my every need. They took care of so many things for me and relieved so much of the stress that comes along with planning a wedding. Cameron gave me so many ideas and tips on how to make the day flow properly. They really know their business and because of that I was at ease. Their DJ & Photobooth services were both convenient & awesome. My guests raved about the photobooth & how much fun they had! The machine yields two photos & Outside there's an album for your guests to stick one or both for your memories. The views of the mountains are gorgeous, a must see. Great location for beautiful rustic pictures. Lavender Ridge is a hidden treasure in the midst of Reno, NV. There's so many more wonderful things I can say, But most of all we totally recommend using this venue. I feel so blessed to of found Lavender Ridge. read more

I adore this little shop. We pulled in on a random Tuesday, mid-day so there was plenty of parking available. Their lovable retriever greeted us at the door and followed us around the shop while we smelled the fresh-made spices and other aromatics. The prices are a little higher but definitely worth it for the quality. They had a much larger selection of goods than I thought so it's worth traveling through every room in the house if you like to browse. What I especially loved is that the owner actually gave me tips for making my own lavender spray when I had inquired about theirs. I don't know about you, but those are the kind of things that make me want to buy their product anyway just to support the business. Anyone who puts the needs of the customer over their pocketbook is worth 5 stars to me. read more

So beautiful! I love this place! I visit Reno almost every summer and I always make sure to stop here! I love little individual, family owned places like this. The lavender field is so pretty and the gift shop is full of interesting little knick-knacks. My favorite product is the lavender astringent.. it smells and works great! In the summer they have lavender ice cream, which tastes amazing! I'm hopefully coming to Reno this September, so I'll be dropping by Lavender Ridge! read more

Beautiful venue for a wedding! Lots of space and all of the furniture, decorations, and buildings in the place really adds to the character. Feels homey and local. It is right on 4th street with loud cars racing by which you certainly notice. But a great spot for a wedding nevertheless. Plenty of room for 100+ guest list wedding. Guests can mingle anywhere on the property and enjoy the lavender plants as well! They were gorgeous! We were guests so I'm not sure of how accommodating Lavender Ridge is as a wedding venue, but it seemed like everything went as planned! I want to go back and shop for lavender products! read more

What a lovely location for a small wedding. Nice lawn. Simple waterfall. Outdoor seating for about 100. Small little catering shack in the back with a patio works well. Could become a bit crowded. The approach to the area for the wedding walks through a field of lavender. It makes a long beautiful approach for the wedding party while the songs are playing. We had a good time. Weddings are about the people. And all the right people with this one. Be sure you have wedding coordinator who works with you. That's all I know for a small wedding this could work well read more

Oh...so disappointed. We arrived and although the fields were not in blooming season, the place looked desolate. It was so nondescript that it was difficult to find. I would have expected clear signage. It appeared to be defunct and we almost didn't go through the entrance. As we got out of the car, there was only one other couple there. We walked around because their website said that the shop would be open from 11am to 2pm. We couldn't find the "shop." A man called for us from across the field and asked if we were looking to buy stuff. We shook our heads, "yes." He pointed towards the little/tiny shed that his wife was in. We walked across the path to get there. He said, "Yep. It's a one-butt shop." Only one person fits there, no joke." Well, we opened the door and sure enough. It was one person in there and the man who was running the shop. He didn't introduce himself to us and was very unfriendly. We waited for the woman currently inside to leave so we could go in. The two of us could barely fit inside. It was so tight that we couldn't even see all the products. To top it off, there were no samples. The items are very expensive and you can't sample anything to see if you will like it. It trumps the purchase of things you may like but can't decide. Well, it was so awkward to leave without buying anything that my husband bought me a candle, sugar scrub and a lipgloss. So expensive and so disappointed. The man would only accept cash or checks. On top of that, he overcharged for one of the products and said he hit the wrong key. That was okay. It happens. Human error. Left the place. Arrived home and lit my candle. No surprise. The candle does not emit an odor of lavender. It doesn't smell like anything unless your nose touches the melting wax to smell it. The lipgloss is so thin and no emollients. It smells very lightly like lavender but it is so soft that it feels like vaseline. You can't really push it up as it will bend. Not happy. The scrub mix is so loaded with scrub that it is hard to get the oil on your skin as it is primarily sugar. I LOVE lavender and purchase tons of lavender products at shows and fairs. I knew the fields were not blooming. But, I cannot see how this is such a nice venue for events when it looks so run-down. Let alone, the person who was cashiering in the shack, I am assuming the owner, was so unfriendly. We had to ask questions about the place and products. Otherwise, he just stood there staring at us. Very, very uncomfortable. The products? Very disappointing. What a shame because I love to purchase anything that is pure lavender. Cara C. read more

I just love Lavender Ridge. I probably go there way too much. They are constantly getting new, trendy little home items and they are my go to place for gifts. Their lavender items are a tad pricey but I would expect this because they are made from their own lavender. Can't beat it! read more

Lavender Ridge I used this venue for my daughters wedding. I booked this place in the winter when everything is dormant in Reno. You just can't believe how beautiful it is when the flowers bloom and all the trees leaf out. If that's not enough the glow of white lights make this venue enchanting. Lavender Ridge is a family owned and run venue that pays attention to every detail. Every aspect of the wedding from the ceremony to the dancing is orchestrated with excellent customer service and professionalism. I used their bartender and DJ. The DJ is also the wedding coordinator. He did a great job! This place could be used for a small party as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone! read more

We held our daughter's wedding here 5/28/17. It was incredibly beautiful, and all the guests loved the venue. All the tables and chairs were set up before we arrived. A couple of small things had to be switched, done with no issues and all went well. After the ceremony on the upper lawn, the guests moved down to the patio for cocktails and outdoor games, which were a hit. The patio is a lovely area and comfortably accommodated our 100 guests. Buffet dinner, the bar, and cupcakes were served from the 'barn" with plenty of room to move around. After dinner, everyone moved back to the lawn and upper patio for dancing, and outdoor tables were set up with nice lighting and plenty of chairs for the observers. The bar moved from the lower area to the upper area so smoothly, there was no downtime at all. Thank you for a magical evening! read more

I've driven by Lavender Ridge many times with never enough time to stop. But after reading the great reviews, the little girl I nanny and I are going this coming Wednesday between her naps. She'll love the golden retriever and smelling the flowers (smelling flowers is one of her favorite things to do), and I'll love looking at and perhaps buying some of their products. I want to grow lavender in my Reno garden, and figure they'll be able to help me with all sorts of advice. My next review will be after our visit. read more

Huge praise goes out to Mike Harris, owner of Lavender Ridge. After I mentioned to him that I was having joint pain deep in my hip (so bad it was keeping me from sleeping), he suggested two of his products that he sells in his gift store, "Grosso Lavender Oil and Lavender Muscle Gel." He explained that using these two products together decreases the inflammation, which then decreases the pain. It has worked so well, I am amazed. Cute boutique, and fun place to take a friend from out of town for some lavender lemonade.

My husband and I were married at Lavender Ridge a little over a year ago. It was beyond perfect. The entire landscape is beautiful, great for pictures and awesome to have a ceremony and reception at. We walked down to the ceremony through lavender fields, which smelled amazing! The ceremony took place on the grass in front of a waterfall, tucked away from any noise or traffic. The reception building is also very nice, very clean and modern. The view is amazing, as you eat outside you gaze upon the beautiful Nevadan mountains. We had our wedding close to sunset and it made the night that much more magical. As the sun set behind the mountains the whole landscape was bathed in pinks, yellows, golds and oranges. Absolutely breathtaking! Like I said before it was beyond perfect! I would highly recommend Lavender Ridge. It was not only a beautiful venue, but owner's Mike and Kristy were fantastic to work with. They were very helpful and beyond accommodating, very nice people! It was a wedding you could only dream of having, but in this case my dream wedding came true...thank you Kristy and Mike for making Jesse and I's day beyond perfect! read more
