I went every 2 or so weeks for a training session so I knew how to properly work her in the saddle and on the ground and correct her when she got out of line for when I got her home. she went from a rude, hard headed toddler, to a rideable, knows her manners, still hard headed at times but now goes out on trail by herself! the goal was to have a horse I could ride out on trails and work in an arena when I wanted. Goal achieved! I was able to ride her out 3.8miles by herself the day I picked her up from training. I also trailered in my gelding for a lesson as well. We watched them being weighed and fed. Glenn was very informative and showed us their fiber room. They also have a wool shop where we bought a saddle rug, alpaca socks, dryer wool balls, and a white alpaca shawl! Such treasures! His wife helped us in the gift shop. They also had a 14 year old girl who was quite helpful with the alpacas and all around their 5 acres... from operating the tractor, to bailing hay! What a great experience!

I have been with this vet for over a year and it has been full of stress and uncertainty. I have…read morethree cats. Two need veterinary attention more often. One has seizures and needs medication twice daily. The other one has a food allergy. In the year that I have been with Remsen, my seizure cat has missed her needed medication multiple times due to the clinic not filling on time. They say that you can text them to refill the prescription but 9 times out of 10 they don't answer. My cat had been seizure free for 6 months and is now having them again because of medication missing. I give them a week before my current bottle runs out to fill it and they have screwed that up more times than is forgivable. I asked for an ultrasound for my cat that has a food allergy because it was suspected ibs. IBS is ONLY diagnosed with ultrasound. I was told that the ultrasound wasn't necessary. When I said I think it's a food allergy, Remsen told me that it would be a long process to rule out an allergy so it wasn't necessary to put my cat through it since she just figured it was ibs. I took my cat in four times in two months because of how her stomach looked and I was repeatedly brushed off. Remsen came in the room on the last visit and said "I looked at all the notes from the previous visits and I saw that it's been the same concern each time". She knew exactly what my concern was yet still decided to brush me off and prescribe medication for a condition my cat did not have. I had to take it upon myself to change my cats food for the fourth time without veterinary input. Turns out I was right and it was an allergy to chicken and my cat is now thriving again. The complete and utter lack of respect for the owner that knows their pet and is with them every day is crazy. If your animal actually needs things, do not go to this vet.

I had tried training him on my own, hired a personal dog trainer to come to my house, and attended several training classes offered by other training facilities and though he learned quickly he was a "selective listener" and not well behaved in public! I first enrolled in beginning obedience at TMDTC and was amazed at the quality of the instruction. TMDTC taught me how to work more consistently with Bear using positive techniques that I was able to put to use when out in public with him. His behavior in public (and my relationship with him) improved dramatically during that first class! I have since taken several other classes with him and he has earned his CGC (Canine Good Citizen) title. I highly recommend TMDTC!
