When I was getting ready to leave, I had my cat covered because I couldn't look at him that way anymore, but I put my hand on the towel that had covered him and then a kiss. I told him I loved him. Jason then came over and gave me a hug and then I cried even more. That gesture met so much to me. And their prices were so much more reasonable than other places and I'm retired and on a fixed income, so this was also a big help. Now I just have to go back and pick up his ashes and that's going to be just as hard I think as leaving him there in the first place. I received a "survey" letter from Walton's with an offer of a free gift to complete their survey. I feel the timing, and the wording was horrible and ghoulish. I don't see any value to this marketing ploy. Walton's has survived by word of mouth and having been a staple in the community to help the bereaved through the process. This survey seems lowly for Walton's to do. Especially during the holiday season. Capitalizing on the death of loved ones during the holiday season, while pretentiously offering a free gift, while gathering data. Shameful.
