He stayed within my budget range, didn't try to upsell me, didn't take advantage of my grief and handled my boy with respect and care. He showed up after hours, didn't charge an arm and a leg and honestly after the last 24 hours I massively needed someone like this. Even after he took Fifi and I decided I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep the communal cremation - I was able to text and not be given a deadline to decide. The patience and compassion are seriously something I cannot express enough. We haven't made a decision yet, he just took my boy a few hours ago, but I needed to share because when you've lost an animal unexpectedly - desperately reaching out to everyone for help. Having someone like this who didn't price-gauge or judge how I handled him afterwards was a huge plus. I'm sure the cremation, paw print and tuft of hair will be just as amazing.

We recieved Lucy's ashes on the date promised and really got the feeling that she was treated with care and respect, returning her blanket and receiving her in a Muslin Pouch, as we still did not have an Urn. My daughter also purchased a ceramic Paw and Name Impression, which came out beautiful. We were really dreading this whole process, but fortunately it's over and our sweet girl is back home.

I called several times to ask about their procedure and how the whole process worked every time I called every person I spoke to was kind and gave me time to cry on the phone. I never felt rushed they explained and answered all my questions there was one question that I asked that the lady that answered was not sure how to answer me. She wanted to give me a soft answer, but I point blank asked her or these two things OK to do. She kind of chuckled and said oh my gosh, thank you I didn't know how to tell you those things. The day finally arrived that we had to make the final decision to send Sammy to the next realm, Dr. Green was the one who was assigned to us. The day that Sammey left. She called to go over the procedures again with us when she arrived at our house. I asked her if she could, please do it outside under his favorite tree. She was more than happy to go out there with us. Sammy was already in a state of peace the whole process without going into detail was gentle and kind. She also gave us time as much as we needed at the end to say our goodbyes. She lovingly wrapped him up in a blanket and put him in a basket. She even gave us a poem about saying goodbye to your cat. My husband carried him out to her car. We were told it would take 3 to 5 days to get it back, but we actually got him back way sooner. I arrived at their location and they brought Sammy out in a beautiful box. If you have to go through this process Heart's Companion was great. We also opted to get his paw print done that takes about seven days or so to get back. It's a beautiful memorial for your pet as traumatic as this all can be. They made it as gentle and beautiful as possible.

Our precious fourteen year old female was called beautiful and had pics taken of passerby's. When we picked her up after her being there for three hours or more ( every visit the same amount of time ) we just wanted to get them home. With her we noticed immediately her " beautiful fan tail " was no more. Her hind leg had been shaved to the bone. The shaver got away from one of their employees and that employee was not honest enough to report it. And if it was reported to his or her employer when we picked up our precious dog the incident was ignored and she was handed over to us like nothing ever happened. Now, a few months later she still has the large bald spot on the back of her hind leg where no hair has grown.. Her tail is completely butchered it hasn't grown out to its " beautiful fan wave" for a Collie after all this time. " I cant imagine what she was put through" being there! Our two year old male dog the most loving ever had his face completely missed his beard went over his lip. I trimmed it myself. I'm grateful our male dog hadn't gone through the trauma our precious female had gone through. I personally feel that someone there ( management) should be taking responsibility by checking while dogs are being groomed by ( newbies ) or any employee in any manner. I feel my female dog was left with a newbie and was not given the attention to this employee that he or she needed with managing. My daughter and I were under the impression that the woman that met us outside( same woman that groomed twice before ) asked how we'd like their grooming taken care of would be the one attending to both our dogs we trusted her grooming since she had done both our dogs twice before and we were happy with their outcome We had made recommendations to friends about Animal Oasis.We put our trust in the woman who greeted us who seemed interested in our concerns towards their grooming. This business failed my dogs and us. We should have looked at the grooming before paying the $100.00 per dog and not given the tips. I've never had to write up a complaint I waited hoping my female dog would grow her beautiful hair back to its original shape " Not" ! The Animal Oasis deserves this complaint. If you go to Animal Oasis after my complaint ask questions like who will be attending fully to my animal and look carefully after the work has been completed to your satisfaction before tipping.
