I've used this service twice, never again. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. IF you manage to get someone to answer the phone they always sound confused, bewildered and clueless. If they tell you they call you back, don't hold your breath waiting. They people are unprofessional, and i can't figure out how or why a business is run this way. First off, he's incredibly quick with responding, there was an opening within the next business day, and he did absolutely amazing with our large senior fur baby. He's got amazing communication. Upon arrival, Michael contacts you to ensure he's parked in an appropriate location. He spends time with your dog to ensure the best grooming possible and he's so thorough and talented . Also, pricing is extremely reasonable considering the fact that you're paying for a person who truly cares about the work they do, the attention to detail, making your pup feel safe, and overall just amazing service/care. I give Michael 5 stars for grooming our American Shephard in June 2025 but have to give them 2 stars for lack of communication. I wonder if they are still in business. I had an appointment for another grooming on 8/18/25 but received a text that morning from Michael saying his back was hurting and he wouldn't be coming. I replied to his text wishing him well and when did he want to reschedule. No reply - ever. A week later I sent an email to Patricia asking if they were okay and should I just book another appointment via their website. No reply - ever. I was very pleased with Michael as a person and a groomer and tipped him generously and told him he was definitely my new groomer for Ivy. However, if they are indeed still in business and have just been ignoring my attempts at contact, then I can't very well recommend them. read more

I am so happy I found Michael and "Your Dog Spa!" He did a fabulous job with my 2-year old Australian Shepherd Shasta. Shasta was fired from her last groomer for being too difficult, but Michael was a pro and she looks beautiful. I love that Your Dog Spa offers online, easy booking! In addition, as a newer business to Lake Tahoe, he had good availability and I was able to book with a few days notice. The service is super convenient as they come to your house so you can stay in your jammies, bring the pup to the mobile spa and go back to drinking coffee! I've been to many different groomers, and this is the very first time I've run my hands through her fur after a groom and nothing stuck on my hands.
