We hosted our work holiday party here! They were easy to work with and so accommodating. It is a beautiful event space that we felt was affordable for all of your party needs! They have indoor and outdoor spaces available as well as an upstairs. There is a private room in case guests need to get ready or touch up their makeup upstairs. We were very pleased with our experience and hope to host our holiday party here yearly.

Man, what a cool building. This was obviously a church in a former life. The large space is perfect for events. The large dimension roof lumber with iron hardware, stained glass, and wall mouldings are definitely interesting. I visited for Tapas and Tunes, a pop-up restaurant. A small band played during the meal and the acoustics were pretty decent. The venue does have a small parking lot buts it's about a block away.

Attended another well-received event- The Great Bingo Rivival...wow wow wow!! What an exciting extravangza this event was event was. Loved the energy and everything was well executed throughout the event. The bar staff was friendly and the go go dancers I recognized from being bar staff, I think all in all this was super fun with the energy of the MC, and how decked out everyone was. Great time and vibe!

I love it when older buildings can find new purpose. I remember this as a bank for the longest time, and now it is a very delightful venue. Got to see a friend of mine perform music here the other day, and it was quite a good show. The layout is big enough for moderate crowds, but still has a rather cozy, intimate feeling. There is the main floor great room, and a very pleasant little upstairs balcony, as well as additional spaces for work rooms or prep spaces. I have been hearing of many other events being hosted here, and I can definitely see why it is such a talked about space. Definitely hope to attend other get togethers here, sometime.

The Baby Rave fundraiser at the Virgil was an absolute delight! From the moment we stepped in, the energy was infectious. The venue was buzzing with excitement, filled with costumed folks of all ages, who were clearly having a blast. The variety of activities for both kids and adults made it a hit for the whole family. For the littles, there was a bounce house, a slide into a ball pit (a definite favorite), crafts to get creative, and even a stilt walker adding to the whimsy. The DJ kept the vibes lively with tracks that appealed to all ages, and the picture booth provided giggles and lasting memories. The adults weren't left out either. The bar offered a great selection of beer, cider, and wine and we definitely indulged in the tasty offerings from the food truck. The silent raffle added an extra element of excitement. The venue itself is stunning, with ample space and beautiful natural lighting that added to the ambiance. I'll definitely be keeping it in mind for future events. Reno is very fortunate to have such inclusive and enjoyable experiences that cater to both parents and children. It was a much-needed opportunity to unwind, connect with others, and create lasting family memories. Our kiddo burned so much energy that he fell asleep on the five minute drive home.

Incredible event space! Been here twice. Once for a realtor event and then today for a unity yoga event, it was great being in community within the shared space. Gorgeous for a multitude of events and in a phenomenal location in midtown.

    Ready for prom! Cute venue!

Yes. Beautiful venue! I would suggest they light the staircases separately from the dance floor or other areas of the venue, but I would recommend a wedding or quince there for sure.

It's my first time here, so don't know what it looked like before, but I can say it has preserved it's vintage charm.

The space is an older home just west of downtown. An easy walk. It has a great space for a large dining table for 20 of us and two serving tables. At the back was the kitchen where Reno Recipes prepared the meal. Outback is an amazing fully pavered yard with comfy seating and overhead lighting. Pictures inside show the area set up for outdoor dining. Now that would be a fabulous space for eating al fresca. The space seems great for small to medium sized events. She was so kind, attentive, and accommodating--making sure we had everything we needed and being available throughout the process. Her support made a big difference. Close to the Truckee River, tucked in a little pocket of Reno by Mayberry Park, we couldn't have asked for a spot that felt as private and serene. We wanted our day to feel like a slightly fancy-outdoorsy family reunion and knew this spot would be perfect when we visited it in the spring. By the fall, the greenery around the venue had filled in, making the area (and all our photos) extra beautiful. The available space can be set up in many different layouts. The ceremony area easily fit our guest list of 40, with room to spare. Then, it doubled as an area for games and later a bit of casual dancing by just moving a few chairs. We loved having a few different but connected areas for guests to spend time together. The owners were so helpful explaining everything about the venue. Many thanks to both for sharing such a wonderful space that is clearly cared for and kept with much love.

We were in the area and saw the big black widow spider and thought what a large Halloween store. But we were pleasantly mistaken - What used to be a bowling alley has now been repurposed into an absolute wonderland of an experience. It's a full blown kid friendly adult friendly haunted warehouse. My 4 year old son had an absolute blast, it starts of with a bit of trick or treating as your making your way through the adventure, then turns into a full on experience as each and every room has a theme from Jurassic park, aliens, robots, clowns, skeletons, a mirror room that I conveniently banged my head into, all the way to the super psychedelic tunnel. Which leads you to the Macabre mansion - for adults and children too. THEY ARE EXTREMELY ACCOMMODATING- asking how scary you'd like the experience to be. Seeing as my Little guy is 4 we asked for no jump scares. And made it through enjoying every bit of the way. My little guy hugged the zombie, high fives leather face and complimented his chainsaw, noting it looked like it could use some oil, but the blood would do. We had an absolute blast. They are doing a Christmas themed experience as well. The owner has a dream, retired and sunk all of her savings into an experience we can all appreciate. I hope to see them sound for many many more years to come. Do yourself a favor and check them out! You won't be disappointed.
