The Good ° $65 a month, no guessing ° More reliable than Xfinity ° Better Customer service than Xfinity & AT&T - You can reach them by text and they respond back quite quickly ° Easy & clean installation ° Upload speed is amazing! I'd only get 6-14 Mbps with Xfinity, so 90 Mbps is a huge upgrade for streaming The Bad ° The wireless point to point isn't blazing fast. Average 315-420 Mbps - Only really felt when gaming or updating The Ugly ° Not Tekify's fault, really it's largely the whole bay area, but no fiber option at my old house and at my new house ° Can't service a lot of friends I've recommended because of trees blocking line of sight Xfinity had better speed overall but I was always guessing what I'd get from day to day and it would always randomly go down. For half the price and better reliability and customer service, Tekify is a much better value!

We worked with Ryan, who was able to answer all our questions. Their monthly rate is 1/2 what we paid for Xfinity. It's only been a week, but our internet has not dropped once. Moises, the installer, arrived on time and did the entire installation himself in about 4 hours. He first set up a temporary antenna to check the download and upload speeds. Our speed was even better than what they had quoted. Once the antenna was set up on our roof, a cable is then connected to an outlet in our house. Once we set up our routers, everything worked seamlessly. Moises didn't leave until we confirmed that all of our devices were connected. If you live in the Fremont or neighboring areas, I highly recommend Tekify for your internet service.

He did not know how to set up the security products professionally. Then, he charged for 40.00 for all of his mess. The 40.00 fee was not on the agreement and on the contract. I was so shocked that he also requested for a tip before he left. He did not deserve a tip based on the fact that he failed the installation. So the 40.00 he charged without my permission had became his tip. To deal with the very dishonest staff in Fremont and deal with staff does not know how to speak English at the customer service number is a physical, mental and emotional pain. On the other hand, they also took my credit of 69.99 and discontinued our TV service for more than one year. That was another steal of 69.99. The total money they stole from our account is 109.99. I would never recommend ITALK BB to anyone at this point. They need to hire the staff can speak English fluently or hire people was born in USA as a native. They need to train their staff do the professional installation without working like a thief to steal customer's money. He came to our home just want to steal money unexpectedly. Be very cautious, if you plan to do anything with ITALKBB. We finally cancelled all the products with them in May 2026. I truly regret that we did not read other reviews prior to do the business with ITALKBB. It has been very unfair to go through this nightmare with ITALKBB. I have written to the management team and ITALKBB have ignored both issues for more than two years. Moving forward, I make sure I read the reviews of the business before I do any business. I finally decide to share the true story and disclose the nightmare with all the viewers as of today, 7/19/2026.

The price cannot be beat, and the performance has been excellent. Our installer Jeff M was smart, efficient, and ran the cabling in a very neat fashion. We went from paying hundreds of dollars with Big Cable to only $65/month for their 500mbps plan. The support over phone is also local and responsive. Our household has plenty of bandwidth, and with my wife and I working from home, we are able to do so in an effective manner. No longer do we have to do the dance with Comcast each year to plea for a better rate. And the best part? No data caps to worry about. Twist will also give you an Eero router (or two) for WiFi if you need it. They are super easy to manage and set up, our wifi coverage is on point across both floors of our house. If you work from home, stream a lot, or have a gamer in your household, Twist Broadband is the way to go.

Sail Internet/Twist Broadband, with only a $5 upcharge compared to ATT, provides a reliable 500Mbs connection. Installation included two eero 6+ mesh routers, which provide strong coverage throughout our house. The eero app must be installed on your phone for the installer to proceed. Maybe Sail Internet limits the available options on the eero app. Because of limit control options, it took hours to successfully add some old devices, particularly my Sangean and Auna Internet radios, to the network. TIP: For those who are not network experts, I recommend asking in advance if the installer can verify the network connections for all devices (robovacs, alarm devices, streaming boxes, TVs, printers, etc.) before departure or that you have a tech-savvy friend to help with connection issues after installation. TIP: Changing the router's network password to the same as your old router's password will make the changeover much easier.

Unfortunately, my…read morenew-customer installation appointment this morning went so poorly that I cancelled rather than reschedule. I had a 7:30-8:30 a.m. appointment for new internet service after spending quite a bit of time deciding which provider I wanted to switch to. Signing up as a NEW customer was incredibly fast and easy. I was able to speak with a live person, get everything arranged, and get an appointment quickly. I specifically chose Thursday because I work from home that day and selected the first appointment of the morning to minimize disruption to my workday. I even got up at 6:30 a.m. to prepare for the technician. I vacuumed behind the furniture, cleaned the wall where my old Dish Network service entered the house, and made sure the existing faceplate and hole through the stucco were accessible. Yes, I even cleaned up the dust bunnies behind the TV because I figured nobody wants to work in someone else's dust bunnies! Then the Xfinity text updates started. First, I received a message saying my technician was running EARLY and would arrive at 7:27 a.m. Great! That was exactly why I booked the first appointment. After 8:00, I received another message saying the technician was running later than expected. Okay, things happen. Then at 8:18 a.m., I received a message saying the technician was ARRIVING and that I should be ready to greet them. I put my cat in another room and went outside to meet the technician. While I waited, I actually knocked down spiderwebs along the conduit and around the existing cable entry point so the technician wouldn't have to work around spiders and webs. And I waited. And waited. I was outside for approximately 45 minutes. No technician arrived. No Xfinity truck came down my street. Then I received a message saying, essentially, "Sorry we missed you," with a link to reschedule. You didn't miss me. I was literally standing outside waiting for you because YOUR text told me your technician was arriving. That was the point where this went from an inconvenience to an extremely frustrating first impression. I called Xfinity because I wanted to speak with someone and simply find out what happened. Instead, I ended up in what felt like automated-phone-tree purgatory. Every number seemed to lead back to the same automated system. Eventually I discovered that if I stopped pressing buttons or responding, I could finally reach a live human. Once I reached an actual person, they were pleasant enough, but they couldn't tell me what happened. There was no explanation for why the technician didn't arrive, why the system reported that the technician WAS arriving, or why I subsequently received a message implying that I hadn't been home. The only solution offered was to reschedule. At that point, I declined. I explained that if they could get someone back to my house TODAY, I was willing to continue. Otherwise, after taking time out of my morning for an appointment that Xfinity failed to keep, I wasn't interested in simply starting over with another appointment. Had someone said, "We had an emergency," "The technician was redirected to an outage," or even simply, "We're sorry, something happened and we can't make your appointment," I would have understood. Things happen. What bothered me was the complete lack of communication and then receiving a "sorry we missed you" message when I had been outside waiting for them. Adding to the frustration, I was also going to be charged a $100 installation fee. That's difficult to swallow when I'm a brand-new customer bringing new monthly business to the company--and the first installation appointment wasn't even honored. The irony is that I spent a lot of time researching providers and thought Xfinity was the clear winner. I'm also the type of customer who tends to stay put; I was with my previous provider for approximately 30 years. I wasn't looking to jump from provider to provider. Now I'm reconsidering the entire decision. I may stay with my slower copper internet a little longer while I look more seriously at wireless/radio ISP options. Fast internet is important, but so are communication and accessible customer service--especially when something goes wrong. For a company that made becoming a customer incredibly fast and easy, my first experience trying to actually GET the service was surprisingly difficult. Basically in closing, if I use Xfinity's own sequence of Xfinity texts it clearly shows my frustration they essentially said : "We're early!" "We're late!" "We're arriving!" nobody appears "Sorry we missed you." Meanwhile, I was outside once they sent me a text saying go outside and greet my technician and was outside removing spiderwebs for a technician who apparently existed only in text-message form. Not a great first impression, Xfinity.
