After switching to Verizon with my family, my phone would not receive text. I tried dealing with the tech team for over 8 hours thought multiple calls and there was no fix for me. After a week of trying to get it work, it was determined by the tech team that I would need to change my provider for it to work properly. I was told that because it wasn't our fault my phone didn't get texts that we could have the fees waived. I informed the service team that we need to change services and what has happened, we mailed back in the phones and paid off my wife's phone as she had been there for 2 years prior through work. After moving to T-Mobile and a month later we then get a bill for over $1200 saying that they don't have the phones and we need to pay for the service. After providing the tracking number they gave me, they saw the phones were delivered over 2 weeks ago and were in their wearhouse. After another week they call me back saying they found the phones, but I still have to pay for the service. Even though I was told over a month prior I wouldn't need to and refunded $16 for over payments, I now owe $100 for the service and have to pay back the $16. This is not how you should do business and definitely not a provider you should go with. read more

I'm switching to Verizon from ATT and purchased everything online, but wanted to trade in the device at a physical store to minimize any potential issues with shipping, receiving, inspecting, etc. preventing me from receiving the trade in credits. Even though my order said to ship in the device, I stopped by this Verizon store and they were able to accept it. I got an email that said one of our phones was eligible for a "free" upgrade, so we decided to come into the store. You should make an appointment online first. Otherwise, someone may not be available to help you if you just walk in. But even with an appointment, we had to wait a little bit for someone to become available to help us. Turns out the "free" upgrade meant I'd have to upgrade our plan for an extra $20 a month. Um, no thanks. But our service guy was able to find a deal for us, so we walked away with a new phone. The only thing that our service guy did for us was step through the upgrade process while I was logged into my account. Then we wait for about 20 minutes for Verizon to process the order and release the phone. I get a text that my phone was ready, and our service guy comes back and hands us the phone. The whole process was about 1 hour. Service was fine, but seems like I could have done everything in the comfort of my home and then walk into the store to pick up the phone. The store itself is pretty small, with a small variety of accessories to choose from. We ended up buying all our accessories for the new phone from Amazon. read more

Brought our parents in to get new phones and reduce their bills. The Verizon representative working with us, Chance, was rude and said he couldn't help reduce costs. This is after visiting the Verizon store in San Leandro where their representative had a plan that was lower, but unfortunately they had no phones available and sent us to the store in Fremont. We ended up going to AT&T where they reduced their monthly bill by $50.00 and got them set up with new iPhone 14s. Glad we switched carriers. read more

My son gave me a phone to replace my 6s. I tried to work with Verizon on the phone 2 different days went to the store and they wanted $30.00 to transfer data. I told them apple would do at NO CHARGE.Anyway apple took care of my customer service at NO CHARGE. I pay Verizon almost $200.00 and expected the customer service I recieved from Apple. I was told at Verizon there would be no charge for activatiion the recieved a email the activation would be $35.00 . The data transfer and activation was complete. Today my Sim card failed. I went into Verizon by Pacific Commons in Fremont and was waiting less than one minute to get help. I came early in the morning when they first opened. I was helped by a young gentleman name, Chance, and he was able to replace my Sim card swiftly. Everything was already pre-programmed and worked very quickly. I am thankful for his help. He delivered phenomenal customers customer service and I am glad to have come here. I would recommend this location for all of you, who are looking for an original Verizon provider to take care of your mobile needs. This location is awesome! Nadia got me the new SIM, installed it for me, and verified ( it takes Verizon 5 minutes to activate new SIM ) that it is active. All that service was even given with a smile. read more

CRIMINAL!! This store practices unethical selling practices that are CRIMINAL. The sales associate Javier C. explained that a SIM card offers internet protection when the iPad leaves the house, and omitted the fact that it was a data line that would be a reoccurring charge every month. My Grandma was mislead into purchasing a SIM card for her iPad thinking it gives her internet protection when in fact adding lines is the best way for Javier to make a commission. What's CRIMINAL is that when my Grandmother came back the SAME DAY and asked to remove the data line EVERY ASSOCIATE in the store LIED and stated they were unable to remove the line until 14 days had passed. They said "the company" that attaches the data line isn't able to rectify the situation until 14 days has passed. Excuse me? The company, you mean Verizon the store we are standing in? I'll tell you why they asked my Grandma to wait 14 days because that's the buyers remorse period and Verizon would have charged an early cancellation fee if we have waited 14 days to cancel. If you have also been lied to and asked to wait 14 days call *611 on your phone and a Verizon call center rep will remove it in less time than it took to dial the number. Do not be fooled. I wish I could believe that this was not purposeful because it would be shocking to think that there's a store of such poorly trained and incompent salespeople working under one roof. Gabriel at Fremont Verizon store (Christy St.) offered excellent customer service. I just transferred four lines to Verizon. The agent on the phone messed up my daughter and my phone's number. My daughter was leaving to NY in two hours. I rushed to the store. Gabriel was super patient, knowledgeable and helpful. He solved the challenging problem. My daughter went to airport on time with her new phone. The second time I went to the store, Gabriel helped me with internet service. He also addressed several issues I had with my cell phone and account. I was impressed with the way Gabriel went the extra mile to resolve my problem. Scam Alert!!!!!!! This company will overcharge you for services that you will never use!! I bought an iPad at this location for WiFi only usage but they connect a phone line regardless and it comes with a monthly fee. Staff at store will tell you none of this but it's hidden in the contract very UNETHICAL PRACTICE!! Called them out some rude customer service person offers credit but the will transfer you to someone with a script saying they are with Fraud and it's written into the contract regardless if staff told you nothing it's not fraud. Terrible experience, I went in to get a new iPhone and the person helping was more worried about trying to up sell me than the actual transaction. He was really uninterested in helping me, he went as far as adding an iPad to my bill, which I had not asked for after I declined his push to get an additional iPhone. He rushed me out without my new phone being activated and managed to up-sell items that I wasn't there. Additionally when I asked to bring down a charge that was more than the online advertised amount he said he would only do it after two weeks of me not returning the phone (guessing that's when his commission comes in). To make matters worse the new phone didn't activate and he disconnected my phone line. I should of gone to Best Buy for my new phone purchase, beware they will try to hustle you at this store! read more

I left with a phone and the worst customer service experience I have ever received. I knew I wanted the iPhone 8+ and I already purchased a case and screen protector online. He was trying to sell me more, which I politely declined. After I declined, he was definitely annoyed with me. I could tell with the way he was talking and behaving. He tried to sell me a $60 dollar wireless speaker for $100 with a discount, I told him no and he kept insisting. I will NEVER step foot in here again. I got on with CS over the phone and they took care of my activation fee without making me buy anything.
